Flaherty’s Flooring America

We went to place an order at The Woodlands location and was told our floors would be here Thursday. They called their distributor in Dallas while we waited to make sure. Our house was going up for sale and based on Thursday date we he were going to have our listing go live Saturday. We called Wednesday and no one mentioned it would not arrive on Thursday. Husband took off work early to make it in time to pick up — called and now they told us it would be Tuesday. Now we are screwed on our listing date and no one bothered to call us and let us know they messed up. Poor communication and follow through after numerous contacts with them which could have been mentioned. If we had not ordered and needing the product for our listing — we would have gone elsewhere. We offered to pay to get it here earlier and they said they couldn’t. Sometimes you feel like a hostage to bad service

We needed to get the carpet in the master bedroom replaced due to some damage from our dog, and came to Flaherty’s mainly because it was close and well reviewed. The whole process was very easy-​all staff were friendly and professional from Scarlet, the salesperson, to Patrick Flaherty, who came to measure, to Rebecca, who scheduled the installation.
Installation was also good, but they did come later than expected.
We are very happy with the carpet and experience, and would definitely recommend them.

Flaherty’s is truly amazing. I had an indirect experience with them back in 2012. I was a renter in a house that they replaced some flooring in under an insurance claim. I do not know the details of the transaction, but the installation was flawless, so when I found myself in search of flooring for an entire house, they were the first stop. Since I’m prone to really wordy reviews, I’ll try to summarize my experience efficiently.
1. We purchased a 20 year old, 2400 sq ft house with original floors. We replaced everything using a combination of tile, wood, and carpet.
2. The employees are the best! Carl was our sales rep. He is super knowledgeable, patient, and quite possibly the least pushy sales rep I’ve ever met. He has a lot of experience, and very helpful suggestions, without taking over design. Doug was our install coordinator. You get one person assigned just to your project that schedules and follows up on install. Since we had three different product, we had three crews, and he made everything happen a lot faster than originally quoted. Each of the three crews were wonderful. Their work was perfection, and everyone delivered faster than quoted without compromising quality.
3. Cost was so much more competitive than I thought it would be. We got a quote from Flaherty’s, Lowes, and Home Depot. The big box stores will run promos on basic install, but it doesn’t include anything. I got better quality product for the same price. Oh, and Flaherty’s didn’t charge extra for laying the tile on a diagonal broken joint pattern. The others wanted to charge close to $ 4/​sq ft for just the pattern (doesn’t include the basic install price, or product, or prep materials).
4. One final note, they do accept credit cards, but will give a «cash discount» if you pay with cash or check. For the size of our project, it was significant!

From the moment the owner came to my house to measure my house for carpet to finish it was utter perfection. Patrick the owner could not have been nicer. Staci the rep did a great job helping us select the carpet.
The installation was amazing. They did our 4,000 house in one day. 4 workers who were the best that I have EVER seen. We had to beg them to take lunch. They started at 0900 and finished at 7:00! What a day! Perfect instillation and service.
The price was very reasonable and was such a simple process. Why can’t all businesses be run like this. You can tell the owner is good because all of the employees have been there for a long time. The lead installer said he had worked there for 14 or so years!
Can’t say enough about awesome service! Thanks to everyone there we love our new carpet!!!

Flaherty’s was a preferred provider through our homeowner’s insurance company due to their great warranties and work. Larry met with us after hours and for as long as needed to go through all the (millions of) options. Our installer was Klint… who wa awesome, professional and a perfectionist.
