I thought they did a great job cleaning my clothes and the service was fine. My only problem was that when I picked up my clothes, they had safety-pinned an expensive white skirt to a paper hanger(I’m assuming because they ran out of clip hangers). This left 4 permanent and noticeable holes in my nice skirt. I wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be returning.

Always on time, always courteous, and recently they returned a $ 20 bill I had stupidly left in a suit pocket and would not accept a $ 10 reward because the cashier stressed he was just doing his job. Dry cleaning can get expensive quickly around this area of Dallas. Dixie Cleaners not only does a good job, I trust them. Everyone has restaurants and bars they recommend to their friends new to Dallas. I would urge any DFW debutantes to trust Dixie Cleaners to keep them looking fresh.

Unsatisfied with the service. On one occasion, they damaged and expensive tie and I requested they fix it; they blamed the manufacturer for the ~$ 50+ tie not taking to their dry cleaning. White slacks were brought in and were blemished upon pick up: a light brown blemish that looked like a burn mark from their pressing. The front clerk admitted that sometimes the pressing might leave a mark and I requested they redo the item; upon retrieval, the blemish was not fixed and the clerk was aloof of it and insinuated that it was already blemished. Wanting further explanation, she retorted: «I’m not going to argue with you.» and prompted any complaints to made with someone else, the owner presumably: unsatisfactory and careless service for fancy ties and white slacks. General items are typically without incident and standard service but please be forewarned that this location does not perform well for fancy ties and white garments. They discount Village residents and this is a positive; the inattention and irresponsibility to some special items is a negative. As the old saying goes: «buyer beware» or «shop at your own risk.» For general items, alright; for special items you should look elsewhere and pay the extra fee for getting clothes done right, e.g., I’ve never had an incident at Comet. So, if you’re a Village resident, use up the discount for general clothes; take special items elsewhere and save yourself the hassle of having a clerk or such blame you for their mistakes.

I had just moved in and needed a new cleaner. I told the lady up front that I needed my shirts turned around in two days which she said was no problem. I came to pick up my shirts on the third day for a business trip and none of them were ready to go, aside from one brand new dress shirt which had tears in the breast and buttons. Upon my return the clerk finally had my clothes but had no response for my shirts which were ruined.(they were dropped off tags still on new) After 2 months of badgering and calling, manager has still yet to return my calls about the shirts. This place is a rip off, Go across Greenville to the cleaners in the Strip mall next to the yogurt shop. 10 X Better

I dropped three suits and blouse off at 7AM Thursday morning and they told me my clothes would be done at 5PM the following morning. I went in Saturday to pick up, all together cost me less than $ 30! I am amazed by their service, my clothes are neatly pressed, and the ladies behind the counter were very smiley and chipper. I’ve found my dry cleaning spot!
