My daughter and I went for a birthday party for a friend. The place is a lasar tag facility. Pretty much what we expected. What we did not expect was the rudeness of the staff. I put a decent amount of reviews out there and I am pretty patient with low hourly rate employees. But not when you come after my daughter. My daughter is a type 1 diabetic and simply asked a young lady behind the counter if they had a carb sheet. This is not odd, and a lot of places do not have it so we make an educated guess at her carb count. But we always ask first. The employee looked at my daughter, rolled her eyes and said if she needs to count carbs, she doesn’t need to eat pizza. Now, type 1 diabetes is not due to being obese. It simply means your pancreas has stopped creating insulin. It is tough enough for a 14 year old to deal with without having some teenage brat shame her. My daughter took it a lot better than i. I don’t expect much from. people but common courtesy is a nice thing to expect. Now this could have all been avoided with common courtesy, but now this review will be on the Internet long after lasar x closes their doors. Customer service fail.

Simply terrible! Half of the arcade games are broken, food is nasty, soft drinks have no carbonation, broken water fountain laying on the floor in the handicapped stall of women’s bathroom, no toilet paper, no paper towels, only 2 people working on a Saturday afternoon. Completely unacceptable. The package prices are $ 159.00, $ 350.00 and $ 400.00. We were here for a friends kids birthday party and they had the 400.00 package. I’d be pissed if I had my kids party here. Just a dump.

Friendly, Local, and Fun! What more can a parent ask for? My son just had his football team’s award ceremony here and boy was it so much fun! As soon as we drove in we couldn’t help to notice but the parking lot was really small, enough to literally just fit my small SUV and couple compact cars with the fainted Yellow lines but that did not bother us. We walked in and entertained ourselves with the arcade games inside, perfect for all ages,(son being 6 and daughter 4 years old). Then it came to playing Laser tag! The vests were a little big for my little ones but had laser guns to easily be able to maneuver in the dark, glow in the light room with smoke and secret passages, I did have to help my daughter since she was a little confused at first and kept wanting to be by my side but once she got the hang of it she ran freely. The party rooms were quite small, maybe we were too many people but it was a little uncomfortable trying to get pictures or simply to move around, I dont know but I will leave this comment on here since I do think it is share worhty. At the end, the staff was very kind, infromative, and patient! There is nothing that means so much to a parent than a staff to have those qualities to ease the headache to parents, I do like the fact that this place tends to aim more towards younger children or pre-teens since most laser tag places are designed for teens and adults.

Came for our nephews birthday party. Our kids are five and under so they were too nervous for the actually laser tag but were more than satisfied to play the arcade games. The pizza is surprisingly good and it seemed like the staff was kind and attentive to the party host and hostess.

12÷5÷14 Not what I expected. When we arrived we were showed our room and told to have the guests start lining up for their first mission, half or our guest hadn’t even arrived. I immediately felt very rushed. The employee told me to just send the kids in when they got there. Needless to say a few of my guests missed their first lazer tag mission. So if you decided to have a party at Lazer X, stress to your guests that things start immediately and to not be late. The website said paper products and cutlery were included so I made the mistake of assuming they would have candles, a cake cutter, and an ice cream scoop. I was wrong, when I asked they said they didn’t have candles or a scoop, but she did manage to find a cake cutter. I felt like I was the one running the party, when we needed more cups, I had to find someone. I had to go find an employee to check to see when their next lazer tag game was and determine if we needed to have cake and ice cream, open the presents, etc. But an employee did appear when it was time for us to leave so they could clean up. After standing around for awhile I had to approach someone about paying for the party. All of this made for a stressful time on us, the parents. I would have really liked to have enjoyed my sons party. The 8 year old boys all had a blast, so I guess that is the important thing.

It started off really bad! I had called a few days earlier to confirm my party and the time that I should arrive. I was advised that I could arrive 20 minutes before my scheduled time. I arrived 20 minutes earlier as discussed and there was another private party going on. I was advised I would need to wait until their party ended. We then had to reload everything to our car until the other party ended. Keep in mind that I had cake, ice cream and party gifts. The previous party was still going on when our party was SUPPOSED to start at noon. Our guests were outside waiting, so we all decided to walk in. Keep in mind that I am paying for a PRIVATE party that was supposed to start at NOON and end at 145pm. I asked the individuals working there, both stating that they were managers, about getting the previous party goers to move on, so we could get started. I reminded the«managers» that I had a private party that still had not started because of the chaos. Neither one of them ever addressed the other group, so my fiancé had to announce that another private party had started. Once the other party finally left, our party FINALLY got started. Neither host/manager, introduced themselves or gave me a quick run down of the events. I had to ask about the unlimited drinks, pizzas, and quarters I was supposed to receive for my package. I also had to continue to ask to have our«unlimited» drinks refilled because they were not paying attention. The sad thing is this place would have been perfect if there were people there that took ownership of the situation. The email that you receive prior to your event lines everything up and gives you the impression that it will be an organized, successful event. I asked about the email when the first party ran over and was told it is just a «standard email» that everyone gets. I hope that the owner of this location reads these reviews and addresses their opportunities. It has a lot of potential, but not if it is going to be managed this way.

Nice size facility for lazer tag and plenty of video games for the kids to play. Staff if friendly and attentive.

Laxer X is a great little place in far west Cypress. Over the past 7 years, we have had multiple birthday parties and attended many birthday parties there. It is SO reasonably priced. They provide a nice clean room and paper products. They now offer pizza and drinks(soon they will be adding frozen custard from Furgy’s). They have a decent selection of video games for a small venue but they have good ones that the kids like. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The typical party consists of a game of laser tag, go back to the party room for pizza/cake/drinks, then another game of laser tag and finally playing games(bring a couple rolls of quarters but they do have a change machine). Highly recommend them for birthday parties.
