I’ve popped into this place twice for a very quick eyebrow wax. Both times, I was able to get in immediately, it’s reasonably priced at $ 7, and it’s in a somewhat nice location(for me anyway) The first time I came here, I had a pleasant experience, very nice lady and gentleman working there. I left a nice tip for them since they were so friendly and accommodating. The second time I came here, the lady at the front desk looked surprised that I was there. She almost choked on her burger. The rest of the staff were sitting in the pedicure chairs watching Vietnamese soap operas. I was the only customer there, so I obviously was taken back right away. The lady who did my brows tried to make conversation even though she didn’t speak English very well. That’s ok. I’ll nod and smile and be polite. She went to work, and everything was great. She finished the waxing, then poured rubbing alcohol on my face. OWW!!! Then she tried to relieve that by putting lotion on my face. EVENMOREOWWW!!! She tweezed a few more hairs, and sent me on my way. When I got home, I did notice my eyebrows were super duper red, but that is pretty common. It wasn’t until later that night that I realized, I have a freakin scab! A huge, gigantic ugly red scab on smack dab in the middle of my eyebrows. I would’ve given this place 3 stars, because half the time the people there are really nice. For me, it’s fantastically close to my house and pretty cheap, and I can get in immediately(cuz there’s usually no one else in there) I did notice last time that it’s kinda dirty in there(dirty floors, dirty towels, dusty tables) Definitely won’t be coming back here unless I’ve got a forest on my face and I don’t have time to go to 5 star nail.
