This is a great place to learn not only self defence and martial arts but also respect and honor. He focuses on improving the student’s physical and mental ability. You will learn something that your schools will never teach you. This place was the place where I started taekwondo, and through this place I was able to find my true interest and ability. Yongin is a great place to go learn and improve yourself.

Master Kim and crew are amazing asset to these kids lives. He teaches respect and self esteem. But everything is about never giving up. I hope more kids get to experience this type of teaching. He may seem strict but in this day and age where kids don’t even look at you when you are speaking to them. These skills are even more valuable to reinforce. Thank you so much!

Yong-​in Martial Arts is fantastic! My daughter started in the little tiger Tae Kwon Do class and absolutely LOVES it. Master Kim is incredible with the kids and teaches them so much more than just martial arts. He takes time to focus on life skills, respect, confidence, and leadership. That alone is worth every penny. I love when she comes home and tells me she is working on her eye, mind and body focus. I am looking forward to seeing my daughter grow in this process.

I started here almost fifteen years ago, and I have learned many things since then. When I was young, we learned about the importance of self-​discipline and respect. As time helped engrave these morals, I grew to learn that in order to respect yourself, you must first learn to respect others. These lessons built the foundations of our young minds, and taught us the impact we have on others in this world. Soon, the school I had once been a part of became a family, and we grew together — helping new students feel the same unity. As I grew up, I started to fill the role as an instructor, and I learned about the importance of leadership. Sure Tae Kwon Do is a martial art, but the experiences you gain here are more valuable than any punch or kick you could ever learn. I hope to all new Yong-​In families, that your students have as rewarding of an experience as I had growing up.

We love the fact that this is a family owned business. Both husband and wife run it, and their children are also students. All the instructors are friendly and respectful. We visited several other local studios, but this one immediately felt good. My kids are safe and we know that they are treated well. The studio is clean and open for parents to watch. This studio is one of those hole-​in-​the-​wall gems.

From Connie, 2011-​Master Chung is a great instructor, especially with children. He understands that their attention span can be limited, and keeps them constantly moving and learning. There is great camaraderie among the students who are all taught to encourage each other. We have watched many students grow from white belts to 2^nd degree black belts and they have incredible maturity for their age. This is also a great place to hold birthday parties for younger children. My daughters love it here
