Abrams Hall-Ft Benning Army Lodging

The two things I want when I go to a hotel are a clean bed and wifi. They had a clean bed and nice new rooms. Their wifi would not connect. I called the front desk to ask for assistance or any help, and they basically said good luck. This is going to be a long 3 weeks without wifi here. Consolation is they do have a computer room, but you obviously can’t do work or save stuff on public computers.

Great facility with over 800 rooms. Best rooms I have stayed in over 58 years of being involved with the military. It has only been open a few months and went through a management change on Oct 1^st to the IHG group and the transition has caused some minor issues. Once they work through them it will be great. The people worked together to resolve issues.

Brand new, very nice accommodations! Impressive for a military hotel! I think because its so new theres some quirks/​kinks to work out.

Living space with a desk and a power tower, kitchenette with dishwasher, glass stove top and refrigerator.
plenty of storage and large closet in the bedroom for those extended stays
TVs in living space and bedroom. Brand-​new blow dryer on the wall nice retractable cord, however it’s rather a nuisance having to hold the button to try to keep the dang thing on– if you move your hand around styling, the dryer stops unless you fully grip it. Theres also an Ironing board/​iron and an in closet safe.
Free continental breakfast –choice of cheerios, bagel, light yogurt, cold boiled eggs, juices, coffee. Hopefully they will ADD to the breakfast choices
–Fitness room with 5 treadmills, ellipticals, and 3 bikes. Body balls and mats. Towels available as well as sanitary wipes however it was apparent members who used to the treadmills chose not to use cleaning wipes after they sweat all over everything. Probably need a BIG sign that says please clean up after yourselves. No free weights or resistance bands– which would make the facility more useful. There are 2 TVS, but no remotes — probably needed to ask front desk but I had youtube to entertain me.
–Guess laundry is FREE! Nice new large front loads and a big laundry sink on each floor, also a gear wash station!
–Study rooms each floor and a business Office with computers and printers on the first floor
Overall very quiet, clean, and comfy.
