My sister and I wanted to buy the Hot Cream Manicure, which, according to the website, , states it is $ 18. The technician said it was $ 20, but then I mentioned the website, and the two technicians working on us spoke to the owner in Vietnamese, and they told us that was the old website. Their Facebook page lists this website as the only website, but they still charged us the $ 20, despite my sister saying several times how misleading it the technician who was assigned to me was starting to paint my nails, the owner shooed her away, and she took over. She did a very bad job with the underlayer, and I told her that the color wasn’t event. She told me «It’s just the underlayer. I have one more to paint. If you do not like it, you do not pay me for it.» Often, salons I go to only paint one layer. She painted the final layer, and I told her«My nails are missing polish on the sides.» All of them were. She sighed, spoke to the technician who was originally working on me, and walked away. The technician worked hard to correct this. The owner came by again and yelled that they have spent over an hour on me, and because of me, another customer was waiting. She also said that I was«so, so picky» even though I only wanted my nails to be painted in the way I asked and paid for, and I may have said that to her twice. Not only did she say this loud enough for others to hear, she walked over to her customer and started talking about me to her. The technician did a good job, but the owner was very unprofessional and unnecessarily sensitive. I was not aggressive or rude. I merely wanted what I paid for. It was a birthday treat for myself. There are other places that are cheaper and do an equally good job.

They do as well as any other place in town. I get a little tired of them trying to push extra services on me — want a pedicure too? «No, I don’t have the time». «We can do it while you get your nails done — do you want extra fancy pedicure? Do you want a design?(followed by the unspoken „for more money“)?» I’ve had many a pedicure here, once where the tech trimmed my toenail at a severe angle and said/did nothing, until I pointed it out after she painted it. I suppose, what could she possibly have said or done, but maybe an «I’m sorry» or a compensation would have been in order. The lady in charge actually took over to try to fix and did apologize, but jeesh! Ultimately, Louetta Nails has been only fair in the pedicure department. I’ve been having my hands/nails done here now for about a month — only half of my nails look normal, the other nails are either filed at a different angle than the rest, or the white french tip is crooked, or the entire nail looks like it’s on a slant, or the nail isn’t filed uniformly. I can’t figure out why they can’t get every nail to look a little more like it should. I pay $ 28 plus tip — I’m giving them a couple of more tries, then I’m off to find another salon.
