Blackjack Pizza

This was/​is definitely a WIN! Wonderful family owned business here. Glad we stopped in and decided to have the pizza. The family was warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. Really a gem! This will be our pizza place from now on!

Start working at a major company in South Dallas. Myself and friends was looking for some thing to eat. And i happen to come by blackjack ‘s.all of my co worker warned me not to go in. but i am one for supporting black owed business. .I should have taken their advise, Because I have never been treated so rudely before in my life. No wonder it was 12:00 noon and no one was there. Did’nt get to try the food, because the service was trash. I will never spend my money where the people are treated so badly. The whole company i work for, stated that’s why they don’t eat there. And all the employees that work there or Rude.

The burger and fries I had were delicious. It’s huge! The sweet tea was also delicious just water it down lol that works for me because it lasts longer lol it’s true southern tea lol The prices are great as well. Just make sure to bring cash. I will be going there to try their pizza next!

Happened upon this place today by mistake. Well just like penicillin some mistakes end up being treasures. The pizza at Blackjack is AMAZING. Let’s start with the crust… crispy, buttery, the word delicious doesn’t do it justice. The sauce? My heavens the sauce. fresh, chunky and just enough to play well with the toppings without taking over. The toppings are plentiful and very tasty and the cheese has spectacular texture and is very stringy. Hubby and I shared a large Dealer’s choice (pepperoni and sausage) and left with half of the pie for tomorrow’s lunch. Don’t be deterred by the façade, if you judge this book by it’s cover you’ll miss out on one of Dallas’s classics.

Local pizza place but the burgers are awesome! And you can’t beat the amazing customer service. Everyone there is friendly and make you feel like family. The sock it to me cake is out of this world !! And the chess pie was great too. For a local place they rival any big chain fast food joint !!

I eaten here for over ten years… it is a pizza joint but I’ve always gone for the burgers!!! IF YOU GET THEIR SWEET TEA GET A GLASS AND FILL HALFWAY WITH WATER!!! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED… LMAO. If you dont and your teeth fall out then dont blame me… If you pull up and spot a crackhead just tell them you only use credit and walk in… it’s that simple. Well worth the trip down MLK.

Blackjack Pizza, what can I say? Oh my goodness. Now, I have never had the pizza, but the burger basket will make you smack yourself and who ever else is near you. The tea will send you into a suga coma. the price is very, very reasonable and you will be full and happy at the end of the meal.
Go for a meal, it is really good, just don’t be in a hurry.

Now this is not a five star fancy neon lite draw your attention to this place. This is a hole in the wall. They are not fast food. BUT this is one of the best burgers you can ever eat. The sweet tea is not even on any rating chart, it’s off those charts. the frys are great I have never had a pizza here, just one of the best burgers. Go during the day, don’t be afraid, just go in and order a GREAT burger

Blackjack is a neighborhood place I’ve now been to three or four times. The outside of the building might put you off a little and you’ll find the dining room somewhat cluttered with storeroom overflow.
Now, the important parts. The pizza is very good and the price reasonable, they will fix it anyway you ask.; to go or eat it there.
My personal favorite here is a burger. I have a big appetite and I’ve indulged myself with double cheeseburgers more than once. These guys are serving up a delicious burger. Real meat and it doesn’t seem to me they are using preformed patties with questionable ingredients. Cooked on the griddle, bun toasted the same way and then finished up with plenty of lettuce, tomatoes and anything you want.
Go see Dorothy, Terry, Eric and the rest of the great crew at Blackjack. They are friendly, warm and make customers feel welcome. You can’t go wrong.

Great food and the sweet tea is great!!! If you want great priced food that taste great then you need to eat here! You will not be disappointed… Keep up the great job big mama and crew!!!

Burgers are very good and the Pizza is actually above average but that Sweet Tea I have no idea what they put in it but its awesome. This south Dallas spot is popular for a reason with the locals. If u ever in this area or at the state fair visit this spot

The cheeseburgers are great and they taste like homemade. Onion rings are good too. This place is in the heart of sunny South Dallas on the main strip. They got a SWEET TEA that will give you a suga attack. ignore the crackheads. tell them you’ve got a credit card and no cash
