This place is thee worst yogurt shop EVER. I feel bad for the owner because she doesn’t make money out of this business venture I’m SURE of it. The yogurt is actually good but its the shop it self and the location of it that makes this place horrible. It’s located right across the street from Cypress Community College and no one seems to come here even then. Haha and they close when it rains because they have lost hope on those days because that’s when they know for sure their not gonna have any customers. The only reason why I am giving this place a 1 star is because of the nice guy working at this place, his name is Brian I believe and he also offered me a discount if I bought two yogurts. This guy makes up for the shittiest yogurt place in the world. He has good taste in music as when i walked into the store I noticed ska playing quietly in the background, he told me that the old people next door couldn’t handle it, ha! Anyways thanks to this young buck I had a good experience, somewhat…

So many froyo shops, so little time… I was on my way to fill up my gas tank when I remembered that this place had recently opened up on Valley View(across the street from Cypress College in Lakeshore Plaza). After debating whether or not to try a new froyo joint, I figured«why not?» My froyo list could always use another review, right? Wait, don’t answer that… I’m not sure as to why this place is called Sweet 16 because this place only has about four different froyo flavors: tart, strawberry, blueberry, and vanilla(I believe). Maybe they have 16 different toppings? I was too lazy to count. Anyway, like the multitude of froyo shops popping up everywhere, this one’s pretty much like the rest, but on a much smaller scale. The froyo’s decent, but I caught them on a bad day as they were cleaning out one of the machines and I couldn’t get a fresh sample of their tart flavor. They did have some in the back that was saved, so I opted to try it. Like I said, it’s not bad. The fresh fruit is a gamble. I wanted kiwi, but being the brown, hairy stepchild to the ever popular strawberry, it wasn’t readily available(though I could’ve waited for my server to chop some up). Again, I was too lazy to wait. So, I just got some fresh strawberry(coarsely chopped, unfortunately). Sweet 16 is no Red Mango, but I’ll take what I can get out in the middle of Cypress. Check it out if you’re ever in the CYP.
