I had a great experience here for lunch today. Everyone working here was very friendly and had a huge smile on their faces. The fried okra was definitely the best part of my lunch. Giving it 3 stars on the meat quality in comparison to other TX’s BBQ places and an extra star just how awesome the okra was and friendly customer service.

Had pulled pork and cheese sausage both were very delicious. We didn’t have to wait long and there was outside seating! Highly recommend it to anyone!

Would give this location a ZERO if I could. Ordered (13) deluxe boxed lunches for an IMPORFTANT meeting downtown to be delivered BY 11:30. By noon, our customers were sitting in a conference room with NO delivery in site. When I called their phone number, it just rang and rang. Then they picked up the phone and just hung it up. FINALLY, this location picked up the phone and said the food was on it’s way, couldn’t say WHEN and treated me like a nuisance for asking why it was late! UNPROFESSIONAL… do NOT order delivery or rely on this location for any important meeting or luncheon!!!

It was about the only thing open downtown. I’m in no hurry to go back but the brisket wasn’t bad. Pretty large portions for the cost.

Eat here regularly, and the brisket is melt in your mouth, and chicken super flavorful. You will want to give the Chicken Caesar a try if you want to be on the light side. The selection of starches and veg are well maintained, and they turn over quickly enough to keep their integrity. I am a big fan of the quick in and out for lunch. For those who like to end on a sweet tooth don’t forget the soft serve, and the Hershey syrup on the side!

If you like really tough ribs– come here! I seriously almost chocked because it felt like splintered, chewed-on sunflower seeds going down my throat.
If you like really small meat portions– come here! Yes ladies, this may be the place for you dainty eaters!
If you don’t care about BBQ but really like free soft serve ice cream– come here!
I’ve tried this place a few times and considering its prime location across from my work, I would suggest this place wake up since they are serving professionals. Never will I return, Dickey’s!
