Yaaay. treatment over! My kid is done with his braces and we brought him here to pick up his retainer. I would say our experience with SmilesForever is good. The techs have always been cheerful and helpful when we come for routine services. The clerks behind the deck are very good with scheduling, school absences tics and FSA claims. I will admit that they run a very tight ship here. Everything is planned and scheduled and rigid. Everything is predictable. We come for our appointment at 830. and we get services at 830. We get done on time. Love that…

This establishment is so typical. Quick to gain your business, but the minute you hint at leaving for unforeseen reasons, they are very hard to work with. I moved back to Georgia with braces already on, chose to go with Smiles Forever so that I could continue treatment instead of traveling back to Nashville. They were accommodating, friendly and very much involved with my treatment. Then I got a job 8 hours away by car. The minute I thought about transferring out, the atmosphere shifted. First, they would not tell me the remaining balance I would have if I should leave(how am I supposed to know if I get any money back? I put a large down payment). Secondly, they kept withdrawing money from my account while refusing to see me until I made a decision on staying or not. I went TWO months without any tightening or seeing anyone. Finally I threw in the towel after the lack of cooperation and told them I’d continue their service. Great. So then comes the scheduling. I tell them that I am moving in 2 weeks, of course they are booked solid. Can’t even spare 30 minutes for someone that hasn’t seen the ortho in 2 months and is willing to buy plane tickets, get a hotel room, and a rental car to see them every single month. Then I ask for the closest weekend spot, guess what? Yep. They had miscommunicated with me that they are open every weekend. It’s actually one weekend a month and those don’t start until September. Now my removal date is pushed back another THREE months. That’s also three months of payment and no service! After seeing this, it’ll probably be another year. These people love to retaliate. Ironic, since I transferred INTO smiles. Be careful with this place, they are cuddly if you plan on finishing treatment with them(plan on staying in GA for at least 3 years folks) and can come in during the day(working professionals good luck). This place is only for stay at home individuals or kids with a parent who doesn’t have a rigid work attendance policy. Two stars for the good service when things are peachy, knock off three for the misleading information, unwillingness to disclose financial information to the paying customer and lack of flexibility.
