One of the worst experianc of food and service. What an ignorant and rude woman. I will never come back.

$ 11 lunch buffet. It was supposed to come with a dessert, but they, for no given reason, did not have dessert that day(no alternative offered, I can’t even remember if «sorry» was included in the sentence). A piece of chicken tasted pretty foul, and it was rather pink when I examined it after ceasing to eat it(I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say maybe it’s the seasoning/crockpot method of cooking and not simply undercooked f’ing chicken). Most of the meat was extremely boney(like you had to eat it with your fingers to navigate the bone/meat system contained in each little piece), and most of the food was at room temperature. Flavors were not bad, that’s about the only positive, but pretty standard Indian. Nothing special. I did feel the need to visit the bathroom near the end of plate one — but more out of a «whatever you’re putting in here we need to get out immediately» kind of way. I don’t usually write reviews like this, but this was a particularly crappy experience when there are so many other great options around I feel like I wasted my money, time, and potential to have a good meal on this place.

I called this morning at 11:15 to see if they were open. The woman replied with a rude yes, as if to say«of course, I picked up the phone didn’t I?» The reason I called was because the website is very vague and the online reviews are old and sparse. Says it’s a buffet on the website, but it isn’t. The buffet hot-hold is filled with Chicken Tikka, Chicken 65, curry okra, aloo gobi, and basmati rice. You can pay $ 7.99 for one meat, one veg, and rice. Or $ 8.99 for two meat and rice, no vegetable with this combo. The food is simply not very good. I can make a chicken tikka better than this and the 65 was full of gristle. I also got a massive bay leaf in the tikka. The naan is store-bought and hard. This is one of only two places that are not doing very well in the tunnels and the reason is clear. Sub-standard food and prices. Plus the rude woman means I will not be back. This place will be gone by Christmas. Update(2 hours after initial review): I have diarrhea. I repeat, I have diarrhea. I didn’t know my body was capable of expelling waste at this rate of speed. My hands are shaking and I feel like I’ve been shot in the stomach by a cannon ball.

I highly recommend the Indian buffett, now offered on select weekdays(I don’t know if they have a set schedule for it yet). I didn’t too much like the mushroom-based dish, but the mixed vegetable dish was really good(no way I’ll remember how to spell it, though). They had a dessert that resembled little donut balls, but they were served cold, and I didn’t really like that, either. Here is what I did like: The Chicken 65 is fairly spicy, but it wasn’t too hot for my tastes, and it is nice and tender. The naan is fresh and soft. They also had some mint chutney over by the dessert which was spectacular. I went back and spread that on some naan for my real dessert. I look forward to going back when the buffet has chicken tikka masala, which I have previously had there as a takeout item. Delicious! For those not interested in Indian buffet, they have a salad bar and a sandwich bar, which both look to be satisfactory, but I cannot really review.
