I got a last minute request to get natas (a Portuguese pastry) for a party. Found this place by using the Unilocal app and funny thing is I used to drive right by this place all the time. I got there and immediately found parking. I waited for a few minutes and only saw 10 of them on the shelf. When it was my turn, I asked for 18, she went out back and came out with 18. I paid and went my way. Even though I was in a rush, the woman behind the counter was every friendly. If you have never tried natas (pronounced nah-​tish) you are certainly missing out. They’ve got the recipe down.

I mainly buy bread and it’s amazing. Super cheap breads and sweets great Saturday or Sunday morning stop early morning and it’s still warm right put of the oven. Not a great area but perfectly safe during the day

This is an awesome Portuguese Bakery. The service was anything but friendly, but the treats are delicious. My top three would be the sweet bread, the doughboys, and these delicious mini custard pies that they have. I have eaten treats from here a lot and the are always reliable, nothing is ever stale or not fresh. If you go first thing in the morning most of your pastries will still be hot. Parking is easy on the street or I think they also have their own lot.

Family own business, fresh food all the time, great desserts, fresh bread, parking? Back of the store, or next to it if you are leaving fast. You can special order your cakes, bread or desserts, try it, just pay them a visit and you’ll see; u won’t be dissatisfied

Was at the hardware store and asked for a good bakery. Little did I know they sent me to a GREAT Portuguese bakery! The breads, sweets, and meat roll were all fantastic. And the right price — this is an awesome working man’s bakery. Cash only. A great find in a great neighborhood.
