Bad Kat Kupkakes

Sadly the place closed down, so much wasted potential. Should have been marketed better. Oh well, good luck to the owner on future ventures.

Wow so disappointing. I work in the area and there’s only one real lunch option so I was thrilled to find out that Bad Kat was opening and that they would be serving lunch as well as cupcakes. Their space is cute and I could see coming in for a tea and breakfast item or sitting down for lunch. When I visited however I was looking to grab something to go so I could get back to the office. They seemed to have a lot of good options on their menu, a buffalo chicken, a turkey avocado, a greek. I chose the buffalo and asked if it came with chips or anything (since it was $ 8.95) the girl helping me said chips or a tomato, feta salad. I picked the chips. My coworker ordered and we waiting about 5 min for mine (not bad, nice and fast) but a while longer for her’s (avocado tomato panini) probably another 10min give or take. When I looked at my wrap I was highly disappointed. It was the smallest wrap I’ve ever seen (kid’s size?) but I hope I could at least say it was small but delicious. After eating I can’t even say that. It had barely anything in it and it was just drenched in buffalo sauce, and my coworkers sandwich wasn’t much better. Bad Kat needs to take a look at their one competition at lunch (Exchange Café) and see the large portions of quality food they give for less than their sandwiches. I don’t wish this place to do poorly I hope they learn and work this out because I’d love to have another lunch options.
