If I could give zero stars I would. I will never step foot back in this place or any Pike’s stores again. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. Stopped in to buy over $ 500 of plants and trees and there was no one to wait on us. We asked the RUDE sales person if there was someone around that could help and she said they were doing inventory and didn’t have time for customers. Then another RUDE sales person came in and she tried to get someone to help but the guy that came in looked like he was hung over from the night before. We had just spent $ 150 in the store the day before. Don’t waste your time with Pike Nurseries. They are over priced and don’t care about the customer, just the almighty dollar.

Rude rude rude. We went to purchase about 500 dollars worth of plants and left with 45. Lowes and Home Depot will get my business. Not one person was helpful and when we asked for help they looked bothered. The cashier was on the phone and didn’t acknowledge us. Looked like she was knitting prior. I will be sure to tell everyone NOT to spend their money here. Visited 05/18/2014

I was shocked at the lack of assistance I received at this location on 4÷20÷2013. I came to a nursery to receive some expert advise that I can’t get at a home improvement store. No employees spoke to me, none ask to assist me and I looked lost. I had to chase down two employees that barely acknowledged me. I was just looking for an aloe plant. The first man told me to go to where the cactus are sold and went back to his work. One woman told me the same but at least pointed in the direction of the cactus and walked away. I saw almost every other customer get a smile, approached and asked if they needed help, what kind of plants where they looking for, and then walked to the location. I will NEVER go back to any of these nurseries, I am obviously not a customer they want to see and help.

We came here to buy one of the large 18″ glazed potts to put some yard art in on the new patio. We found a very large selection of pottery, and I LOVED walking through the greenhouses looking at all the flowers, Coming from working at John Deere Landscapes, Pikes was my biggest competitor and I felt a little like I was cheating on JDL but we had a gift certificate, and we were in the area :) They had such a beatiful selection of different glazes on potts and sizes and a really really nice selection of plants. we chose a hugemongo poo and 2 employees were super friendly and helpful to get it for us and bring it to the front while we selected some winter flowers to go in the new addition:) We got some Swiss Charr, and Snapdragons, and Violas, Pretty colors and healthy plants. One thing i did notice were alot of the plants were really dry. and I know its winter and cold… but they still needed to be watered asap. So we went ahead and checked out, the boys got paper and carefully loaded the pot into the car, and we were off. Spent a good hour there looking at everything they had to offer, I appreciate that for the cost of the materials they do offer a warranty replacement for the plants(something JDL doesnt do) and had a really nice selection of plants :)

I had an excellent experience at this Pike today. The customer service, while not stellar, was pretty good. The cashier really seemed to know her stuff and was able to recommend a few things I needed that I didn’t realize I needed. This helped make it so that I think I will be better able to get the blueberry bushes that I purchased today going soon. The selection of plants was good, although one of the particular varieties of blueberry for which I was looking wasn’t available. The biggest problems I would have were the fact that the place seemed poorly laid out, and there was no apparent rhyme or reason to the placement of the various plants. Overall, however, I think it was well worth the trip.
