Absolutely relaxing and romantic! The breakfast buffet was very nice and food was very good. We will be coming back to stay when we are back in town.

Resort, are you kidding. We had to leave at least one star, otherwise we would not have left one, they need a neg. star. This place is a joke, a very expensive one at that. the place reminds you of the old KOA camps, but more run down.

Our church had a weekend retreat here Labor Day Weekend and we had a blast. It lasted from Saturday afternoon to Monday right after lunch. My list of pro’s and con’s: Pros 1. Beautiful recreational area. In the middle of no where so I had no service, but ISN’T THATTHEPOINTOF A RETREAT. Even so, wifi is provided yes!(Ok that is like, three pro’s in one) 2. Free wifi(as aforementioned) 3. Breakfast and dinner are provided(food is alright, best cafeteria food I’ve ever had in the US, for sure) 4. Horses and horseback riding! 5. Rustic living and shared space — I liked how the living area was one lodge(we lived in the TreeTopper lodge), which includes a kitchen, fridge, microwave and coffee maker, to name a few appliances. Our rooms were seconds away from the main living room area. 6. Common areas like the conference center are open all night, if reserved! 7. Swimming pool! 8. Huge rooms– a queen, a king, and a pull out couch. Cons 1. Half court basketball court 2. Everything smells a little old and dusty. Especially musty because of all the humidity and old wood. 3. We had to figure out our own thing about lunches 4. Cost of horseback riding for an hour is $ 35(not covered in your lodging/meal cost). 5. Pull out couch bed sucks. 6. Balcony behind each room will lock behind you, so make sure you have your room key. As I calculated the results of my pro and con list, I realized the pros greatly outweighed the cons. A great and beautiful venue for any retreat from the city. Apparently, it’s also a great venue for a wedding, as we noticed at least two weddings happen in the two nights we were here!

My wife and I just spent 3 days and two nights at the resort, and had a great time. The staff is friendly and will help with anything you need. We had the buffet dinner and it was very good. When we asked for a differant dessert the waiteress brought us a brownie with ice cream. The cabin was awesome, no kitchenette just a microwave. But we did not plan on eating in. The only problem was the hot tub it never got hot, just warm. Thats the reason for 4 stars. No problem with our motorcycle the staff even let us know which roads were the most scenic. I highly recomend this location

Used the resort for a team building workshop and it exceeded all expectations. The cabins were well kept, comfortable very large and fairly priced. Full size spa tube in cabin was great. The team stayed in the mountain laurel complex and it too exceeded all expectations. Very large rooms with a great hospitality suite and the blossom meeting room was large enough to comfortably accommodate a group thee times our size. The food at the secret garden was expertly prepared and cooked to perfection. The dessert, home made chocolate pie, was great. The hideaway for the group lunch was great food as well. We had the toco buffet and it was well received by the clients team. All the servers were well trained, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel at home The sales staff went out of their way to accommodate your every need. Mary and Terri were great. What a great team to have working for you and your client. Their support staff with jerry leading them also were willing to do whatever it took to make your stay and meeting a success. Had horseback ride with all team members and Gary was great. His staff was excellent and extremely friendly and all riders enjoyed the incredible views of the national forrest. If you have time would highly recommend. The wagon dinner ride was worth every penny. The evening horse drawn wagon ride took about 30 minutes and was worth the effort. The area of the cookout was beautiful and our host, Gary Kraft, was a hoot. So many wonderful stories and the food prepared by chef Reggie was prepared to perfection. The pear and blackberry cobbler was excellent and complemented the smoked chicken and brisket perfectly. I would highly recommend to anyone doing a meeting or looking to escape the hustle and busyness of Atlanta

We love escaping to this rustic resort. The staff is extremely friendly. We were only able to stay 1 night, but they allowed us to check in early. We headed to a local winery that is just a short drive away. When we returned, we enjoyed the dinner buffet in the couples only restaurant. There was prime rib, chicken Alfredo, and blackened tilapia. Sides were rolls, mashed potatoes, green beans, steamed veggies… I might be forgetting some things. The food isn’t 5 star dining, but it’s good comfort food. For dessert, there was delicious apple cobbler. I asked if there was ice cream to go with it, and they brought some out. All the cabins have hot tubs, which is nice for relaxing. Ours was one of their country cabins that has been updated. We enjoyed it. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and has lots of options like eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, bacon, and sausage. There are some things that could use updating, but we really enjoyed our nice, quiet getaway.

Rented a cabin for a few days. We had the«rustic style.» Were blown away with how big it turned out. High ceilings, huge living room with a fire place. Nice big hot tub with large windows overlooking woods. Kings size bed. Soooo comfortable! Our breakfast was complimentary every morning. It was buffet style and varied every day. Loved biscuits and gravy. Pancakes were one of the favs as well. Everything tastes delicious though. Because it was just the two of us, we ate on the side that catered to couples. Cute little place with huge windows. Fresh flowers on every table. We had our two dogs with us and there were a few scenic trails that we took with them on. We enjoyed the fact that stables were right on site. We went for a trail ride once, but we walked over there just to pet horses on daily basis. The staff there were friendly and they enjoyed visits from our fluff balls. Overall customer service was amazing. Friendly faces everywhere and everyone was eager to please. The resort is close to nearby town and the falls. We will most definitely go back. We had a fantastic time there!
