I love how every review mentions Tyler — but for good reason — the guy is awesome :) Super attentive and responsive; I sent him a message through Unilocal and got a reply within 2 hours. He had the part I needed (my screen was basically shattered) and he did it for me same day. I dropped it off at lunchtime and it was ready by 5 pm.
The price was a bit steep ($ 200 for a Samsung S5 screen replacement) but he was fast and friendly and he did a great job — can’t tell my phone was ever damaged!

I think one of the best service including unlock for iPhone available in Cupertino. He answered all my questions when many of the service provider least bothered to listen to my questions. However he didn’t give false promise that he will be able to unlock my phone.

Tyler the owner helped me resurrect an ancient iphone 3gs with a new battery. It was on a short notice and urgent because I had previously been left in the lurch by an Amazon reseller and I am leaving on travel soon. He was patient and honest with me. While waiting my turn I noticed Tyler being equally helpful to several other customers. He also speaks Mandarin and Cantonese. Thanks to Tyler my iphone 3gs came back from the dead. Miracle worker!

Tyler is the ONLY person I trust with putting screen protectors on my electronic devices! :) I love it here. Customer service is superb, as well.

Tyler runs his own one man show and is doing a great job at it. He’s completely honest and doesn’t use any sly tricks or techniques to gain your business. He values customer service and relationships over business as one time he advised our family to sign up for a plan to get a phone at AT&T because it would be a better deal for us, even though he could have made some $ off of us. He speaks Mandarin really well and will help you get the best deals.

are you serious that this place has a 4star ranking? I bought a 2011 Samsung phone here last year, and this phone even wasn’t a smart phone and he charged me 200dollars.
It takes two weeks to get this phone. I found that this phone was from HongKong. I doubt that this phone is not fake. Because I found the phone is re-​organized. And this phone lost power very soon. If you dont want to waste your money, don’t go there. I would rather buy on Amazon.

He’s running a one-​man show so its best to catch him when no one else is in the store other wise it could possibly be a while before he can get to you. But you can clearly tell he’s working hard and fast and he truly cares.
I’ve brought my phone in twice for a cracked screen. I called around different stores to get quotes and ask a couple simple questions and even just talking on the phone to some of these stores they act like they are doing me a favor. When I called Cell Fone I could tell Tyler had great costumer service and he seemed very honest and upfront. I extremely appreciate that. Also the rates/​prices here are VERY competitive. The last time I brought my Samsung Galaxy SIII in to fix the screen it was $ 79 out the door (I used the Unilocal discount). On top of that he gives you a pretty accurate quote time on how long your item will take to be fixed.
I could bring my business elsewhere, somewhere closer to home or work but because he seems to have good character, great prices, and good work ethics so I will be a repeat costumer and recommend my friends over his way!

I went in today to get a little information on mobile plans. Tyler was incredibly informative, made sure to answer all of my questions and lay out all of my options. I have been in a lot of places before and It was really refreshing to receive this quality of customer service. If I ever need a new plan or a repair on my phone I will certainly be back! Plus they take Fivestars now so I get rewarded for shopping there which is awesome.

Just came in today around 6:50pm, not knowing the place was going to close, and was just going to come in and ask for a price quote already not having expectations (because of being high-​balled at «Phone Serivce Repair» on homestead by someone who didn’t even bother looking at the actual condition of my phone). I was greeted in proffesionally and sold rghit away. Tyler ended up staying overtime to finish my phone, and finished it under an hour (fastest turnover time for a phone repair I’ve ever heard), and if that isn’t excellent customer service then I don’t know what is. He also directed me to sign onto Unilocal with his computer right away as he started on my phone for the $ 20 voucher. Total for a repair (and he even threw in a FREE screen protector retailing at $ 12.99j was slightly under $ 77 for a brand new looking S3. Totally worth it compared to the $ 130 for just a screen replace, emt, and $ 180 for the, to «fix the sensors» (which weren’t even broken evidently upon Tyler’s amazing repair). Highly recommended.

We knew Tyler through friends of ours. We loved Tyler’s service! He’s very knowledgeable about cell phones as a lot of people mentioned. He always let us know when there is difficulty to solve our problems, but most of the time, he provides great solutions for us to meet our needs. So far, we have great experiences doing business with him. We’ve recommended Tyler’s services to some of our friends. Everyone loves his service!

The replaced screen works like a new one.

I took the car in to have a timing belt — no not to the cell phone store! Sheesh! Then, I had to buy tires the next day, and on the way there there was a puddle of power steering fluid in the garage. After the tires I had to get a new power steering pump back at the original garage. The old Motorola Droid phone became insane and stopped talking to itself and anybody else too the next day! I went to Cell Fone and they showed me exactly the phone I wanted and were a Page Plus Cellular dealer too for my $ 29/​mo talk and data plan on Verizion. It would take three days to get the phone from Verizion though.
That night at dinner with a friend the car died and a transmission warning message came on! It ran, poorly, and I used my friend’s phone to call a tow truck. Driving home without a cell phone was not a bright idea, luck was not anticipated at this time! Back to the F-​ing garage. I rode my bike over to talk to them the next day, no phone remember, and on the way home a spoke broke! (I knew that this was the last problem, really, I did…)
The car was only a bad ignition coil on #2 cylinder! Yay! I got the car back.
The phone came in to Cell Fone on a Saturday, but I could not call Page Plus to activate it with my old number from the crazy phone. The owner of Cell Fone called Page Plus for me using his dealer ID, at no charge, and the phone was activated in 5 minutes with no issues. The phone is great and Performance Bicycling shop in San Jose will fix the spoke on warranty for me — they are great too.
So, if you need a cell phone and a non-​nonsense store with great selection and service for any phone plan go to Cell Fone in Cupertino. It was a pleasure to deal with them and I would send anybody there to get a phone or sign up for a reseller plan like Page Plus — they are also a dealer for T-​Mobile and other plans too.

Tyler knows a LOT about the different cellphone plans by all the different carriers. Much better than going to a carrier store, which gives incomplete and biased information. He has all the brochures for info, and can give you a price comparison for all the different plans.
I broke my HTC Amaze screen, and after calling a few cellphone repair stores, Tyler was by far the most knowledgable and helpful in giving me a cheap price estimate (~$ 30-​$ 50 cheaper than what other stores offered) for replacing the screen and did so.
Only reason I gave 4 stars, is after fixing the phone the speaker had a problem, so I was scared it was broken in the screen replacement process. Brought it in the next day, and it got fixed up and works perfectly now. Just a small worry/​hassle to wish he could have fixed it right the first time.

I went in a few days back to get my Samsung Galaxy S3’s cracked screen replaced. Tyler did a pretty good job of it within 2 hours…
There are a few tiny crumbs under the glass, although I don’t really mind them given that the glass was pretty badly shattered from three different edges with a lot of shards (They were just hanging in there thanks to the screen protector.)
Overall, I am pretty happy with the service. :)

I accidentally wrote my review in the tips section. To sum it the owner is an honest, helpful and humble guy! He helped and offered advice with an emergency situation I had. I definitely trust him and well be back again.

I want to give zero star, but i can’t! This business owner is dishonest! I will never do business with him again! Everything out of his mouth is a lie!!! I pay 30 dollars more for my cell phone from him than the regular merchant! really mad, and i feel like, i got rip off!

I have had nothing but the best service from this shop.
Not only has he helped me and my family with every cell phone purchase but Tyler has gone out of his way to repair phones and even has given us a loaner phone when we needed one.
Highly reccomend them

Before you buy anything here, you should compare prices with other merchants first.
This place tried to sell us a shoddy knockoff cell phone case for $ 25.
We found the real McCoy on Amazon for $ 16.
