The HandyMan Can LLC

We recently had work done in our kitchen. We had a countertop installed by another company and had Michael McGuire from handyman can to do the plumbing for the sink and also for the tile backsplash. He could not perform the plumbing he said it was too complicated … Then why did you accept the job indicating to us that you could do it? Then he did the tile and did a horrible job… It looked better the old way before he did anything to it… The grout is sloppily placed, like he rushed… He chipped our tile and also left a big hole under the countertop… Did not even fill it in with tile… Called him to repair this and he refused. Saying that this is not part of the contract and will not do it… If placing tile from the counter to the cabinet is not part of the contract why did he do it up to the cabinets on all my other cabinets. I had to get someone else to repair a job which I hired Michael to do… Beware of the handy man can In Cumberland… More like the handyman cannot in Cumberland… He is lazy!

Update: The Handy Man Can lost in Small Claims Court against us… He stated in his rebuttal, to my original post, that he refused a contract with us, which was not the truth. Once Mr. McGuire took our money it was a verbal contract. As ordered by the court, he has given us our money back.
