Ny Nails

Went here before a friends wedding, service was good which was a plus but the actual nails were terrible! So annoyed $ 40 before tip for my acrylics. Came in and asked if they had this particular color, after assuring me they did and then brought me out colors that weren’t what I was asking and tried to make it seem like I’m wrong and the color in my picture was the exact same as the ones they brought me, Which they weren’t! Any way finally picked a color, quickly got out of there, by the time I got home I realized all of the spots they had missed on my nails and when I held my nails up I could see through them since they only applied one coat, I let it slide but by the end of the week my nails were falling off! After 7 days I had lost 4 nails simply by them falling off! Never going back again, waste of $ 40!!!

Just walked out of this place after waiting over an hour in a massage chair, a chair they didn’t even turn on. My mother, sister and I snuck away from a Mothers Day crowd to take care of ourselves. We sat waiting while two men played on their phones, talked to each other and ignored us. The women working can’t be blamed as they were working with others the entire time these two men hung out doing… doing what I have no idea! All I know is the three of us still haven’t had a summer pedicure, won’t be enjoying that feeling pretty time together, and definitely won’t be back to NY Nail.

If it there was a way to give negative stars I would. WORST customer service experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I showed up shortly after they opened. Signed in and they said just a few minutes. Then another woman comes in behind me and is also waiting. I wait for another 15 minutes when someone finally came over asked which of us was first and the lady next to me said that I was there first and was shown to a spa chair, where I sat for another 10 minutes. Meanwhile, the other woman was taken back and her treatment started. Finally a woman comes over and starts the water and asks me to put my feet in while she was finishing up manicure. Then I waited, feet soaking for another 15 minutes until I finally got up and left. No apologies, no «we’re so sorry,» NEVER visit this place.

Sad Update:
While my pedicure was absolutely wonderful and felt amazing– the polish lasted one week before chipping. I have NEVER had my toe nail polish chip ever… and it’s crazy because I am still wearing sandals so my nails aren’t even brushing up against anything. I went back twice to see Hannah and give her the opportunity to fix the polish. The first time I arrived at 9:30 (when they open) and no one was there. I drove back again and she was OFF until the next day. I went to JJ Nails in Dacula and they did a great job but of course I had to pay twice which was a real turn off since I just spent $ 75 on my hands and feet at NY Nails.

2^nd time here, 1^st time here I only had the deluxe pedicure so I could scope the atmosphere and bc if they messed up, I can always wear close toed shoes (gasp). Clean and not claustrophobic like many places.
The pink and white wasn’t pink and white, it’s more clear and white but extremely good placement of the white portion and just the right amount of white tip. I have found my new place!
The chair massager works well, but the pound option will hurt your boobs/​back, stick to knead.
The deluxe pedicure was just ok. I love that they use disposable foot tub liners.
CLEAN, Good job, fairly fast for the quality. A lot of chatter but bearable.

I had an absolutely amazing pedicure from Hannah at NY Nails. For only $ 30, the deluxe pedicure was better than pedicures I’ve received at fancy salons and included a real (not just a once over) relaxing massage with hot stones. The whole bottom half of my legs are relaxed, my feet are soft and my toes are pretty.
The atmosphere was also nice — not stuffy but clean, classy and comfortable. Plus, I saw them clean the entire place when I was there.
