Out of business, more than likely because the owner was an idiot and couldn’t cook a pizza.

Just not good. $ 24 for a large Margerita pizza?! This isn’t Mellow Mushroom for goodness sakes. I could have easily surpassed the«quality» here at Domino’s and saved like $ 15.

I have always loved this Johnny’s. Never had a bad experience… the food is constant to me. I love their salads and sandwiches. Never known another Johnny’s to have a flat top grill so that is a plus. The pizza is great as long as you get a whole pizza. The slices are good too, but not as fresh– i still love it tho! Calzones and everything else is great as well! Not sure what’s wrong with all these folks with negative comments. I wish that I had a Johnny’s close to my house. Its pretty much the only place I will eat pizza.

On 11 – 25 I placed a phone order for pick-up at Johnny B’s on Keith Bridge Rd. in the Publix shopping center. During the phone order the young lady who took my order told me there was a $ 3.50 discount for the large Johnny’s deluxe. I asked how much it was and she told me $ 21.10. I asked if that was after the discount and she seemed confused so she put me on hold and when she came back she repeated the price. To confirm I said«$ 21.10 minus $ 3.50» and she confirmed the price. When I got to the restaurant I was told the price was $ 22 and change(don’t remember the exact amount). At that point I told the young lady that was not the price I was told over the phone. The owner came over and I explained what transpired and he proceeded to tell me I had«obviously made mistake.» We went back and forth about the possibility that I was not the one that made the mistake. He asked if I wanted the pizza or not. I responded I did not given the way he had treated me. I left and returned to ask his name so I could be accurate in my Unilocal review and he said he would ignore it like he does all the other ones. He said I was being a —then stopped. Then said it was only $ 3.5 implying that was the issue when in fact it was how he treated me as a customer. He asked me to leave. I replied«or what?» and he said he would call the sheriff. I said to him you are going to tell the sheriff that I complained about your service? I left. I do not fault the young lady who took my phone order or the young lady at the counter when I arrive to pick-up my order. The owner(Marty or Mark) was penny-wise and pound-foolish. Had he simply said we will take the $ 3.50 off the price of the pizze I would have paid for it and added that $ 3.50 to the tip. Instead the owner was immature and irrational. I will never return to Johnny B’s at this location and would not recommend this location to anyone who asked.

We just moved to the lake and tried Johnny’s one night when we needed to get away from unpacking boxes. Atmosphere is bad. I realize it’s a pizza joint but I’ve been into several Johnny’s and this place is lacking… really bad. They had the Health Inspection scores siting face up on the beer-less bar with a score of 79. Owner is working on getting alcohol license back. always a red flag. The TV’s are the same TV’s I watched the Braves go from worst to first on in the early 90’s. The reason I give two stars is the waitress was very nice and attentive but I’d much rather heat up a Tombstone and crack a Heineken at home.

Pizza is so-so. We used to come here for beer, but now they have no liquor license. Last night we ordered 3 large pies and had coupons. He would only take one coupon. We asked if we could buy them separately, he said no. The pizzas were a bit under cooked, and we are now considering trying another local place. Problem is, there aren’t that many places around here. A great pizza place in this area would put most of these places out of business.

What goes good with pizza? Beer, of course. However, the waitress said the owner does not have a liquor license. Hmmm… Moving on.

decent place. I cannot complain. Calzones are huge and is def good enough for two people. Pizzas are alright. Nothing significant. Just a typical pizza joint. Can’t complain.

We have eaten here about 30 times but after today we will not be back. This is not New York style pizza… it was stiff as a board had hardly any sauce and was just in general not good. The sauce what little there is of it looks like it comes from a can… it didnt have tomato chunks like it used to. Very sad our family’s favorite pizza joint is no more.

I’ve had about 10 pizzas from this Johnny’s Pizza location over the past 5 years. Only one time did I actually eat in the restaurant, the rest have been take out and one time delivery. The dining experience was nice. The first time I tried delivery they had told me delivery would be about 90 minutes because of a lack of drivers, so I just picked it up. The first and only time they actually delivered a pizza to me, it took over an hour and the pizza was soooo soggy. The pizza is good+ though,(I’d give it a B+) but not great. It’s a bit overpriced in my opinion. My biggest complaint is that many times, their pizza is soggy… On more than one occasion, the center of the pizza is so wet and juicy that I have to use a spatula to move it from the box to my plate. Forget about picking it up and eating it from your hand. It tastes good though! Maybe they should let the pizza steam off a bit before putting it into the box? I’m not sure. I’ve experienced rudeness from the manager in the past; it was only one time though, but it was bad enough for me to contact the owner about the incident. They’ve gotten my order wrong once. I really want to like this place more than I do. They are good though. I give them 3 stars.

I have only visited this location twice, both times were rather forgettable. It is located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking, though pulling back onto Hwy 369 during peak traffic hours requires an aggressive driver. The interior is a classic pizza joint, plenty of seating, dark and red tones everywhere. As someone mentioned, it is just a typical Johnny’s. I have dined in twice as mentioned, but my family also attempted delivery one night recently. Unfortunately it was going to take over an hour and half before someone was available to deliver. This was a bit of turn off considering we have no problem ordering delivery at any time on any day from any other pizza joint(Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, etc). We decided to just do carryout. Not the most convenient option, but I cannot dock or add stars for their delivery process since I haven’t had the chance to experience it. In my times going here the service has never been anything special. I had never experienced rudeness or neglect, it has always just been average customer service. Pizza has always been good. Definitely tastes better than aforementioned places. The veggies on the pizzas appear to be way more fresh than other places, and their meat topping is generous. Bacon is always a favorite, but then again, I haven’t been disappointed by any pizza covered in bacon. I can’t speak to there other food items, but as far as pizza goes, I don’t think you can go wrong ordering from here if you desire a change from the overly-greasy pies from other pizza shops. Though they do say even bad pizza is still… pretty good.

So my last review was 4 stars, they made a mistake and recovered well. Today was our first visit back since I gave them that review and they have slipped considerably. When I reviewed on 6⁄20 they had forgotten to make our stromboli. Can you believe it happened again today? After waiting almost 30 minutes my partner walks up to the coutner and asks about it. He was assured that it was«about to come out of the oven». Then we sat there and WATCHED the cook make it. 10 minutes later the server brings it to us, its cold in the middle! The cheese has not even begun to melt, it is completely cold. Took it up the counter and the cook rudely asked us «what do you want me to do». At which point he was told that we would just pay for our cokes and leave. I had already spent my entire lunch hour on that place. To top it all of they didn’t even comp us our cokes! Wound up going down the street to Wendys. Great, just great. I spent my whole dang lunch hour trying to get food and wound up with a greasy burger. When you add the frigid temps to the rude cook you have recipe for failure. I guess that explains why(at the height of lunch hour) there were only 3 tables filled in the entire restaurant. Bye-bye Johnnys in Cumming, you’ll not have our business again.

This is a typical Johnny’s — except for the people here. My boys love this place, not so much for the authentic northeast style pizza, but for«Miss Marissa». The people that work here are the friendliest people in the area — and that’s saying a lot! Marissa has never met a stranger, and my family became fast friends with her. It doesn’t hurt that when I am in the area, the boys always and unanimously choose this Johnny’s as «THE» place to go to get their bacon topped pizza. I usually get a greek salad, and it’s always fresh and always generous.
