Today was my first time going to Boardwalk Bagels and I was quite impressed. Everyone was very friendly and in great moods. I ordered their Cinnamon bagel, toasted with cream cheese and a Carmel Latte… both were very good! I would highly recommend and will be coming back! Thank you for going above and beyond when so few places do these days. It stands out!

Been here multiple times because the product is good. That said I will never be returning. There is only a small portion of the staff that has a clue. The most inconsistent service I’ve ever dealt with. The fist time being here when the manager/owner was in, everything was great. The last 4 times has been a shit show. Staff is rude. Always in a hurry to get you out of the shop. I’ve been told the pepper packets were off to the side and that«we don’t put pepper on the sandwiches» when the two times prior they had. This last time I was ordering 4 items for a few buddies. Was not even allowed to tell him what I wanted outside of what«they do» for the sandwiches. Isn’t my sandwich? Did I not just pay for it? Unbelievable. Truly is a shame that people like that get hired.

First time stopping in here. Great friendly staff. Offered me a fork and knife to go with my delicious giant cinnamon roll. The coffee I ordered was fantastic. I’m a new fan of this place. Two thumbs up!

This place is awesome. Customer Service(5⁄5): Everyone is always so happy and helpful. If you ask for their opinion they are honest and also on point. If they haven’t eaten a certain sandwich or cream cheese they will tell you but then ask another coworker if it is good. They have plenty of seating and free wifi if you want to stay and do work. There is also a loyalty membership which is free. Once you earn 200 points you receive a $ 10 gift card. Food: Bagels(4⁄5): They make all of their bagels fresh on the daily. It’s great to buy a few for the week to have them at work. They will last a little less than a week so its nice to pick up a few every Monday morning. My only critique is that the bagels are really thick so when they toast them it doesn’t seem like they are toasted inside. But overall I really like the bagels and they are filling. They have great flavor and such a variety. Their rosemary olive and jalapeño bagels with the garlic cream cheese is heaven. Cream Cheese(5⁄5): They have so many flavors but I would say their best ones are the garlic and sun dried tomato. The garlic cream cheese is the best cream cheese I’ve had. They also sell containers of them! Rani Panini(5⁄5): Two of the employees told me this was their #1 sandwich and they did not lie. It has turkey, avocado, tomato, spinach, provolone cheese, and garlic/basil mayo. IT. WAS. PERFECT. They use ciabatta for the sandwich and is perfectly«panini’ed.» It comes out super crunchy but soft on the inside. It comes with a side of the cucumber salad or coleslaw. I haven’t had the coleslaw but the cucumber salad was light and yummy. It was a good meal, not heavy and not too much. Drinks: They have standard drinks, coffee and such. Just a note though, their to-go cups leak from the rim. I am not sure if the lids are not an exact match.

Needs major TLC. Tables have crumbs all over, ripped seats, dirty grimy refrigerator, trash by creamer is full, magazines are piled loosely every where. Floor needs to be swept. This is at 10am on a Saturday. Wow! Owner if you’re reading this, do something about it. It’s nice to have a bagel place in the neighborhood.

Friendly helpful staff. Fresh bagel, and good iced coffee. Appreciated the outdoor seating to enjoy a nice coffee and a bagel with my pup in the great weather. Thank you!

I love this place. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years. I love their chocolate bagel the best. No other bagel store around has a chocolate bagel

This is our favorite little stop for bagels and coffee! So much more affordable, quaint, and unique than Starbucks, and once you try their bagels topped with flavored cream cheese, you’ll be hooked!

I always look at how clean a place is before I go ga-ga over their offerings. Well folks, you only need look up to see the dirt clinging to the ceiling near all the a/c vents to know its never serviced. That means there is lots of dust and dirt circulating round and round inside and eventually onto every surface and the food. There is a long padded bench seat, one half of which is torn in several places. The dirt at the bottom of that seat is very evident. Some of the furniture needs to be tossed or redone(it’s the same stuff from the previous owners). Then there was the manager/owner(older guy with the overgrown beard) who was apparently so bored, he pulled a chocolate cookie out of the display case, held it close to his face while peering at it, then promptly slid it back into the display while placing his dirty(he had just been fooling around with his Mac Book Pro) ungloved hand on the top of the exposed cookie, patting it several times for good measure. Oh boy! If that’s done in the open, you have to wonder what happens in back. BTW, the younger workers gloved up when handling food, but not the old guy. The bagel display was mostly empty at 10:50am. I guess they make only so much of each kind, then let them run out leading up to closing time. My bagel, though toasted, was overly chewy, as if undercooked. I’ve had way better bagels(Einstein Bros for one), and these are a bit pricey even plain. I guess people handing out 5 stars have never gad a good bagel and/or have not hung around the place long enough to see some of the things I saw today. Thinking I won’t be back…

Its a bit pricy but customer service is da best! Owner was nice enough to get us some cheese rolls as sample. Bagels are out of this world. Cheese Cream is to die for… Coffee was okay… I had to add like have a cup of sugar… Forgot to use my military discount. Will mos def come back… Excellent place to chill and place cards with friends and ETC!

This place doesn’t look like much from outside so I was a bit hesitant. As a true Unilocaler I had to go tho lol! Their plain coffee is very mellow and not bitter at all. They have bagels, sweets, fruit, breakfast and lunch sandwich options. This is my second trip and I ordered a mocha to see how they stacked up vs Starbucks or one of the chain coffee stores and I have to say their &4.5020oz mocha beats most chain stores IMHO a very solid 4 stars bordering 5. As I try more of their stuff I may upgrade Meantime, enjoy!

My picks: The mocha raspberry was very yummy without being overly sweet, just how I like it. My veggie sandwich w/egg on whole wheat everything bagel with cream cheese on the side was perfection. Thanks for making a veggie sandwich not taste like a boring bed of lettuce. I am definitely coming back. Cons: the place looks super dated.

I must say I was pretty surprised with this place. It’s super close to my house and I needed to grab a quick bite to eat. I wanted something a little healthy so I ordered the Caprese panini. Before ordering the caprese I had previously asked if he could add tomatoes into the Ham & Turkey panini without paying more and he said no. Which is fine, Caprese is healthier anyways, so I went with that. But they later informed me after I had paid that they ran out of the type of cheese needed, he switched the order to the Ham & Turkey panini & even added in the tomatoes for me for free! Needless to say, service is great. The panini was super good, crisp on the outside just the way I like it and the cucumber salad on the side was delicious & healthy!

Meh… maybe I missed something? I read some really nice reviews months ago and I finally made it in here. I looked down to see an assorted choice of bagels, however most were empty… I went with the sourdough bagel, and I saw on a little sign above the choice of cream cheeses. I honestly don’t remember all of the selections but there was plain, veggie, chive, and some berry ones. I chose the chive. I didn’t really get to look at the menu but they have electronic menus above the register which I thought was pretty cool. They had some choices of breakfast bagels, a few sandwiches, a few paninis, etc… From what I saw it looked like they had a lot of latte selections and a few mochas as well. I did see a raspberry mocha which kind of intrigued me so I may stop back in one day to try that. I asked what iced teas they had and one that she mentioned was the paradise iced tea. I asked what that was and she didn’t know and asked the girl behind her which pretty much said«I don’t know what’s in it but we just brew it. Also we have those over there», and pointed at your normal Lipton bins of pre-made tea. Okay??? Well what the hell, I went with it anyways. If you ask me, it tastes like passion fruit teas at most places… however it was yet another place that served me a cup full of ice and a little tea, where I can barely move the straw around. Ice must be hard to come by these days if I get charged a couple bucks for a small cup full of ice and a little drink… The bagel came out promptly and tasted good. You can’t really mess up bagels… the spread was a good amount too. I always enjoy a bigger amount of spread. I’m not a fan of dry bagels. Service wasn’t the friendliest to me. I noticed more guys come out from the back. It looks like a lot of younger kids work here. So I may come back to try that mocha and grab a bagel while I am there, but this probably won’t be at my top choices of places to visit for my bagel needs.
