I got a 1/3lb cheeseburger combo and it was $ 9. I have zero complaints. The fries were fresh, hot, and perfect. They’re not salted but the ketchup packets are very salty, so it’s good they don’t salt them. Altho, had they been salted hot, I probably would not have used ketchup. They’re my favorite kind of fries, crispy edges, fluffy inside and slightly squishy. The portion was twice as much as I could eat, but I loved every single one. The burger was good. Not great, but better than MickeyD’s and cooked to order. It was tasty, hot and smelled amazing. It smelled better than it tasted, actually, but I would definitely get it again. Bonus points for strawberry soda in the fountain.

Fantastic sausage gyro! It had really fresh tasting lettuce and tomatoes and the meat seemed to be a good quality for how cheap the combo was. Super yummy.

The cheeseburger and fries was just fine. The patty was kind of overdone and bland, but it was hot and cooked to order made how I wanted it. I would say it’s one of the best options in the food court there. I’m going to continue to try the rest of their menu based on my experience with the burger and fries.

Fast and friendly nothing spectacular outside of that. They will customize almost any burrito for you breakfast type foods so they have a little degree of flexibility the beats many of the other places inside the plaza. Things are little bit overpriced with the drinks at 2.25.

Far better burger than I expected by the place’s appearance! Ziggy’s is in the Plaza of the Americas food court and it’s pretty unassuming, tucked next to McDonald’s. No line at lunch? Was a little worried… Ordered a veggie burger with mustard, cheese and all the veggies(tomato, lettuce, pickle, and onions) and made it a combo with fries and drink. Probably took longer than some people would want to wait(about 10 minutes). When I opened it up, I was very pleasantly surprised. Aromas of toasted bun and onions. Bun was nicely toasted on the inside and outside, veggie patty was tasty, fixins good, cheese melty, etc. Fries could have used some salt, but the ketchup helped! All in all, for a burger combo under $ 10, it was worth going and I will be back!

For lunch, stick with the burgers and fries. The rest of the stuff is really awful. The so called bbq looks like it came out of an old baby diaper. The wife that takes your order cannot understand a custom type order. So, don’t count on «no this, or add that.» Mr. Ziggy is a nice little chap and makes it know with his little sign that although he is Middle Eastern, he still love America.

Why can’t I give this place zero stars? The chopped brisket was hands down the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. It looked and tasted like Manwich. I can’t speak to the other food they offer, but if you’re looking for good BBQ avoid this place at all costs.

Walked over here from the Sheraton during A-Kon(ummm), and I thought the brisket sandwich was way tasty and flavorful. I was feeling cheap and opted for adding a single side rather than getting a combo plate, and the potato salad was good as well– though not fabulous. The line was slow-moving(though it was A-Kon, so the whole of the Plaza of the Americas was swamped), but the food came out in a reasonable amount of time from when I placed my order. I also noticed a semi-official sign that was kind of hidden in the right-hand corner saying they were ranked one of the best burgers(I think) in Dallas by the Observer… or somebody. Sorry I’m worthless. But I was a fan of my brisket sandwich.

It’s almost too bad this place is called Ziggy’s Barbecue, ’cause the bbq is the least of its offerings. The burgers and gyros are the thing here. Both are really good, and they beat the pants off most of the other fast food places in Plaza of the Americas. Lots of people work within 3 blocks of Ziggy’s: folks, I promise you, you all should try it out.

I’ve had the barbecue… it was okay. But you have to try the Gyro Platter. This has to be listed as a Greek place because the gyro meat rivals that at the high dollar restaurants. And it’s served at a fast food price. Located in Plaza of the America’s food court, you wouldn’t expect to find such tasty food. And if you’re in a hurry then you better get in line at Micky D’s. They don’t move as fast as the words fast food would imply. But the wait is worth it. I’ve also had a good breakfast sandwich and tasty burger. Each time you get a side of fries the toss in a jalapeño cheese potato ball. Those things are addictive. Four will run you a buck, but gee… they taste so good. Get the gyro and four of those things and you are set.

When’ you’re staying at the Adam’s Mark Hotel and feeling like having a burger, but don’t want to pay the hotel prices. Take a walk on over to the food court to Ziggy’s for a Burger and some fries at a reasonable price. Portions, Taste and price were all good. Give it a try.
