Went through the drive thru recently and asked for a specific thing, asked again at the window, and still didn’t get it. I was already running behind for work, so I called the store to complain. The manager was nice and said to come in the next day. A different manager was there, took care of my special request, and didn’t charge me for my meal. Faith in hardees restored.

Whenever I am tempted to get fast food, Hardee’s low carb burger is my #1 choice. I could care less about low carb but being wrapped in lettuce you get just the burger taste without all the bun involvement. Plus then I don’t feel as guilty about eating the onion rings. It’s 1⁄3 lb of Black Angus charbroiled so it really has flavor and they always have a giant slice of red onion they adds to the taste. The lettuce is nice & crisp although I have made the mistake of trying to eat one of these while driving, The paper it is wrapped in is hard to distinguish from the lettuce until you have bitten into it.

One of the few fast food restaurants that actually serve country ham. Fairly good and quick for breakfast.

Hardee’s has had it’s ups and down in the past, but it’s been a major turn around since they’ve rebuilt in the same location. The Thickburger is the best burger from a fast food restaurant, better than Five Guys and also Backyard Burger. The red onions win me over but I feel like my breath stinks the rest of the day. The little thickburger is the perfect size for lunch and the fries are always hot and tasty. Service is prompt and they bring your food out to your table. Bring back the Jalapeño Burger!
