Get the cranberry ham sandwich here! It’s amazing. I think on the menu it’s only listed as cranberry turkey, but you can ask them to change the meat. The sauce is to die for, and it goes so well with the rest of the sandwich! The mayo/cranberry sauce combo makes the sandwich a little bit messy especially when you get to the edges, but still totally worth it. Portion sizes are on the smaller side, but still not bad! My only complaint is that the crust of the bread is quite tough(the bread is super fresh, though). I’ve tried the clam chowder here before as well, but I really didn’t think it was anything special. The cranberry ham sandwich is where it’s at :)

Food great. Service unfortunately is just mediocre at this Cupertino location. The clientele seems rougher — that could attribute to service too. Prefer Sunnyvale location.

I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Overall, I come here at least one every week or every other week. My order is not always perfect, but overall the food quality is good and the service most of the time is good. It can get busy, but that’s because Apple is close by, and often they receive very big orders, so folks just need to understand.

I come here often to get my usual: half some sort of sandwich(it differs every time) and half rustic tomato soup. Lately, I’ve noticed that their sandwiches have been getting slightly smaller but I brushed it off, knowing that they can’t make the exact same size every time. Today, I got half turkey and havarti sandwich and half rustic tomato soup. When I came home and opened my bag, I was appalled at how small the sandwich was. It was smaller than my hand! And I’ve got some pretty small hands, being a 5′ girl. On top of that, the cashier was a tad rude and seemed like he didn’t want to be there. VERY disappointed.

It’s pretty funny they want you to think they care about their customer service so they get your phone number and put on a «show» for online users to see but trust me… they never call and don’t really care. Ha this place is a joke!

I work very close to the place and visit quite often. The place is good for a quick bite and serves clam chowder everyday. I’ve tried the butternut squash soup and its good too. All the salads dishes are tasty.

Boudin’s a great place for a quick sandwich or soup fix(or both!). They have sandwiches, soups, grilled cheese, and salads. They also have combos where you can get half a sandwich and soup or soup and salad. I usually go for the sandwich and soup combo(ham & brie sandwich with tomato soup is my favorite). You can also get soup in a bread bowl, which I highly recommend! It’s best finished on the spot, but toast it if you have to reheat it to get the most out of the original texture :) There’s plenty of seating inside the store, as well as some seats outside. You can also order online and just walk in and pick up your order, but I’ve found that they’re not the most attentive to walk-ins, so make sure to get someone’s attention and let them know you’ve already ordered ahead. Also, in my experience, parking on weekends is difficult.

My experience was completely and utterly disappointing. I can firmly say that I will not be coming back. After a stressful week of school, I wanted to just relax and have a nice meal with some friends so I decided to give Boudin a try. However, when I ordered my Chicken Pesto sandwich, it was impossible to eat because the bread was stale and way too damn hard. It was impossible to chew and in trying to chew it, I got arthritis in my jaw which hurt me for two weeks and I’m saying this as someone under the age of 30 with no major health issues and no oral restrictions like braces. In the end, I had to completely disassemble the sandwich and eat only the fillings because the bread was literally impossible to chew. This really was a shame because otherwise it could have been a decent sandwich. And I’m not the only one who thought that the bread was too hard and stale. My friend ordered the same item and he too started getting jaw pains from eating the sandwich. Furthermore, in the table next to me, people also threw out all the bread from their sandwich because it was just impossible to eat. Even if I had teeth made out of iron, I don’t think I would have been able to chew this bread because it was simply too hard. Considering that this is also a bakery and that they place heavy emphasis on bread, it is completely unacceptable that their bread was this hard and this stale. They have some serious issues with the quality assurance of their bread. Furthermore, when I wanted to use their advertised«free wifi» to write this Unilocal review, I was told that their wifi was broken. This made my experience even more disappointing and is completely unacceptable because a) public places should generally offer wifi to their customers and b) outside the door they used stickers to advertise free wifi. If they knew their wifi was broken, they should have taken down their stickers rather than falsely advertise and mislead their customers with an unfulfilled promise of free wifi, which is technically illegal as it is misrepresentation and false advertising. I can honestly say that this is one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.

It’s slow moving, not so friendly after the usual lunch rush it seems today. Perhaps the cashier had a busy day and can’t be bothered to smile or answer my inquiry about half sandwich and soup options until I look at him with a you are going to answer my question aren’t you eyes. Tables are dirty despite no lines and 8 of the 26 being occupied. The service is barely there. It’s all topped off by the server looking for me amongst all others that have already been served. He’s nonchalant and reminiscent of my initial cashier experience which portends they couldn’t care less for my business. I call out to the server and say«87?“which is my number. I left it on the table versus the table stand. He says«oh it’s hard to find you when the number is left on the table.» I look at him and say«yup». Needless to say but I will, I will not be dining at this Cupertino location again. This place has the worse demonstration of giving a –about the customer or customer experience.

I don’t even know how this experience was possible at a Boudin Bakery S.F. in Cupertino, Ca. My fiancé and I are up here from San Diego for work. We have been fans of Boudin since we were 17 ‚(we are 30 now), and had our first job in Fashion Valley. The food was always a bit pricey for our lunchbreak dates, but it was always so good that it was worth it. Great food, great consistency. We were so excited when we came up to the SF area and found a Boudin next to one of our work places. We decided to have a lunch one day while it was rainy out. The cashier was very nice. That was about where the plus’ ended. The food took FOREVER… We are both in retail management and are extremely patient and understanding. This took forever. They seemed to be understaffed and the staff that was on, moved like snails and seemed to be unmanaged. When we finally got our food, my fiancé had ordered a bowl of chili and a turkey and have to cheese sandwich on sliced sourdough. His chili was barely at room temp. No joke. He politely asked the server when they came around if it would be OK for the chili to be heated since it wasn’t hot. She took it and when she brought it back, it was the same bowl of chili and it had been stuck in the microwave.. But not for long enough.. It was barely warmish… I got the butternut squash soup with a side salad. My soup was piping hot… with a nice mediu, length blonde hair running through it I discovered on my 3rd bite. YUMMY!!! And my salad. It was warm(warmer than room temperature) and very wilted. I looked down at my feet at one point and saw some mac and cheese on the floor. Should have went to Panera Bread across the street. They actually serve mac n cheese… P. S. I wrote them a complaint and gae them a poor review. No response. So dissapointing.

My Saturday hangover cure. Why Saturday? They offer the roasted garlic tomato soup on Saturdays! This in a bread bowl is my go to hangover cure… it tastes way better than the regular tomato soup too. The regular tomato soup tastes fine, but it doesn’t compare to the roasted garlic tomato soup. I’ve tried the butternut squash soup as well and that tastes great too! I used to work at the mall so boudin was always my go to for lunch, but this location is superb. They are so quick here. I’m in and out within 3 – 4 minutes usually… perfect since I’m usually hungover and I just want to get back home. I’ve tried the salads and sandwiches and they are just average to me. Nothing wrong if you want a quick sandwich or salad fix, but I only get the soups here. Plus you can’t go wrong with a bread bowl :)

Boudin was a mess today. the heat lamp area was overfilled with food and there were no runners. I overhead employees saying they want to quit. Finally got my sorry grilled cheese sandwich with no greens provided by a lady with attitude.

The brie, apple and fig preserve sandwich has changed my life. Its surved on a multi gran wheat which is ok, but if you can talk them into doing it on sourdough!!! OMG. Not a huge fan of the clam chowder though… very watery

I ate at this location on Tuesday this week and I got a salad and soup. At first I thought it was okay but after eating at the other location by westgate mall this one is horrible. My salad at this location had no dressing and was dry. I had originally thought that this was just the salad but nope I was wrong the westgate location proved that to me. Also my soup was lukewarm… it was much better at westgate… Do yourself a favor and drive a few blocks down this location gets only 2 stars from me. I feel mad I made a mistake to even go to this location I will always go to the westgate boudin from now on. DONOTREPEATMYMISTAKE!!!

Quick and easy. I ordered online and I was in and out within seconds. I ordered half a sandwich(chicken salad) and a soup(thai curry chicken.) Both of them were very delicious! The soup was a pretty big portion and it was so flavorful. I like the fact that they allow you to order online and just come in to pick up. I work about 10mins away and it doesn’t take up anymore of my lunch break.

Ate there around 12:30pm on a Saturday. The place was pretty busy. Food was good. There was plenty of staff. Food arrived at table promptly. I found the food to be uniformly bland. This is why I only give it four stars. I had the soup/sandwich combination(clam chowder and bacon cheese sandwich). I found the presentation and quality to be excellent. Just somewhat bland. The soda was good and I appreciate the fact that they did not scrimp on the amount of syrup delivered in the dispensing of drink. Parking is tough. Noise level is medium, but quite tolerable. I noticed the staff wiping down the tables promptly after people left and that they swept debris on to a tray instead of the floor. Though, to be honest, the floor was a bit dirty. My family liked it a bit better then I did. I would come back without hesitation.

Some of the best sourdough in the Bay Area. As others have noted the parking in this shopping center is terrible. I would recommend parking closer to the bank and walking over. My family waited in line for the grand opening so we have free bread! They are always so nice and slice it for you. If they are out of the 1-lb loafs they will let you substitute! Pro tip: ask them to slice the bread for you.

I’m a huge fan of clam chowder… so I decided to come here one Sunday for some in a bread bowl. I also got a turkey avocado sandwich. Service was quick and efficient, nothing special. Upon receiving the clam chowder, I was really excited. But. sadly. the clam chowder disappointed me. It honestly tasted like canned soup. The sandwich tasted fine. but I honestly could have made it at home for less than half the price. I guess it was my bad for choosing that sandwich though? Sorry, Boudin. I was overexcited then underwhelmed. Maybe next time.

You can always count on Boudin SF to provide you with premium sourdough, and on point excellent service. I really like how roomy this location is. Quite fancy too! I have been to almost all of their locations through out the Bay Area, and the staff have always provided me with excellent service. The staff also makes great recommendations. They have an extensive menu to please every palate, and I suggest taking advantage of their ½ a sandwich, with either a side of fresh fruits, or soup of the day, all for around $ 10. Until then, Cheers! ~ :p
