Real authentic Egyptian street food with very good quality. Very nice menu and it has all Egyptian food only. Didn’t try their fteer but saw Hima(owner) is making one from scratch and it was excellent. Tried Alexandrian Lever(kebda Iskandrany) and Sausages(sogo2 balady) and they were perfect!!! Will go one time for fteer then take the gang there on a weekend. I recommend this place during Ramadan as the atmosphere will be nice and food will be home-made Egyptian: Molkhia, bamia, …

Impressive taste. Worth the wait. Sahalab is amazing. Tea with mint is strong. Eggplant with Vinegar & garlic is very tasty. Pastrami Feteer is very good. Expect the food to take 30 – 45 minutes to come(more if you have a large party or order many dishes). So not a good choice if I’m in a hurry.

I went to Pita & Salt for lunch with 2 other friends. We all ordered different food(liver, sausage, hawawshi, and fried eggplant). They were all TERRIBLE! Both plates had a %40 food and %60 oil ratio. Food was literally swimming in oil. Speaking of which the server(and the cook) managed to spill oil on my and my friends’ pants. None of the food you see in their pics that are posted by the restaurant represent what the food actually look like. They are all taken from somewhere else. Last but not least, fried eggplant never showed up.

Excellent little place off the beaten track. I found out about this place through a Groupon. There was absolutely no issues redeeming, and I was treated like any other non-coupon redeeming customer. The pastrami fateer was so delicious, and made fresh to order! I also had a fresh mango juice, which was very refreshing on a hot day. A lot of the other Egyptian street food menu items sound really good as well, so I’ll be back to try more!

Best shawerma you can get in this area by far, and for a good price! The meat is fresh unlike other places who serve food that has been sitting for hours. Owner is very friendly and makes everything how you like it. Quality hookah as well, which goes great with the food.

Super authentic really quality food. I had the falafel and it was huge, I could only eat half of it for one person. The tahini sauce is fresh and everything is made to order. You can bring your own beer or wine here, or they have smoothies and sodas to drink. I ended with a lemon mint hookah. You can have tobacco or tobacco free flavors. I would def recommend finding this hidden gem and spending the time to try what they offer.

Quaint spot tucked away in a corner. It was nice to have great food just a few minutes away from Sunnyvale R&G. Usually I get convenience food for lunch when I visit Sunnyvale R&G, so it’s nice to have some quality sustenance so close. The gentlemen staffing the place, Ibrahim?, was very friendly and courteous. He was able to whip-up a gluten-free alternative for my cousin. We went with his suggestions of the Alexandrian Liver, Egyptian Sausages, Fool and Cream & Honey Feteer. These turned out to be excellent suggestions! The flavors were strong and my belly full. I’m happy! Unfortunately it is as others have said, small. The place won’t be able to accommodate more than 10. It only has a few bistro tables. I’ll revisit next time i’m in the neighborhood.

The owner is a very very kind and spiritual man. He is also incredibly smart. I’ve come here some nights when I’ve had a hard day at school/work and he will sit and talk to you. Offer amazing insight. This place is my hidden treasure.

Tried the Feteer, Kunafa, Falafel, and more. Very tasty food!(Can’t wait to get back). Highly affordable. Nice service — although it can get a bit slow, the wait is worth it.

Heeka Hookah(what it was called when I last went) serves great hookah. The shop itself is super cute and the guy serving us, Ibrahim I believe, was super nice. The place is really small and can get tight if it gets busy. There really isn’t a special ambiance about this place. It’s locating in an odd area where it was hard to locate with GPS. Inside, it felt like we were smoking hookah inside of Jamba Juice. Speaking of drinks, they’re pretty good. I’m not sure if they were short staffed the day we went but the drinks took forever to come out. I’d definitely give this place another try if I’m ever in the area to smoke hookah.

Amazing place. Just has fetter dessert. Hookah and sahlab. Going home happy. The fetter was hand tossed and made fresh. I ordered the cream and honey. It just melts in your mouth. I am glad I found this place. Going to a regular

Authentic Egyptian food, made fresh on order. Fetter/Egyptian pie is so good and the only place I know of around here that makes it. Delicious Belgian waffles. Real smoothie bar, ask for any mix of the available fruits!

I started working as a temp at ups and stop next door to heat up my lunch. I forgot my lunch one day and decided to stop to get a bite. This place is awesome. My first time eating here I got a falafel pita and was amazing. Second I got a beef shwarma and again amazing. I’ll be coming here every time I have a craving for Egyptian street food.

Been hearing about this place for the last couple of weeks, so today finally I decided to give it a try. We were a large group, and the place was tiny, but we managed to all fit in after moving the tables and chairs. And the people there were very friendly and accommodating for us. Excellent service! Then, the food… definitely the best Egyptian food I’ve ever eaten anywhere outside of Egypt. Very authentic, very tasty, and you can tell it’s freshly cooked. The portions are good, and the prices are very reasonable. Since we were a large group, we ordered a lot of items and shared… all of the items we ordered were amazing. Particularly the liver(kebda), and the feteer with sausage. Those are two of my favorite Egyptian street foods, and they did not disappoint! Honorable mentions include the feteer with basterma, the shawerma, the stuffed falafel, and the mango juice. We stayed there for over 3 hours, and there were no one else there besides our group. The atmosphere is very friendly, with Egyptian music playing in the background, and the staff was very welcoming and kind. We all went home full! I will definitely go there again! The place could use some improvement on the layout and seating though. But given it’s only been there for a short time, I’m sure they will grow.

What can I say, they have kebda and feteer. Shawarma is good. If you’re going with a big party, better call ahead with your order so they can prepare. Amazing taste and atmosphere.

This place is amazing, they just started; although you cannot smoke hookah before 5 because of California regulations, the food and the coffee out of charts. This is real easter place. The cook is amazing prices are very good and location is ok. They have a lot of things to improve in the looks but the quality of the service is amazing !

Two days ago I went there and tried an item from their new menu. «Fteer bel Basterma». A pie made from a flaky buttery dough stuffed with this Egyptian style dried salty meat and cheese and veggies. Being an Egyptian, I know what this pie is supposed to taste like and oh my god I was not disappointed! It was as if I was back home eating it at one of my favorite spots in Alexandria. The whole menu now has famous Egyptian street food items which I am so thrilled about. Faten the cook is such a warm person and an excellent cook. Oh she also gave me a sample of the«Beleela» to try which is a type of grain cooked in milk and sweetened. We usually eat it during the winter months to warm up. It was heavenly good and not too sweet. Just like my mom and grand mother made them. I highly recommend this place for our Egyptian folks who miss home and all the good food and also everyone else who would like to experience Egyptian street fair.

Amazing hookah spot — really great authentic Egyptian/middle eastern food. The staff was really friendly and approachable — recommend the mango Kanafa and the beef kofta as well. You can tell the food was made fresh and of high standard. Quiet spot as well, and one of the only places I know in the South Bay where u can smoke hookah outside. :) definitely one to visit.

Went for a smoothy, won’t go back. How in the world do you mix healthy drinks with a smoke shop? Almost choked from the smell of stale smoke while waiting for drink to be mixed. Smoothy was ok, but nothing special.

BECAREFUL! The location is wrong on the map, the place is in Cupertino as said in the address. We still decided to go with my friend and there was absolutely no one, on a Saturday night, the place is LOST, there is almost nothing around, just houses. Not going back sorry

At first i thought it’s a hookah lounge, I called asked how long they are open for, and they told me it’s only online business and they rent hookahs for individuals and groups !! So I rented one hookah for the four of us and we smoked at home, it was great ! We drank, atr and smoked hookah as we wanted ! They delivered and picked up ! I like it more than hookah lounges now !

AMAZING! The husband and I were having some friends over and he suggested we try The Hookah App. The website they have is really user friendly and detail oriented. On the day of the party, Ibrahim arrived on time and stayed professional and was very knowledgable. You could tell his business was really driven by his passion. The mixes he created were SOMETHINGELSE. We tried the double appe, lemon mint, white peach and tangerine. It was really hard to pick a favorite but if you’re ever unsure or a newbie, just ask Ibrahim for an honest opinion and he’ll recommend something very versatile in taste. The quality of the hookah itself was magnificent. I didn’t miss the loud music, stinky burnt couches, and the crap service that I frequently witness at hookah lounges. Best part? The PRICE! They’re very well priced and for once, I felt like I was getting more than what I paid for. A few of my friends are cigarette smokers so hookah just wouldn’t cut it. Ibrahims business also delivers cigs! Check em out, D’uh!
