I am sorry the person above feels that way about Golden Gems. I have been a customer for a long time(& I don’t buy large items — little tiny things from her like a $ 35 pearl earring as an example) and she has never belittled me. Their business is based on trust, and basically she’s saying that you if you don’t trust her, don’t do business with them. FYI — her prices are very fair. If you compare her prices with those of other jewelers, you can always trust her pricing is fair and her quality is good. Those who know her know that about this store’s reputation. She has a reputation for fair pricing and being honest — she won’t lie to you. Yesterday, I asked about a pearl, which is dyed and which not, and she told me which was and which wasn’t. She didn’t need to — I would not have known but she told me anyway. Whether its a $ 50 item or $ 5000, I would always check out her store first for inventory. She always recommended me items that fit my price range and didn’t make me feel small, and I always felt I could believe what she told me, which is important when it comes to jewelry.

I’ve gotten my engagement ring here a few years ago with installment plan. The ladies are extremely friendly and helpful. Ring came with certification and is excellent quality! Color never tarnish and it still as sparkly as I got it! I’m going again today for my wedding band, this is the only store I’ll ever shop at for my jewelry!!!

I really am not fond of writing reviews but in this case, I feel like I really have to. I came in the store asking for a price on how much they charge for resizing a ring. She answered properly. However when I asked her of how do I assure that the stone is going to stay or it will not be «changed» or they will not«alter» it.(I asked because they are going to keep the ring for 3 – 4 days). She was like, «Then don’t do it here, oh my God… We even service 3 karat diamonds and they just leave it here. Yours is like nothing. Labor is even more expensive than your ring.» To me, I was like, WOW! Thank you for belittling me, thank you for saying that my ring does not have any value. To me, I asked her properly and you know it all depends on HOWYOUSAYIT. I said it in a low tone of voice, no arrogance, just plainly asking. And she answered me that way. To me that is very insulting and rude. And you know what, my ring definitely has value, it is 18K gold, with ½ karat diamond. I may not be rich like your other clients but you do not have the right to belittle me. I asked because I am just taking care of my jewelry, of my property. And as far as I am concerned with how I was raised, I asked you POLITELY. You do not have the right to talk back to me that way or to anybody. YOUCANEATALLYOUR100KARATSTUPIDDIAMONDS! I did not say anything after she told me those words. She said thank you and smiled and I too. I am not an argumentative type of person. But really these people who run a business or who work for a business you must know how to treat a customer. There were 2 ladies who are manning the jewelry shop. The lady who was wearing red blazer is nice but the one who was wearing pink was rude. I felt bad on how you treated me.
