Aqua tots cypress is an excellent place for your child to learn how to swim. The facility is very clean and the teachers are wonderful. My son loves going every week and has made a lot of progress since we started.

I signed up my 3-yo daughter to take swim lessons 1x a week. One of the reasons I selected this school was because they offer make-up classes. I called today to schedule a make-up class since my daughter missed her class last night and they informed me that because I didn’t call before the class and because she was marked as a «no-show» they were unable to offer a make-up class. I am beyond annoyed. I understand if I waited a few days or weeks but I called less than 24 hours from her original class time. They were closed this weekend due to the holiday so I couldn’t call when I first realized we had a conflict. I tried yesterday morning but no one answered. I didn’t have a chance to try again until this morning. I will likely be cancelling since it doesn’t appear that they have any desire to work with families and keep reasonable customers happy.

I am giving it three stars for the actually facility and the swim instructors. I had a horrible experience here recently — where an untruth was told by a counter staff. So unprofessional and yuck! WISH I READTHEREVIEWSHEREPRIORTOBOOKING! I was contacted and I felt valued as a customer — I will stick with my three star rating. Coach Brandon rocks!

My son had one class here. I received an email that Aqua tots was closed due to weather. So I called the next day and they rescheduled him for 4pm that day. My sons make up instructor did not show up. So at 4:05 they placed him with another instructor who was already in the water. At 4:28 my son was out of the water showering off with clean water. So he lost a total of 7 minutes of a 30 minute class. I had to request three times that he be placed back in the water for his 7 minutes as I’m paying for 30 minutes. So the way it’s set up the instructor goes up to the door and calls names of their kids, then they take them to the water for the lesson. A few minutes before the next 30 minute session(which are every half hour 3, 3:30, 4, 4:30…) they get them out of the water, give them a quick rinse, lead them out the back door, and talk to parents about what needs improvement. So they take a few minutes away from swim time before and after every class. NOCHILDGETSTHEFULL30MINUTESWIMSESSIONPARENTSAREPAYINGFOR. Maybe 25 if they are fast, but it is impossible for 30 the way it’s set up. They are falsely advertising 30 minute swim lessons. They should allow 5 minutes in between classes to get one group out and the next group in so everyone receives the full 30 minutes they are paying for.

The owner of aquatots is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever came into contact with. I have been a customer since they opened their doors and had my son enrolled twice a week, one day we were paying for, and another day his grandmother was paying for as a birthday present. They kept overcharging our cards and could not get the payments correct, so eventually we had to take our cards off file and just pay at the first of the month. In june, since our cards were not on file, I planned to pay for his class at the start of the lesson for june, but before I had a chance, I received an email from the owner saying he had been dropped from all of his classes. She did not try to contact me over the phone, give a courtesy call, nothing, just dropped him from the class, while he even had 3 makeups to do that we’ve already paid for. I tried to contact the owner but she never called me back. they are seriously lacking in the lesson aspect of it too, as kids I know learn to float and swim by 3 or 4 months, while here they drag it out so you just pay more money for longer. Do not take your children here, not only is it ineffective but they do not care for or appreciate their customers.
