With so many of these Chicken and Rice restaurants all over the Metroplex i’m starting to wonder why !! This place is across the street from the Original Chicken and Rice ~ A friend recommended this place so here I am. They specialize in fried chicken strips in what looks like a tempura type batter and Rice. My first mistake was not ordering their specialty ~ Instead I had a taste for hot wings(HATEDIT !!) These wings were just awful, tasted battered then dipped into a substandard wing sauce, as for the rice(my mom told me that If I cant say anything nice don’t say anything at all) … Okay after my moment of silence, I was able to convert the rice into an edible dish ~ I chopped up some fresh green onions, scrambled up a couple of eggs with soy sauce and refried the rice in sesame oil added some onion and garlic powder. Then it was edible ~ But it would have been cheaper and tastier for me to just cook up some hot wings and make a batch of fried rice.

As you can tell by the name of the Restaurant, This place specialized in Chicken and Rice. There are two reasons this place received one star from me. Chicken and Rice. My husband and I ordered 10 piece Hot wing(Extra hot) And Orange Chicken/Fried Rice Combo. First of all, Fried Rice tasted like nothing(Like brown colored regular rice with couple of frozen green peas and carrot pieces) Egg roll tasted right out of box. Orange chicken also tasted instant. Hot wings was the kind they coat with fried chicken batter first then fry and coated with nasty hot wing sauce after it come out of oil. Just horrible! Good thing we got it to go, we had to come home and pimp the Fried rice(Re-fry with Cooked Eggs with our own seasonings and Soy sauce top it with Sesame oil) in order for us to have nice meal. This place fails big time.
