I was here today, ordered pepperoni and jalapeño pizza to take out, very good! Price was average and service was excellent.

Really good pizza, Friendly service, bad parking choices. But hey, its downtown Dallas. Parking is never good there. Anyhoo, would eat there again in a heartbeat. Did I mention how friendly they were?

Walked in from out of town not knowing what to really expect. The service was good, at least much better than the current town I live in, and they made our food quickly. Pretty sad that we could get a full pizza in less time than it would have taken us to go to McDonalds in Carlsbad, NM. The pizza itself was a great NY style pie. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and I watched as my kids devoured it. It was awesome! I would happily eat there again, anytime.

We stopped here after a day at the Perot museum and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. It was deserted for it being a Saturday afternoon, other than a couple of tables with families eating lunch. We ordered a 16 inch pepperoni and cheese pizza with a side of garlic cheese bread for 3 people. The pizza only took about 10 – 15 minutes to come out so not a bad wait time. I believe they make their own crust as we saw them making the dough in the kitchen. This pizza is the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. We finished every slice with nothing left over. Same with the garlic bread. I recommend this shop if you’re in Dallas, it’s the greatest. And the man who was working the counter was as nice as he could be!

Not great but it’s kinda a downtown staple. The pasta with meat sauce is watery and the pasta tastes like nothing but water it was cooked in. Interior is a bit grimey on the ceiling and had somewhat a funky smell. Not bad for something quick and easy but I most likely will not return with better options just a bit further walk.

Pizza is great, lasagna is amazing. Always great food, and the manager at night is hilarious and he is always in a great mood. Another bonus is they are open till 10pm on weekdays and 9pm on the weekends.

Looking for a no-frill NY-style pizza? Carmine’s is your place! I was looking for a light pizza snack, and when I walked in Carmine’s, I knew I came to the right place: 80s-style décor with black-and-white tiles and cleanliness enough only to pass health inspection — Definitely the same signs of all the Italian pizza joints I have been. Just as straightforward as the décor, the pizza was delicious in its simple beauty! I thought my slice of sausage pizza was comparable to New York’s famous Joe’s Pizza. Sometimes when you don’t want to deal with any extra stuff that conventional pizza has, Carmine’s really hit the spot. Each slice is a pricy $ 3.50 so unless you are not hungry, go for a whole pizza for $ 8. No matter what you get though, you won’t disappointed if you are searching for a straightforward NY-style pizza.

We ordered two pizzas for delivery on a Saturday night and it took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive(so order early); however, it was worth the wait! We got one plain cheese and one white with banana peppers. The white was out of this world! We also got a side of ranch which I highly recommend for ranch lovers like myself.(:

Skipping breakfast, and spending the day with the family walking through art exhibits and playing at the park, is enough to make any man start to consider the deeper questions: Who am I? Why am I here? Step by step, my depression deepened as I began to feel that I would never find the answer to my questions; when there amidst the rigid landscape of skyscrapers, lay the truth. Red plaid tablecloths, feisty Italian mob name, and fresh made calzones visible from my dismal place on the sidewalk. I walked in to the smell of fresh pizza, and a smile spread across my face. New York style pizza by the slice looked like the specialty, but that wouldn’t be enough to cure my existential crisis. I placed my order, and sat down to an oddly music-less environment. And within minutes, the fairly friendly, and non judgemental waitress was bringing a vegetarian pizza, calzone and wings for me, my wife, and my 1 year old. The pizza was nothing special, and the wings were the fattiest and least flavorful I’ve ever had, but that crust! That crust was why I was here. Enjoying the perfectly buttery, garlicky crunch with my family is the closest I’ve ever come to discovering my purpose in life. If you’re downtown visiting the DMA or Klyde Warren Park, and struggling with the deeper questions, then you need to stop by and grab a quick calzone or stromboli. They are just the right size for one medium sized stomach or 2 small ones. Feel free to skip the wings, and if you get a pizza stick with the meatier options.

The restaurant is located on a corner of San Jacinto and Harwood. The trees and tall buildings around provide a lot of shade. We’ve been here several times and almost always order pasta dishes. Service is always prompt and friendly!(Be sure to drop a few dollars in their tip bowl since the prices are so cheap!) Prices for pasta dishes are around $ 8 and we usually have leftovers! The sauces taste really fresh and vibrant and the pasta is cooked to perfection! This is one of our favorite places for Italian!

Delicious New York style pizza with quality ingredient’s. My favorite is the meat lovers. I like the fact they warm the pizza to a nice golden crunch amd not just sticking it in the oven for 30 seconds. Also like the fact they use tongs and not bare hands to handle the pizzas like other places. Their service is also fast and servers are courteous!

Ordered a sausage, mushroom, and black olive medium pizza for delivery. The delivery service was prompt. The pizza was mediocre. The toppings were sparse. The Italian sausage was tasteless as was the mozzarella cheese. Reviews have called this«thin crust NY style pizza». What we received was not what I would call«NY style«. Maybe we had to specify that particular crust. I am not planning on ordering from them again.

The california pizza is amazing. For 7 people at work we order the XL and still have leftovers. The food is always hot and fresh. Lastly, the delivery guy is wonderful. He is so nice to even go through security in our bldg to being our food up. We always take good care of him too. Keep up the great work!

Very good pizza at good prices, wings are good. Good casual Downtown environment. Parking might be the only problem if busy but it’s Downtown so don’t expect little traffic although in the afternoon it is ok. Clean place to eat. I would return.

Hoisted on a convenient corner location in the heart of downtown, I think I expected a New York style pizza joint to have a little more pizazz. I didn’t get to order anything other than pizza by the slice because I had a gaggle of kids with me. My bill was over $ 30 b/c I didn’t realize the kids would keep asking for more. The hostess did finally tell me «oh that would have been much cheaper if you had ordered a entire pie» but too little too late. Overall, I would say average pizza, average service. Can’t speak to the rest of the menu.

Technically just pizza. Similar to what you get anywhere else, but the difference being the slices are gigantic and loaded with toppings. I stay at the hotels downtown sometimes and this is one of the only places open at night. Something about a large slice, loaded with toppings, good bread, the right amount of late night greasy on a cold night. Tastes awesome. This place also gets big points for having excellent customer services. Super friendly staff.

It’s not just pizza ! Spaghetti with meatballs tasted really good. Served with duo of warm bread, it’ll fill every hungry diner up. Liking that they’re open up to 10 when most places see closed on sat night. Cashier lady was nice and friendly. Pizza is next.

I was in the mood to search for pizza slices again as I always do every once in a while in Dallas. So I decided to venture out into the downtown area and stumbled across Carmine’s Pizzeria. On appearance, it had a very authentic east coast pizzeria look. I noticed they offered quite a few selections on their menu. I ordered two slices of the meat lovers with a side of Caesar salad. The pizza was good. Piping hot(like I normally like it.) They offered good customer service and the meal was affordable. I also like the location. I’ll be back soon enough.

Horrible! I could’ve just thrown my money in the garbage and saved myself some time instead of eating there. I walked over to Carmine’s with my friend/coworker today, because we wanted to try something different. When we got there, the manager asked if we were ready to order and we politely replied that we need a second to look over the menu since it’s our first time there. The manager’s reply was«Uh… ok.» and looked over us to ask if anyone was ready to order. No suggestions, no «welcome to Carmine’s», no nothing. My friend ordered baked ziti and I ordered lasagna. It was $ 7.50 each with no drinks. We were given numbers and we waited for our order, 30 minutes of waiting. The whole time the guy kneading the pizza dough gawked at us as if we were there for his entertainment. Once we finally got our food and got back to the office, we were shocked at how disgusting our food looked. The container for mine was all wrapped up in aluminum foil, and when I opened it, burning hot grease leaked all over my hands. My lasagna looked like cheesy grease soup. There were two rows of very thin, overcooked noodles lining the sides of it. I tried to eat a few bites but it was so hard to stomach that I ended up throwing it away. Since I didn’t want to walk all the way back to the restaurant to get a refund, I ended up having to buy another lunch for myself. My friend’s order didn’t look much better; it just had more cheese on it. Maybe this place is good for pizza, if you’re into that reheated stuff, but the pasta is the worst I’ve ever seen. I’ll never go back, and I’ll make sure to warn all my coworkers.

Hot damn this is the best pizza I’ve had in ages. Pizza is such a personal thing, but for what it’s worth, here we go. It’s New York style, and I advocate getting extra cheese because I was making inappropriate noises the whole time I ate it, and I’m pretty sure that was the thing that put it over the top. I’m ecstatic they deliver to my area so Carmine’s and I may be seeing a lot of each other. There are 2 things that will really get in the way of that however. First of all, their website doesn’t work because it says the owner is «over bandwidth.» So they kinda need to figure out their website needs. And the other is $$. It’s definitely not unreasonable really, it was $ 20 for a large pizza with 2 – 3 toppings and then add tip onto that.(Half pepperoni, half onion. Hey what can I say, my boyfriend already signed the lease with me, I can have onions if I want to. And extra cheese on the whole thing because NOMMMM.) My point is that the price wasn’t stellar. It’s harder to be whimsical, which is probably best for my belly anyway. Maybe their website has coupons? I don’t know. Delicious, delicious, delicious. Not too greasy and the answer to every Friday night dinner question ever. Also highly recommend for post-drinking needs. Divine.
