First time here and Cory really helped out by finding out which snow ice I wanted and he was very welcoming and nice

This was me and my cousins first time at frostbites, and this place had some of the best customer service that I have ever received. When we walked in we were greeted by a young gentlemen named Cory, and he treated us very well. He made our first experience at frostbites amazing. We ordered two strawberry cheesecake gelatos, which I highly recommend. Overall this place is a solid five stars and we will be back for more.

Frost Bites is a delicacy from the highest level of heaven. The flavor gods have blessed this place with flavor so powerful and satisfying that it leaves your taste buds crying from longing. Sour Gummy Worm, Mango Pineapple with Tajin, and Red White and Blue are the go-to. Better than Ritas and Joes.

Very friendly staff, and choices and options of ice cream and frozen yogurt. The staff are very helpful and this location is a little bigger than the Cerritos location, but the experience here or in Cerritos from my experience is excellent. I would get the Peanut Butter flavor, I did not know the exact name, but the staff knew what I wanted and created my frozen delight. :)

Love the way they encourage customers to try new flavors! I’m very traditional when it comes to desserts so I would never had found about my love for passion fruit and mango flavored ice mixed with vanilla custard if not for their insistence I try it. Sometimes it can be frustrating to have to wait if there is a line. People love to taste test. But when it is your turn, they really want you to be happy with your selection and adventurous enough to try new things. The staff has always been friendly when we are here. Be patient. You will enjoy it when it is your turn to be helped!

Today was my first time in frostbite, and it was amazing! The male employees Jake was awesome and let us try many flavors and options. I ended up with captain crunch(taro, blueberry and strawberry) with vanilla ice cream, I was in heaven I didn’t want my cup to end. Can’t wait to come back!

A male employee with facial hair helped us out today and his attitude to even start with was unwelcoming. He seemed irritated that customers came in and was very unwilling. Ordered a crêpe and he forgot all the toppings and simply put strawberries and chocolate syrup … All this for $ 6? No way. A flat piece of crêpe with no flavor. Where is the cinnamon? Lemon juice? Whipped cream? Butter? We specifically even said to put whipped cream after we changed our mind. I felt like the worker saying thank you and giving small talk with an unresponsive worker. I know this isn’t a five-star restaurant but at least have the means of having proper customer service. Sadly, I will not be returning.

I bring my kids to this location often for treats… But, today, it was a big disappointment. When we walked in there was only one couple in line, then we got in line. Employee(Hispanic named C — — ) was the only one working. The young couple in line, the girls was doing the taste testing… she took sooooooo long tasting one sample, then another set of customer walked in… then the girl and the employee were talking about the ear piercing when there were people in line. The guy was tapping his customer saying there are people in line and the employee was saying, It doesn’t matter… REALLY? it doesn’t matter if there’s more customers in line? It was ridiculous. Then I bought 4 and she rang the register and when I gave her my point card, she says, «you get 2». 2? I bough 2 med. and 2 small… how do I get 2?. WOW!!! She needs to go back to training class for better customer service. That was THEWORST customer service ever.

I came to the plaza expecting to get 7 Leaves, but somehow got drawn into Frostbites instead. I know this is highly rated, but I don’t mind hyping it up because this place does meet its expectations. The biggest struggle with trying a new place is deciding what the heck to order. With an extensive list of flavors, I was at a lost on which combinations to try. They didn’t have any pre-made creations on their menu. Instead, if you let the associate know you’re a first timer, they’ll give you tons of different samples to try. They’re helpful in making suggestions based on your taste and are patient with whatever questions you have. Today, I’m only going to review on their sorbet cream. It is the only thing I’ve ever gotten and their most popular option. There are two basic steps to making your creation. First, you select your custard(vanilla, chocolate, and or both). Then, you select which Italian ice flavors you want. Picking out your Italian flavors is the fun part because you’re not limited to a particular number of flavors. I generally keep it to three flavors, it really depends on your personal taste. They combine all your desired flavors into one giant scoop on top of the custard. The most popular mix I’ve seen is the blueberry, sour apple, and raspberry combination. I say if you’ve been here before, be adventurous. I know they recently came out with a pumpkin flavor which would be interesting to see what kind of combinations you can come up with. All in all, the place deserves an A+.

This is probably the best run dessert place I have ever gone to! The owner is amazingly personable and its no wonder that it translates down into his business philosophy and how he operates frostbites. You will feel welcome, happy, engaged and absolutely satisfied when you go to frostbites! The staff is attentive and offers suggestions and support and your satisfaction is of utmost importance! The desserts are OUTOFTHISWORLD! I am definitely tired of froyo and cold stone… So when I found this I was very skeptical this is a very refreshing taste of a new craze! No pun intended!

I went in with my sister, husband, and a few friends after KBBQ, thinking I would just try a sample while they ate their ice cream. Parking was easy(it was 9:30pm on a Saturday) and the line was short, though once I saw the sign for how the line snakes, I knew we just got lucky. Lo and behold, there was a line with 15 – 20 people behind me within a few minutes. It’s no surprise given the seemingly limitless combinations of soft serve + Italian ice. While the concoction was unique and delicious, what stood out the most was their awesome customer service. My cashier asked immediately if it was our first time(she probably noticed our overwhelmed faces) and was extremely generous with the samples since some of her recommendations were unusual. She took time to let me try a few combos, even with the long line behind me, and really made me feel like a valued customer. I never felt rushed, which is impressive given the circumstances! Hands down the best customer service I’ve received at any restaurant. I went with taro and peanut butter ices and swirl soft serve and it was incredible! Totally unexpected and something I wouldn’t have gotten to try if it wasn’t for her help. I wish I knew her name – all I can remember is that she had glasses and bangs. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area, and will go to another location if I’m not. They are definitely doing things right and I just hope the customer service is as good at the other locations!

I love this place!!! My favorite place to go for ice cream! I always do the watermelon and strawberry with vanilla. So good! Fancier version of a 50⁄50 bar. The staff here is also great. They’ll happily give you as many samples as you’d like so feel free to try the different combos. It’s also a good price for what you get. They serve other desserts like crepes but people mostly come for the Italian ice and cream. Yummy!

I love this place! The italian ice mixed with the creamy custard makes this dessert so satisfying. I’m not a fan of overly sweet or rich desserts, so to me. this combination is perfection. It’s tart, yet sweet and creamy. such a good balance of flavors. They have so many tropical flavors and the have a bunch of their own creations for you to sample. Seriously, they all taste amazeballs. If you still can’t decide… get the taro and passionfruit ice with vanilla custard. Feels like paradise in a cup!

Sampled several sorbet chill and sorbet cream. Went with the strawberry with vanilla. 4 stars Their Crepes. Well… was a disappointment. We ordered– The Butter, powdered sugar, cinnamon. Buttered, lemon juice, powdered sugar. Strawberries, banana, whipped cream, Nutella. Unfortunately, all 1 star. Why? Well the crepes were way too thick to my liking. It should be thin and soft. The bananas were too riped and strawberries were way opposite of sweet. I really wanted to like this place alot but was a fail with their crepes. However, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I’d return for their sorbet.

Definitely one of the best Italian ice places you could find. They have a large variety of flavors and they’re very generous with sample, they just keep offering them(who does that??) I almost always get lychee, green apple, or cherry. There service here is awesome and I feel like they set the bar for other restaurants and myself with my food service jobs. In high school I would come and see all there cheerful lady workers which was good. College came and for the first time I see guy workers but they were extremely friendly as well. They have crepes too which are good as well but nothing out of the ordinary and are okay in price. Because of the top dessert quality and customer service, Everyone should check this place out!

Where has this place been all my life!!! After many hours researching best ice cream in OC I kept landing on Frostbites and i must say its gooooood! I have never been to an italian ice place that also had fresh made crepes; My friends and I walked in and Cori! was helpful and offered many samples, I think next time I’ll try the cactus cooler, or some combination of lemon and pineapple. The last sample sealed the deal, I had a snickers sorbet that was fantastic! I really didn’t know what to expect but its the perfect blend of sorbet and ice cream… i think i want another right now just thinking about it. There are so many options for flavors and crepes and all kinds of goodies I cant wait to go back! I also noticed that they were using a point of sale system that didnt have paper receipts(unless you want one) for those of you who know the thermal receipt paper is toxic if touched and not washed off quickly(look it up), Instead i was emailed my receipt directly to my phone, its a small amount of paper saved and a better way tot do business, at least in my opinion.
