This store is a Dallas institution for a reason. They have a great selection of Chopard watches, which are notoriously hard to find in-stock. I live in Beverly Hills, and Bachendorfs’ selection is better than any store I’ve seen in the LA area. Collette was very knowledgeable about the product & a delight to shop with. I probably could have found this model online from a «discount watch site» for $ 1,000 or so less, but it was worth the extra cost to have real professional assistance, to support a family business, and to purchase from an authorized dealer(for full warranty & assurance the watch isn’t fake :)) Thanks!

Will not come back to this location, maybe the one off Preston might be better. Same experience twice. I only returned the second time to pick up my watch that I had dropped off. Customer service skills need improvement.

My husband and I came in the other night looking for Mikimoto Pearls and were treated very poorly. The lady didn’t offer information on the pearls and didn’t give us size, grade or gold info. She just told us this is all we have. She just wanted to get back to talking with her other co workers. Your better going almost anywhere else!

Ring experience was unique as I didn’t know anything about the location and I walked to the second floor to see an armed guard and people behind bulletproof glass. I was buzzed in and everyone was very friendly. I enjoyed the selection and was able to find a wedding band for my now husband. I did have an issue with the ring not being engraved as I requested and then when I picked it up the week of the wedding, it was engraved incorrectly. They handled it professionally, were apologetic and were able to resolve.

I’ve never felt as slighted as when I went to Bachendorf’s to shop for accessory jewelry for my wife and a Rolex for me. They acted very superior to me and treated me like an child. Their pricing was out of line and were not willing to work with me even from a price match perspective. Bad business ethics. Also, if you aren’t dressed like a million dollars, that’s exactly the way you are treated. Maybe I would’ve been treated better if I opened up my wallet ahead of time to show them I can afford anything in their store. Thanks for making my choice easy.

We came in here the other night to look at engagement rings and settings; they had a fairly dismal selection, mostly solitares or solitares with pave bands. They do have some halos also. They do stock Tacori, which is a pretty popular engagement ring designer these days. The saleslady was polite enough I suppose, but wasn’t helpful in finding other rings for me to try on and I think she also looked a bit down on us because we weren’t dressed to the nines. She did tell us what the prices were for each of the rings we liked right off the bat, which was refreshing compared to our experiences elsewhere. One thing to note is that they have their own inventory stock information and if you ask them to write down the style numbers for you, you won’t be able to find the ring later on the designer’s website using the style numbers. We left somewhat disappointed with our experience, as Bachendorf’s does advertise itself as being the première luxury jeweler in Dallas.

Bachendorf’s is soooo much better than Ben Bridge. Everyone that worked there was super nice, and greeted us almost as soon as we crossed the threshold into the store. The lady helping us was very nice, and even complimented my friend on the watch he was wearing. They have an excellent selection of watches, probably the largest I have ever seen. And so many brands to choose from! Their wall of Rolex’s was huge! They also had a great selection of Tag’s as well. I would definitely buy my next watch from here.
