The boba here is decent. I like that you can customize the sugar levels and ice levels in each drink. I ordered the earl grey milk tea with pearls. Even though I asked for the lowest amount of sugar, it was still pretty sweet. I still miss Verde boba, which was the boba place before super cue café took over :/

This is my favorite place for crispy chicken! You get actual chicken unlike other places and you can adjust the seasoning. I also like all of the tea choices. My favorites are osmanthus, hojicha, and jasmine. Their pearls are also very soft. There are tables and outlets so it’s a good place for studying but it does get loud when there are a lot of people.

This placed used to be Verde but for some reasons they are closed now. Since it’s a new store, my friend and I decided to come here and give it a shot. When you first walk into the store, you would be surprised about the environment. They are trying make the environment as classy as they can. The light is on a more dim side and the furniture gives out a warm feeling. They also provided free wifi which it’s good since I don’t really get signal in the store for some reason. You also do not need to spend over certain amount of balance to have a sit. I feel like they are trying to imitate the Starbucks’ environment, and i think they did a pretty good job. Since it’s pretty chill and relax when you set inside the store. As for their tea, I think it’s alright. My friend have the osmanthus milk tea with pudding. She complaints the osmanthus flavor is not strong enough. But other than that, she thinks the tea is pretty okay. As for me, I ordered a Macha milk latte. Instead of calling it latte, i would said this is just a milk tea Macha drink. I asked for a drink with less sweet and hot. The drink itself it okay. The match is from powder and you cannot really taste the actual macha flavor but more of a powdery taste. At least that is my experience. As for the service, the servers are all super professional and friendly. They explained everything in details, which is pretty rare when it comes to this type of store. Overall I would said give this place a try if you are every closed by. The environment is nice and you probably can study here. It is also a kids friendly store so don’t be afraid about bring your youngster here.

$ 4 for gritty jasmine mt with grass jelly not worth it. I asked for it hot, which I got. Problem is the gritty texture I got and it wasn’t that hot. Free wifi here, but it really sucks. Nothing much to say, I still prefer black pearl on piedmont. Btw if you want wingstop, they’re gone. Pros: Little sweet was a good level Friendly people Cons: Gritty Expensive Not hot

Service is awesome. Great atmosphere. Tea is great! Lots of choices ranging from fresh brewed to instant with good flavor options. Don’t sleep on the food choices either. My gf and I frequent a lot of Tea houses in the area and we like to order a snack along with our tea. Super Cue has some of the best popcorn chicken around! They’ve also got pretty bomb fries, and their Ramen isn’t too shabby either. Recommended!

I have only ordered through a delivery service, so I cannot comment on décor, customer service, or wait time. What I can say is that they always get my drink orders correct and my crispy chicken is consistently seasoned perfectly. The ability to completely customize your drink is great and the consistency on their end ensures you get exactly what you want. So far, they haven’t messed up.

Tip — if you want a stronger tea flavor, ask for less sweet and request«strong tea flavor»(I didn’t know you could ask for this until the cashier recommended it!) Pros: — sparse setup makes the whole place seem much less cramped than the way Verde was — the display of teas by the counter really sells their teaspresso drinks(real tea!) — good variety in tea flavors — they typically have a sampler, so you can try out new flavors before making an order — it’s nice that boba is only 40 cents instead of the usual 50 at other places — they use FiveStar so put in your phone number to earn points! — food/snacks are pretty good! Sweet potato fries were covered in sugar crystals and super good! The super boxes are cute combos of snacks like crispy chicken(has basil leaves!!) and fried tofu. We also tried the tonkotsu ramen, which was so-so for $ 8.50, not bad and had 3 pieces of meat, but nothing spectacular. The super boxes and the snacks are what I would recommend. :) Cons: — coffee jelly was gross, so I don’t recommend it — service can be really slow(they messed up one of my drinks and I had to wait for them to wrap up 3 other orders before they remade my drink) — iced milk drinks are rather bland but economical given that you get a lot of toppings in it — super milky drinks are cool because there’s panna cotta, but it’s overpriced Overall, it’s a conveniently located boba place as I often stop by either after watching a movie at AMC across the street or after eating at Gyukaku right next door. Parking becomes problematic on weekends, but it’s a big plaza so you can always wait on people coming and going from Marukai/Daiso. They don’t quite replace Verde as a food place, but it’s a great place to get a boba fix and/or a cheap meal :)

Super cue, is SUPER cute! I happened to stumble on this place tonight because its the few places that is opened. It’s located where the old Verde use to be. Super Cue is spacious, and their tea doesn’t taste like it’s going to give you a slow death. It taste like REAL tea. Prices are affordable, and you can adjust your sugar levels as well as ice levels. Tea menu is excellent, but wish they had more items on their food menu. I ordered the teriyaki chicken, the chicken was pretty good, so was the rice and veggies… But there was way to much sauce. That was a little overkill.

The only times I really go to super cue is when I eat at the plaza or when I’m very close by. I would never drive out of my way for it but I got to say some drinks here are in fact pretty good indeed. I want to say the milky mango aka #2 on the special menu is something to try. It has a strong flavor of mango for all those mango lovers and some sort of creamy pudding in it that makes it like a milkshake taste. I’ve tasted the pearl oolong milk tea which is pretty good, Very oolong/flowery taste. The atmosphere is chill and spacious and it’s a great addition to any meal especially if you’re already in the plaza. Parking should be sufficient as well. I shall try other items on the menu. OR I might just have to stick with the milky mango trend. Good Stuff, Good stuff!

I would only get this if I’m in the area. It’s good, but the flavor isn’t something I’d crave. I’ve tried their #1 drink which is the peach oolong tea. I’ve had this several times with and without milk. I prefer it with milk because it tones down the peach flavor. The peach flavor is usually very strong and the drink itself tastes like trolli peach rings. It took me several sips to actually like it. Another one of their top drinks was their milky mango(something like that). If you like iced milk and mango, try this out. It’s basically iced milk at the bottom and mango at the top. The mango part tastes like mango pudding. Quite an interesting drink cus I’ve never tried anything like it. The place is very clean itself. Never really have to wait in line. They do provide wi-fi inside which is especially useful for those who have AT&T because you get absolutely no service in here! Necessary for dat Unilocal check-in, yknow?

This Super Cue is in the old Verde location, and I’d say they use the space much better than Verde did. The store itself is pretty roomy and has quite a few tables of open seating. I am an absolute boba addict and come to this location frequently to get my fix of peach oolong tea with crystal boba. Super Cue is one of the few places that have crystal boba, and I would say that once you’ve had it, you’ll be coming back for it again and again. I’m the type of boba drinker where I go to different stores for different types of drinks depending on my mood, so If I’m in the creamy mood, I’ll usually go to TeaTop or Verde. When I go to Super Cue, I love to get their light teas since I find them more refreshing and they feel a bit healthier. You can also customize your drink and choose how sweet you would like it. The service here has always been pretty good, and they are quick to get your drink orders out to you.

The interior of Super Cue Café was very clean, brightly lit, and welcoming. Also, the staff was very friendly and accommodating as well — they even offered to change the sweetness level of my drink if necessary. Customer service and ambiance was definitely on point here. However, I was not close to impressed with the drink that I ordered at Super Cue Café earlier today, which was a simple Peach Milk Tea. Instead, I should have ordered from their«Top 10 drinks» menu, but wanted to try something new. Although the sweetness of my drink was apparent, the entire flavor altogether wasn’t very satisfying. They use syrup for their milk teas, and I felt that it just had a very bland taste that did not taste refreshing at all. Unfortunately, I will probably not come back here, at least for the drinks.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon to try this place out. This place took place of the Verde Tea Café. I am so sad that place left. Interior was nice and decorated for Halloween. It was very spacious and contained several small tables for people to eat their snacks and just enjoy the drink. I didn’t know what to get after viewing their variety of drinks so I chose a drink off their top 10 popular drinks. I got a passion fruit green tea with aloe toppings. It was pretty good if you like a stronger tea flavor. It wasn’t too sweet. I would have preferred it to be a bit sweeter. This was with regular sweetness too. If you are ever in the area, check this place out. Some people may like the strong tea flavor. so this may be for you!

Giving them«1» star due to their poor customer service. I came in on Thursday(10.8.15) during my lunch break cause I work around the area. This was actually The first time I’ve come in & the cashier rolled her eyes at me after she’d asked me what kind of ‘topping’ I wanted w/my Milk Tea — I responded with ‘oh, I just want boba.’ She perched her lips, rolled her eyes & said ‘THAT’s a topping’(in a very ‘what are you stupid?’ Kind of tone). Boba sinks to the bottom of your cup — am I wrong? So, how is that a ‘topping’? But anyhow, I received my drink and went about my day. The Assam Milk Tea was the best I’ve had considering the many other boba shops I’ve been to. Please know, I’m not one of those people who knows or understands the ins & outs of how to order drinks at these Boba shops — I’m more of a coffee drinker but their service, no matter what kind of establishment it is, is rude! The next visit was even better! A young gentleman(10.9.15) was working the counter. Brought a co-worker with me this time just so he could see if I was really crazy(or over-exaggerating) about the service. I grabbed a few drinks this time cause some folks at the office were also craving some boba. I’d ordered the Passion Iced Tea & the cashier asked, ‘black, green or —?’(Sorry, couldn’t hear the last one since their music was blasting). I replied, «Sorry, what was that?» The cashier then pointed at the menu above him & snapped«BLACK, GREENOR — ?! THEREAREDIFFERENTKINDS!» My co-worker looked at me with a shocking look on his face like, ‘damn, you weren’t kidding.‘ These kids working the counter need to be trained. They’re SO rude. Luckily there’s another location in Fremont WITHBETTERSERVICE so I don’t have to come here anymore.

Pros Crispy chicken super box: the Taiwanese popcorn chicken was okay; however, the cubed rice was bomb! They season their rice with seaweed flakes and sesame seeds and they slightly grill it at the end. Peach Oolong Tea: it’s a very good drink if you enjoy a more bitter taste. Just get it with 50% or lower sweetness and no need for milk. Cons Tonkotsu Ramen: the broth was super bland in terms of taste and it was really watery where I prefer a thicker consistency of ramen broth. The noodles were also overdone. Assam Milk Tea: the overall drink was a major disappointment. I wish they would have steeped their assam black tea longer cause my drink tasted watered down even though I customized it with less ice.

Pretty good, with a strong tea flavor. I can’t stand drinks which are mostly made of syrup and sugar, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found Super Cue’s peach oolong tea(less sweet) to almost have too strong of a tea flavor. They use these«teapresso» machines, which is what I’m guessing allows them to bring the tea fast and strong. The downside is you can taste the bitterness of the tannins. Guess this will be one place I ask for regular sweetness. They also have food, which is a plus. The fried chicken super box was basically popcorn chicken with rice and a smattering of cabbage. I do like that they make their rice into little cubes mixed with seaweed seasoning; almost feels like I’m eating little mini onigiris! At around $ 6 each, a reasonable deal. Would be nice if they gave some actual vegetables or side dishes like the box sets at Tea Era. Also has free wifi! There’s a promotion currently running until the end of the month: buy 1 drink and get 1 free topping, buy 2 drinks and get 1 free, and buy 3 drinks and get one order of super fries free! Will definitely add this place to the boba mothership rotation.

Friendly staff! I go to the Fremont location frequently and will definitely stop by here when I’m in the area. I was not disappointed when I walked in and ordered my usual iced caramel milk with grass jelly and egg pudding(no boba for me). The employees are energetic and fun to talk to. They definitely cleaned the place up after Verde closed; it’s larger and has this cool welcoming vibe. I went in around 4:30pm to order when barely anyone was there and came back at 7:30 to buy my sis a drink. Major difference because it was packed! Fortunately, they have plenty of tables and seats. I was tempted to get some snacks like popcorn chicken or calamari– smelled so good! They’re so high tech; when you pay by card they use a tablet like I’ve seen at Ice Box and Cako for you to sign. There’s a no tip option just in case you’re not feeling that generous, but their staff is awesome so why not? Free wifi if you check in! Five stars rewards! Milk tea samples at the front counter

Sad to see one of my favorite high school hangout spots replaced, but I came to Super Cue with high hopes. However, I wasn’t too impressed. I ordered a peach oolong tea with boba, half ice half sweet, and it just seemed watered down and the boba wasn’t anything special. I appreciate that it wasn’t overly artificially flavored though — I think the flavor is actually infused into the tea leaves, which they brew fresh using an espresso machine! Interesting concept but I’m not sure how effective that is in making iced tea… I also got the Honey Mustard Super Fries to share with a couple friends. The honey mustard tasted strangely like wasabi, which I wasn’t really a huge fan of, but the fries itself were nice and crispy! I don’t know if I would come back, because I don’t like this place as much as some of the other boba shops in the South Bay, but I think it was worth the try!

Verde has turned into Super Cue Café. They didn’t do much with remodeling so it looks exactly the same inside. The tea quality is better and service is a lot friendlier too. Tried their best seller Peach Oolong with no sugar and pearls and it actually tasted like no sugar. Many pearl tea places soak the pearls in sugar but this place did not. I posted a pic of their top 10 drinks so take a look!

I’m really excited about this place opening! My boyfriend and I were waiting for a table for dinner and popped in to see what this place was. Everyone who helped us were really nice! They were having a soft opening and were supposed to close at 5, but they were still happy to serve us around 5:15. There’s tea leaf samples that I assume you get to sniff and they had a really yummy sample of peach oolong tea. I’m going to have to get one of their fresh teas the next time I’m here! What makes me really excited about this place is they brew your tea to order! They have containers of tea leaves and I was so exited to see that! The boyfriend and I weren’t sure what to get and one of the staff recommended the hoji cha over the genmai cha that we were deciding between. The BF wanted a milk tea so we got a hoji cha milk tea, half sweet, and no ice. It was so tasty! The hoji cha was strong, you could actually taste the tea which is just the way we like it! Can’t wait to come back again and try out some more teas!
