They are simply terrible. How they are even still in business with how they handle customer service will remain a mystery to me forever. I’m in my 3rd month of dealing with Appliance Geeks. My current phase is waiting for a refund due to their ineptitude to replace the ice maker in my fridge. I finally told them, after many failed returned calls, cancelled appointments, and«parts issues», to just mail me a refund for what I prepaid. I’m still waiting on that, but I’m guessing I’m just going to have to make the trek to Frisco to collect my money myself. Taz, the field tech, was very nice and understanding about the situation, and I don’t fault him for the main office’s incompetence. Overall, I would stay far, far away from Appliance Geeks if I were you. Just to compare, I called Sears a few days ago, they came out the following morning, and replaced my ice maker on the first visit same day, for $ 120 less than Appliance Geeks charged me.

My experience was AWFUL! It took 3 months, lots of arguing and finally going for help to the executive offices of Kenmore to get the problem resolved. They installed the WRONG icemaker in my refrigerator… TWICE! And, argued with me that it must be something other than their responsibility. Mistakes are human, errors happen but being rude and discourteous is just NOTOK! I forgave Taz being 3 hours late for an appointment but I will never forgive either of them for thier attitude. They talk more than they listen and are not a company I would ever do business with again. When a technician from A&E Factory Service came today he diagnosed the problem immediately, replaced the icemaker and, when he spoke with Michael on the phone, he was shocked at his tone of voice and his excuses. My refrigerator repair took 4 appointments over a 5 week period. The technician never seemed to have the proper part on his truck. Though appointments were scheduled during a 3 hour window, no technician EVER arrived within that window and was often hours and hours unapologetically late(once as much as 6 hours late); this despite my continuous unreturned calls to their office to check on the status of the repairman. Unless you want an exercise in frustration, I would never utilize this company to repair anything.
