Charley’s Grilled Subs

FOBs must run this joint. My wife and I shop and dine regularly at Houston Premium Outlet and today we had a terrible experience at the food court. I ordered food at Charley‘s Grilled Subs and my wife at Asian Too. Neither of them would serve water with their food. They wanted us to buy water for another $ 2. Last time a restaurant wouldn’t serve water to customers was in a very backward third world country I visited many years back. In CA it’s illegal not to serve drinking water with food. I sense a CA like litigation very soon. Felt these places were very greedy and inhospitable. The mall needs new or enforcement of regulations to correct these predatory practices. Update: 12÷7÷2015 Contacted the Houston Premium Outlets General Manager with the complaint and she says, «the center has conveniently located 10 drinking fountains throughout the property for customer enjoyment. Drinking fountains are located adjacent to restrooms throughout the shopping center.» Well, I will remember to take with me a cup and fetch water next time I eat there. NOT! Now I understand how the merchants get away with their less than civilized attitude toward customers.
