I bought two motorcycles through AMS. The second bike was a model that was being phased out, but Marty, the sales guy, spent time to track down the exact model and color that I was looking for from another dealer. He made both sales processes smooth and pain free. I’ve also bought Dainese equipment from them as well. All in all it was a no pressure, pain free environment.
The service shop has been a great experience too. Jordan, the master tech, worked with me to track down all these different parts to customize my motorcycle. He hand fabricated some parts for me, and made sure that I was happy with the way things turned out. He spent a lot of hours on my motorcycle to make sure it came out exactly the way I wanted.
Take the time to talk to them. They’re all pretty friendly and willing to work with you on what you want.

As much as I love my Ducati, these guys made me want to sell it. My initial call, the booked me two weeks out. The day of the appointment, I called 30 minutes after they opened to confirm and was told that since my bike wasn’t there promptly at 10am, they’d have to reschedule me two weeks again. For how expensive they are, you’d expect much better service. I was very happy with my Ducati dealer in my previous city but I won’t be going here.

First of all let’s start with the sales department that would be Marty. Buying was so easy and pain free. Marty gave me a the best deal he could do right from the get go and it was a great deal. He followed up with us on the financing and got us a great rate within 30 minutes. Since then and many mods later I have gotten to know the service department real well. Jordan, Nick, Dan, and Stu are all top notch. They know their stuff better than any other shop I have ever used. More importantly they always try to make sure that I get the most for my money, and not necessarily the most profit for them. And then there is Jeff when you buy or service your Ducati at AMS you get to go with them on the track and get some riding tips from both Jeff Nash the owner, and his group of track junkies that are all much better riders than me, and probably most riders. In short if you like motorbikes, and you like to buy and service yours with people that are just as enthusiastic as you about them this is the place to go. Thanks AMS.

I bought my motorcycle from AMS about 3 months ago and the sales process was educational, hassle-​free and convenient. In the first 2 weeks I lost my temp tags and they replaced them promptly. The owner (Jeff Nash) even laminated it and a cinched down my license plate holder himself. A few weeks later I was unlucky enough to have my bike backed into and knocked over. I brought my bike into their service shop and gave them all the insurance information needed. A week after that the insurance adjuster called me asking if an estimate had been done yet because he wanted to close my case and then another few days went by and my ESTIMATE had still not been completed. Finally a few days later it was done, that only took a mere 11days or so. Now it has been over 2 weeks since my estimate and the work has still not been completed which is frustrating to say the least. I love my bike and would still recommend Ducati to anyone but I will now caution everyone that their service is slow as can be and that they should at least consider another bike or another dealer. Hopefully my future experiences are more enjoyable. Being bikeless for a month for some relatively minor repairs is less than ideal.

This is the go-​to shop in DFW for high end motorcycling. The Ducati marquee is steeped in racing heritage, and this local shop grew from the same racing passion. Owner Jeff Nash — 6-​time AMA Ducati champion, works directly with Ducati North America with bike launches, frequent demo days, and sponsors Ducati-​only trackdays for enhanced rider education at nearby Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, Texas.
The AMS crew is filled with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. The technicians are all certified, with race engine building experience. All of the employees are not only riders themselves, but also knowledgeable Ducatisti. There have been several occasions where I chose the Do-​It-​Yourself route on some routine maintanance and when something unexpected arose, a quick phone call had me speaking with a knowledgeable employee who could walk me through the steps over the phone as if he was looking directly at my Ducati (a model long since discontinued).
While the AMS shop offers a focused lineup of Ducati only bikes and apparel, the shop is not purely track-​oriented. The shop does put on regular track days to help enthusiasts get the most out of their motorcycles, the shop also hosts a regular event lineup including frequent Saturday lunch grilling at the shop, and dinner rides to local DFW eateries (and I quite like that the choices are primarily Italian).
The quality and expediency of service is among the best in the country. There is no delay in parts as AMS has a large parts inventory and stocks nearly all accessories an owner may be hunting.
The bike inventory is exceptional at AMS. The complete Ducati lineup has been available in the showroom every time I have visited, and the staff is quick to offer a demo ride to a customer who is interested in a purchasing a particular model. There is no risk of having to buy a bike without a thorough understanding of how each feature is used, and an actual riding experience. Advanced Motorsports’ close relationship with Ducati USA has made their warranty work very prompt, and its also allowed the shop to regularly get limited edition models on the showroom floor, such as the former Fila, Xerox, Bayliss, and current Neimen Marcus, Nicky Hayden, Desmosedici, and Corse Edition bikes.
