If you are looking for a relaxing, clean, and friendly environment, this is the right place.
I’ve been coming to Cypress Nail since I moved to Houston in 2011, and have nothing but the best experiences! This is by far the best place, I ever visited.
The employees are so nice and friendly, I always do my milk/honey pedicure with Jenny (btw it’s real honey); I always enjoy the conversation with her, she speaks three different languages fluently (this is not very common in Asian communities) she even speaks German because she lived and studied in Germany, she takes her time and it shows.
The place is nicely decorated, and well ventilated, they also offer complimentary beverages. Their prices are reasonable, and very competitive with other nail salons in the area.
If you pay with a debit card they cannot add tips, they said the credit card machine does not let them do it, only with a credit card or cash for tips.
If I could give them more stars I would!

I went in on a Saturday morning and the place was empty. The employees were either talking or playing around on an iPad. I brought in a gift certificate that my husband had given me. After choosing my colors fora mani/pedi I was informed they would not accept my certificates. I argued with them for a bit but they would not budge saying that they have changed owners. I was pretty appalled and don’t plan on returning.

I have been going to this nail salon for several years now but I have noticed in the last year the service has dropped off. For instance I will make an appointment and when I show up they will tell me to pick out my color and usually within a few minutes tell me to take a seat at one of the pedicure stations. This is okay, however on more than one ocasion they had me sit without water for 20 min or so, and then once starting on me it seems that whoever was working on my pedi was also doing someone elses service in tandem. So one person would begin doing the work and the other person would finish. This is not very good customer service and I did NOT feel appreciated. In fact on one visit i sat for 45 min. in water while other people were being attended to… not good This is WITH an appointment i would hate to see someone who just walked in. I will be looking for another salon.

This is my neighborhood salon currently. I always love going here because the employees are really friendly, they always remember me and my mom, and you can always have a great conversation with them. There’s only a few employees, so I would call ahead before coming in. Usually Ginny (sorry if this is spelled incorrectly) does my nails, and she loves to talk about her kids and ask you fun questions.
The salon is also very clean and offers waxing services. If you live in the area, I would say this is a nice place to relax.
