Worst Pancakes EVER!!! Taste like cardboard. Waited 35 minutes for my food. Never offered a refill after waiting over a half hour for my food. Next time I’ll wait at I hop.

If there were no stars I would rate it that. The service was horrible, staff was unprofessional, and the food was disgusting. I will never come here again.

Stopped here on a Sunday morning. They seated us immediately. I expected for them to be busy. Waited close to an hour for our food. Our waiter was awesome but he was clearly overwhelmed. The women’s bathroom was atrocious. To sum it up: Food was okay, waiter was nice, they are understaffed, and the restaurant is dirty.

Stopped here for breakfast on our road trip down south. Haven’t had Dennys in ages. Not the cleanest place, but the waitress was super nice and friendly. The food was good, we had no complaints. Beats waffle house!

Not sure how to put it, Dennys here has slipped to the bottom. Not a fresh food kind of place. Ordered the country fried steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli and mac and cheese. Order came and I got an over salted piece of leather, microwaved broccoli, instant mash potatoes and reheated mac and cheese. The topper is that I got milk gravy on the leather and brown gravy on the potatoes. Per the server it’s under new a manager and clearly this person has no clue how to run a successful resturant. Maybe it runs higher up, but this place has lost my respect.

Smelly, dirty, 70s motel décor, managers’ yelling in the resturant & don’t take well to customer complaints. This place is so dirty, they keep the lights dimed at night, but hey. you could win a lucky hair from your dirty plate! I challenge you to look inside your cup or silverware. The water leaks from the ceiling and 3 broken drains from the ice makers have somthing to do with the smell. You are safe if you don’t drink the coffee or ice, the waitor prepared my salad & grabbed lemmons gloves free. Don’t blame the servers, they are cleaning, cooking, working as hard as they can & are forced to work every holiday or be fired for $ 2 hr.

Words are inadequate to describe how crummy this place is, but we will give it a try: It is the shi**y mid 70s motorhome of the restaurant world. It is dirty, run down, and generally a dump. I give it 2 stars because the service is good and the food is ok. Typical fare, nothing spectacular. There are plenty of better options for breakfast, we stopped in because of proximity to an appointment.

This denny’s is okay. I really wish they would do some updating to the restaurant, it seems old and dull. I come here at least once a month with my family and never have I gotten sick. Since we come here often we always get the same server and he is always very nice and takes care of us. The staff is very friendly and the food is always hot and tasty. The amount of you food you get is actually a lot compared to IHOP.

food poisoning!!! never eat here!!! My son and husband had chicken tenders. They were tainted. Salmonella. My son threw up three times and was sick all weekend. Don’t go here. Ever. Don’t go!!!

Good breakfast food. We both had the build your own Grand Slam. Get the hash browns mixed with cheese and bacon. Good stuff!
Service was good and you can’t beat the price. Only drawback is the restaurant is old and needs renovating but don’t let that stop you from eating here.

Services is good but the food is not very good. Meat was burned and breakfast skillet was so hot that I had to wait 20 minutes to eat it. It was not enjoyable at all.

Food was delicious, I was pleasantly surprised! Wife had the pecan pancakes and chicken sausage, I thought the sausage would be weird, but it was actually good! I had a burger for breakfast, with bacon and swiss cheese, OMG it was like a «professional» burger you’d get at an upscale burger joint. It was perfectly seared on the outside, juicy, and the toppings were the right amount and fresh. I was like, WOW, this is a burger from Denny’s? Staff was super nice and restaurant was clean.

Wish I could give zero. Never received discount after terrible service. Spoke with Mgr after food was cold and they remade. Was told «we took off the birthday grand slam», which was FREE anyways! Won’t be returning thanks to acting mgrs condescending attitude and apathy. Ghetto restaurant!

Pros: Service is friendly and welcoming, food is better than most other Denny’s I’ve tried.
Cons: Location is in need of a renovation, interior is a bit dim.
Founded in 1953, Denny’s continues to be known a full-​service pancake house/​coffee shop/​fast casual family restaurant chain. Denny’s is known for always being open, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert around the clock. Now with over 1,700, I decided to take to Unilocal and provide my review of this ONE.
I think that this Denny’s still has a coffee shop feel. Although this location is just a quarter mile off I-​95, it’s in a small shopping area of Dale City, it still feels like it’s off the beaten path. The building itself looks somewhat older and not as welcoming as other Denny’s. The interior is somewhat dim, but still has a good ambiance, with plenty of booths and tables for both small and larger crowds. I’ve seen a group of about 20 people there.
Service has always been great. There has been once or twice where it may have taken a few extra minutes to be sat down or get the check, but everything else has been great.
Now the great part of THIS Denny’s, although most may think that the food is going to be the same at every Denny’s, the food at THIS Denny’s exceeds those I’ve had at others. I only go to Denny’s for the breakfast, so I can only speak on that. I usually order the All-​American Slam (Murica!). At most other Denny’s the plates are these oval shape half-​plates, at this Denny’s they are big round plates! The serving sizes seem to be a bit bigger than at other Denny’s. I know it’s hard to screw up eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, and toast, but I think they do a great job on all of it. The eggs are always made right, hash browns are crispy on the outside and softer on the inside, the bacon isn’t over cooked, and the toast is toasted to perfection.
Overall, although I recommend driving to find a non-​chain family diner, if you’re in the mood for Denny’s, I would recommend THIS Denny’s. There are many Denny’s, but if I had a choice to choose one, I would recommend this one. The food at this location still seems to have the quality that I visioned Denny’s to start off with, regardless of the look of the location. Don’t just a book by it’s cover, judge it by the contents inside!

I have been to a lot of different Dennys in the past and this one just completely change on how I view Dennys. Yo this Dennys was super ghetto first of all. So it was late at night, me and my friends were a lil hungry so we decided to go to the closest Denny’s in Woodbridge. As we arrived there, we walked in it was kind of dark like only couple of lights were on. The lights were flickering reminding me the set of the Walking Dead. No one was behind the counter or anything. So we waited a few min. It took like 5 mim for this ghetto looking mi dang fool to sit us down. By the way the host is the waiter. How ghetto is that!!! So he took our orders and asked what beverages would we like to drink. Most of us chose water so he went to go get our water. After that I felt like he disappeard for like an hour because our orders were literally taking forever. Then he came back out of nowhere to bring us the food. The portion was really small. I felt like he was eating some bits of the food as he brings it out. The food was also cold like its been there for 15min on the counter. Anyway it was a bad experience. Not coming back here ever again! By the way there were like no managers around. Like whos even running this placee.

Just another typical Denny’s. We were a group of four and arrived at around 11pm and were served well by the waiter. The food was OK and the service was not slow.

Went to this Denny’s appx 1:45pm today. Not many patron’s in this Denny’s at this hour of the day. An Oder hit me as soon as we walked thru the doors. Smelled like sewage spillage or something similar to that. That did not deter me tho’ as I sat down. The wait staff were friendly & seemed professional. However, a young man began to sweep the foyer and swept the dirt and dust into the path of our table so we got up and moved. Thankfully I covered my drink so that dust wouldn’t end up in it. Much to my chagrin, the food arrived hot, and was tasty. It’s now 10:05pm & I have not experienced any food Bourne illnesses, so things must be ok.

Updating my review as I’ve had good experiences at Denny’s lately. We always get takeout though… The few times I’ve eaten there the service was so slow I just don’t want to deal with it. We like the food though so we call in orders on Friday nights sometimes. The food is usually very good & they have the best nachos. I’m hooked on the nachos. I believe they are under new management & things seem much better. So we are back to getting food there regularly because the food is good, there’s a large selection, it’s close to home & the orders usually come up pretty quickly. The customer service is more attentive than it used to be.

This place is quite terrible. The service here stinks and the quality of the food is disgusting. The waiter/​waitress barely ever comes to refill our drinks or to see if we need anything. The food is not even hot, it’s like after they cook it they just leave it on the table for 10 minutes before the waiter comes to pick it up. This place doesn’t even rank with IHOP or silver diner.

Worst experience at Denny ‘s ever. Every meal was botched with forgotten parts of the meal.
Of the 6 meals that were ordered, only one came out correctly. There were missing ingredients that were clearly supposed to be in the meals. For example, how do you forget the BACON in the BACON Avocado Burrito? When we asked why our red velvet pancake puppies didn’t come with the cream cheese icing that was depicted in the photo and description, we were told that was because no one liked it so that’s why it wasn’t given to us. Really??? We asked for it anyway, and it was DELICIOUS! If it’s in the photo and description, give the customer the item!
Finally we had to talk to the manager who didn’t even care or offered to make up for it. So I asked for a discount and they barely offered a 10% discount. Very disappointing and dis-​satisfactory customer service. Will never come back.
When it’s pointed out that they screwed up, they should really try to make the customer feel better about their experience not make it seem like a burden.
