This is a pretty nice park. A lot of play equipment for kids and a nice field for athletic play. My girlfriend and I went for a walk during my lunch break to enjoy yet another beautiful California day.

I come here to have dance sessions and practices with friends. It has a shade area and flat concrete which makes it easy to dance, a little slippery, but still. Also, good for jogging and playing soccer. love this place

I actually went to the elementary school that Cupertino demolished to build Creekside, yeah, much better choose. Anyways, that being said, I’ve lived here since Creeksides birth and it hasn’t changed much. It’s your basic park. Soccer fields(two), baseball cage thing but not bases or dirt or pitching mound. Great if you want to gently hit a few balls, but not for a game or anything else really. The playground is pretty good. Its good everything and its a good size too. Two half-court basketball courts that were built by people without common sense. Let’s see, we live in the Northern Hemisphere. That means that, for 365 days, if you look southward, you’ll be staring at the sun, especially so in winter. But, when you play basketball, you’ve also got to look up. So, that being said, unless it is before 8am or after 8pm, you have to look into the sun to shoot the ball. Pretty stupid, considering that is really the only place to play ball during the middle of the day during a school year. They could have thought that through, but then again, good enough for government work. The southern field, like the northern, has a concrete path about a quarter of a mile long and almost square. However, its not great for walking at night since the entire western portion is not lit. Im too lazy to write letters and complain, it would probably take 5 years to get fixed anyways. The parking is good surprisingly, I’ve always had a lot of choices as to where to park, even during soccer games. It is also a fairly safe park. I used to go there late at night(cough cough ughmmmm, yeah) and a Sheriff would almost always drive in, check it out with a spotlight, and drive away. Kinda scary when your smok… um nevermind. Good park. Kinda sad when you think about it, we tear down the trees and nature that was here, then build parks… huh…could have saved millions of dollars by just not tearing down all the trees. Ever been to Washington? It works for them.

If you play soccer in the West Valley, you are probably familiar with Creekside Park, because it’s primarily a soccer park. I like it for the playgrounds though. The one designed for 2 – 5 year-olds is perfect. It’s got swings, a little play structure and sand with a little play digger to sit on and operate. The whole area is fenced in and shady. This park is also a great place for kiddy bike riding, rollerblading and scootering because it’s got a nice big paved loop for them to strengthen their wheel skills. The bathrooms are new and clean. There’s a little party space you can rent for parties that’s quite nice. The playground for bigger kids includes some basketball nets too.
