This is a great place to go to and the selection of beer is excellent. Ken is a great bar tender and the prices are fair.

They pour a lot more alcohol than any other bar that I’ve went to. I watched the bartender pour 4⁄5 gin and the rest tonic, and all other drinks too. The drinks are really strong. And the best part is that it’s so cheap! $ 4 for a drink. If you want a Vegas bomb, it’s $ 7. When I bought two drinks, the price came out to $ 8. I thought it was $ 8 for one drink until the bartender said its for both the drinks. Needless to say, this is my favorite bar. The atmosphere is chill too. Definitely will be a regular here! Bye Dave and busters and tequila shots, it’s worth the drive from San Jose to go here

This place is small so expect shoulder to shoulder personal space when it gets packed. Cool little bar that has popcorn for drunk-chies. It’s self serve which is cool but a little too tacky for me. Other than that really good atmosphere and the drink selection is pretty diverse. No modelos to my knowledge but lagunitas will suffice! Parking is a bit tricky since the lot is so small – I parked down the street in the neighborhood.

I wish I could live down the street from this place for the rest of my life, but then I would definitely have a drinking problem. It gets a little too crowded on weekends and special events. Staff is always a good time! Minus the country music, I could hang out here for hours. Not to mention, decent prices on alcohol. For a true Paul & Eddie’s experience, I highly recommend spinning the wheel!

Total local hole in the wall/dive bar. Thanks for our bartender at the hotel, she told us about this place. We chatted up some of the locals for a while and sadly, for me, I got housed. Not a good idea when you’re on a work trip. Luckily, most of my work days started in the afternoon. If you also get housed while here, please check out breakfast place down the road. It’s super filling and what hangover dream breakfasts are made of.

Came in here while visiting some friends a few days ago. I was treated to one of the best bar experiences I’ve ever had. For starters, the prices. In an area where EVERYTHING is overpriced, this place is wonderfully affordable. I got plenty of mini pints for only $ 5, and more than a few shots without breaking the bank. They even have a shotski! Which I most certainly tried. The atmosphere and décor are great too. They have decorated dollar bills plastered all over the walls, and plenty of darts and pool tables to keep you and your friends occupied. It also has an awesome open feeling to it, with a patio area(that does allow smoking), and doors everywhere that are wide open. This helps to make a packed bar feel less crowded. I loved it. The staff was friendly and incredibly personable too. Also very quick, I never had to wait for a drink. There’s also free popcorn. Which makes for the greatest drunk snack ever. I will most certainly be back when I’m in town.

First dive bar experience in Cupertino and truly a unique experience in such a suburban area. It’s pretty typical dive bar in terms of the atmosphere and people who are there, though probably on the younger side. One notable aspect is that there are actually dollar bills taped all around the building with people’s names signed to each one. I think part of that may be due to the pricing of the pool table which is a dollar a game. Seems pretty historic and cool. They also have a couple of free snacks in the back tables. I wasn’t sure if it was a special occasion but it’s a nice touch. My friends bought a blue moon and I believe the pricing was pretty decent(around $ 4 bucks). Pool tables are a little bit too close together so you have to be careful you don’t poke anyone with the pool sticks when there are people playing at both. My friends and I had a great time though, and people are generally nice about using the tables if they see someone else who is interested.

I came here last week while on a bar hop spree to watch the Giants game. This place aint too shabby! Nothing incredibly amazing stood out, but I wasn’t here for very long, so I will definately update my review upon coming back here. The service was fair, and the prices were as well. It was really crowded, so seating is very limited. They do have some pool tables which is cool, and plenty of televisions as well, so even though we stood, we still had a good view of the game. Overall; fair prices, fair service, a fair 3 stars

Home away from home. There is nothing in the saratoga/Cupertino area that even competes with good ol’ P&E. Best dive bar I’ve ever known. Free popcorn, cheap beer, and a mellow atmosphere. Oh yeah they have darts/pool/etc too. Mhmmhmmmhmmmhmmm I love this bar!

I love this place!!! Free popcorn when you’re drunk??? Yes please! ! The ambiance at this place is super relaxed and laid back. There’s a couple of pool tables, a dart board and a jukebox. Every time I come here the staff is super friendly and inviting! I love coming here and showing friends the dollar bills covered walls. The whole concept is really fun!!! I always have a good time coming here! Anddd I always nice to see familiar faces.

This was my first dive bar experience back home in Cupertino/San Jose. My friend had been back from Philly for the week and this was the bar we had always been driving by ever since we were young kids. We always talked about how when we were legal we would check this place out and finally we were both home at the same time(which doesn’t occur too many times), and legal! So naturally, our hangout plan was to come here. I went inside, and it was like any other dive bar, but at the same time, it wasn’t. I think because this is more of a local/community bar, you see all types of people. There were people that were dressed up, people that seemed like they just came to the bar after a game of tennis, and just the average Joes(that was me :)) The bartenders are very friendly and so are the people at the bar. I didn’t know anyone besides the people I went with, but it seemed like there were a lot of regulars that knew each other. I enjoyed all the signed dollar bills that were posted literally all over the walls and ceilings. Okay but the best part is the free popcorn. I actually hate popcorn, especially the ones at the movie theaters but somehow they paired very well with beer. Surprise surprise? I don’t know but who cares?! It was delicious and I could not stop grabbing for more. Good thing it’s free :) A Blue Moon was $ 4.50, which actually was cheaper than I thought it would be. They have an awesome variety of drinks so you most likely will not be disappointed! I probably will be back here, since it’s also so close to home!

As if free popcorn isn’t enough to come back over and over again! This place is the best bar! The bartenders are usually very generous with their pours and they have a shotski. Unfortunately they will usually only let you take jäger out of the shot ski but it might be worth it. Theres a good jukebox, pool, darts, and tv. It always attracts a very interesting crowd as well. Two things to keep in mind-1. They are cash only and, 2. The cops sometimes lurk around the bar so if you drive drunk that’s pretty stupid.

Pretty sure Paul and Eddies was rated the BEST bar in Silicon Valley by one of the local papers or city guides(and it’s no doubt the best bar in Cupertino). But if that’s not a good enough reason to come, let me give you a few more: — FREE delicious, hot, buttery, popcorn — Bartenders are the coolest. — Legit dive bar with super eclectic décor AND patrons — $ 20 goes a LONG way. — Drinks are stiff and delicious. — Pool and darts. — Potluck style eats on game day. — Cash only, but their ATM fee is only $ 1.75. — Cool local /community vibe thats always friendly and welcoming to anyone who stops by. Lets be honest, this place is like my second home. Cheers to 70 more years, P&Es! I’ll see you in church ;-)

Hooray! I won ROTD in the Peninsula region today! Check it out:
One of my personal ROTD traditions is to go for a hike when I win, and now I’ve found the perfect bar in Cupertino to stop at afterwards. When I was fortunate enough to win my ROTD in March, it had been a particularly long day and I was really in the mood for a cold one when I got back to the trail head. I consulted the Unilocal app, and Paul & Eddie’s looked like just the ticket. With HH draft beers for $ 3, and free popcorn that’s salty, warm, and instantly addictive, this awesome dive bar is one of my new favorite post-hiking destinations! On my first visit, I consulted one of the bartenders about whether they had Harp Lager on tap — I saw that they had Guinness Stout, and I was craving a Black and Tan to pair with popcorn. They have Harp in bottles only, so he made me a quasi-Black and Tan with Mirror Pond Pale Ale. It did the job of cutting through the salt from the popcorn and the dust from Rancho San Antonio perfectly :-) The prices are good, the bartenders are friendly, the drink pours are generous, and the place has got a great vibe. If you want to hang out here for a while, there are also a couple of pool tables and a dartboard. Within spitting distance of 85(just off the De Anza Blvd exit), this bar is easy to find, and it’s usually packed with a good cross-section of dive-bar denizens by dinnertime. Unfortunately there’s no food served beyond the popcorn, but life is imperfect.

I have been spending a lot of time here recently. Our work office just moved and this is by far the closest bar, dive be it may. I think we end up going here on a weekly basis. What’s great is that the people are friendly, the beers on tap for a pint are $ 3 and they have free fresh popcorn in the back. Love all the details with the walls plastered in dollar bills, taxidermy on the walls, the digital juke box by which the manager came by one day and put in 10 bucks and let us pick music out of. Right around 4−7pm on a normal weeknight it’s filled with coworkers, and even the strangers are friendly. Best part yet? They open at 10am. Great watering hole, I’ll definitely be back, often. P. S. It’s cash only. Great story where my coworker was trying to be super generous and buy us all around only to find he had only 5 bucks in his pocket.

This is THE dive bar of Cupertino. From the outside, it looks like a red barn, upon entering its like a whole different world. In this winter season, they put up rainbow christmas lights that makes the place glow. They have signed dollar bills all over the place from long lasting and new patrons. The amenities: They have 2 billiards tables and they’re free to play before 3pm OR I think its a dollar per game. They also have electronic darts which I believe is 75 cents per game. There is a jukebox with a huge variety of songs, and you WILL hear a variety of songs. You’ll get some harder rock, to soft rock, to old school pop, to electronica, to top 40, to country; it just depends on the crowd. Last night, I walked in around 1am and heard them play justin bieber’s «baby», and then after that was spice girls«Wannabe»; In prior times, the most surprising song I heard played was Alice DeeJay’s «Better off Alone» I think the best thing about this place is the delicious and FREE self-serve popcorn hidden in the corner. The popcorn it just soooo good and super addicting! Can’t help myself… every single time. Some days, when I haven’t eaten dinner yet and I swing by for a drink… I end up eating way too much popcorn to kill my appetite. As for the drinks, the bartenders are great, they’re friendly, and they are pretty quick with getting drinks out. They are super cheap. They have pints, half pitchers, full pitchers of beer and regular and standard selection of beer on tap. They have some bottled ciders, and a full bar.(4.50 for shots of Jäger, 3 – 4 dollar per pint of beer if I remember correctly… depending on the kind of beer). On certain nights, this place gets ridiculously packed. They have very limited seating and have an outdoor patio in the back for smoking. They have TVs out there to, so if you’re watching the game inside, you can always go to the back to smoke and continue watching the game out there. Other nights and during the day, this place is fairly empty, but they have their regulars… the elder crowd who pretty much live there. Highly recommended. There are only 2 bars in the area and this is one of them. Definitely a place to check out and you might end up loving this place. This place has good vibes all around, I’ll be back for sure!
