My child’s first visit and it went great! Doctor was very attentive and explained all procedures to my daughter before she began. The whole experience was very pleasant from start to finish. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Dr. Jose Payan is wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and shows that he cares and really wants to help his patients. He is never in a hurry and always listens to all my complaints and has help me with my eye problems. I would recommend him to everybody.

As much as I’d saddens me I have to say I am going somewhere else for my eye care needs. The doctors and staff here are amazing! However, their availability with appointments has been absurd! To have to wait a month or two to be seen for an eye exam is beyond unacceptable. This small practice used to be really good appointment wise. I could get in less than a week and now I’m being told that they don’t have any Saturday appointments until July! (it is May when I called). Then I call to see if I can get a late afternoon and I am told at least two weeks wait. From my experience, the doctors here are great, they take their time with you, answer all your questions, and make sure you are taken care of from A to Z but the appointment availabilities are going to drive your patients away! Now I have to go back to tso since I’m out of contacts and they can get me in a week or less…

Do NOT use Dr Lorraine Payan. She is very condescending and I question her competence. Twice she tried to lower my prescription by a whole power because she thought I didn’t need anything that strong and I couldn’t see. I had to go back several times to have her raise my glasses and contact prescriptions back to where they were before I saw her.

Very pleased with my entire experience with Dr. Loraine and her staff. All my questions were answered in a way I could understand and I left feeling comfortable and satisfied with my exam and decisions for my eyes.

The doctors are rude. I try to make conversation and they are so antisocial. Customer service is literally not a thing here. The front desk girl is the nicest person in the building. I am legally blind. Right now I am sitting in the waiting room instead of what I had planned for the day because my shitty contacts tore. I was wearing one wrong because they didn’t have the right one to give me? So eye sight still off with new temp contacts. Tore IN THE CASE. 2 weeks I get no call about my glasses so I had to call today and DRIVE UP HERE BLIND to convey the urgency of my situation and they say the reason it took forever is because my prescription is high. I’ve been wearing glasses for 20 years it has always been high and I have never had this drama. I’m not even making a return appointment to get more contacts because I will not come back to this place. 20 years. And I have never had an issue with my «high prescription.» yes. I’m blind. That’s why I come. I’ve never just been without contacts or glasses etc or been given straight up crappy ones. Also never left a negative review anywhere but I’m livid and it’s not even being handled properly coming from a manager which I am and I know about customer service and complaints. No. Going back to TSO.

Great experience! I was looking for a new eye Doctor in the area and came across this office on Unilocal.The staff was courteous and attentive from the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Lorraine was extremely thorough and made sure any questions I had for her was answered. I had Lasik about 14 years ago and I wasn’t sure if I would ever be able to wear contacts again. She gave me hope that it was possible and she was right! I love my contacts, no problems whatsoever.

A simple review on the internet isn’t enough to convey my admiration and gratitude for the doctors and staff. We were already happy after a couple of eye exams but when an emergency had us calling the doctor at the last minute, we were fit in immediately. Dr Payan was compassionate, thorough and very knowledgeable. He is a true professional but also an exceptional human being. He then took time later in the day to call and check on us and answer our questions and was genuinely concerned. I can’t thank him enough. We are customers for life!

My 5 yo daughter and I have both been here within the last 6 months and are very happy with Dr. Jose Payan. He’s very knowledgeable, courteous and informative throughout the exam. He was also very patient while trying to find the perfect fit for my contacts and I haven’t had a better contact lens/​fit in many years — to the extent of not wearing them often due to the discomfort. Many thanks to Dr. Payan for taking the time to get it right.

I will not go here again. The place is dumpy and I didn’t like the doctor. The place needs to be updated and i didn’t like the selection of frames that that have. The doc didn’t seem to know what kind of contacts should fit me well. Had to keep trying. It became annoying. I do not recommend this place. I should’ve listened to my friends and not have gone here. Live and learn.

Dr. Jose always takes the time to explain things (even more than once) and truly cares. He also does a great job of managing insurance to our best advantage. Very kind and caring.

My wife and I have been going to Cy-​Fair Eyecare for 6 years. Appointments are always prompt, Doctors are very professional as well as personal, and staff is very friendly. We always purchase our glasses and contacts from here as well. When I damage my glasses I have always run by without calling and they repair for me quickly. I just went here this week for my annual exam. Great place.

We had our second annual check-​up on Monday and, once again, it was a smooth and pleasant visit. I was sent home with a trial set of contact lenses so that I can ‘live’ in them before ordering a year’s worth. Both doctors are friendly and extremely thorough.
I highly recommend Drs. Payan!

Great optometrists! My family have been patients since they opened. The doctors take a lot of time for the exam and work very hard to make sure you are satisfied. I also appreciate the flexible office hours (even Saturdays) which is great for a busy family.
