McDonald’s

McDonald’s is McDonald’s wherever you go… But this one charges me for sauce with my chicken nuggets o.O. Maybe because they never ate their chicken nuggets but eating it without any dipping sauce is like eating tree bark. I’ve never been charged for sauce for nuggets ever, but today I found out I never really lived.

Neighborhood atmosphere with people sharing conversations. Shirley is wonderful at counter and makes you feel very welcome. Nice fast breakfast

I’d like to apologize to the young woman working the speaker tonight, who I was rude to. I had been having a very hard night and was rude to someone for no reason. She did a great job at handling my negativity. My food was excellent and the service was just as great. It was busy so I’m sure everyone working was busting their behinds to make everyone happy. Even though I was rude, the young lady wasn’t rude one time and I know that takes a lot. I’m a true believer in karma and that young lady has some good karma coming her way. Keep being just as kind, don’t let people get to you, thank you and your kindness will go a long way. The world needs more kind people.

It’s 24 hours!!! You know it’s McDonalds… So you know what you’re getting. And the drive thru guy called me sweetheart!

Out and about early and my troops got hungry. We stopped here for a quick bite. It’s nice and clean and quiet.
My little troops got their hotcakes and they were right. Steaming hot and ready to eat.

Just… no. I know it’s a McDonald’s but come on now, try a little harder. Not everyone is a rocket scientist, I get it! But you don’t have to be an idiot. Avoid this McDonald’s at all costs.

I would never Unilocal a fast food place like McDonald’s but I just had the worst experience at this location. This would be the 2^nd time this month they served me my order wrong. I got a 10 piece chicken nugget instead of the 20 I ordered, when I went in to the lobby to tell a manager he didn’t even apologize even after I told him this was the 2^nd time all he said was «well I wasn’t here the other time». Horrible restaurant horrible management might explain why they have a new manager every month.

Eh. Ordered a Burger at around 7pm. The bread was a bit stale and the fries were cold. The lady at the counter was nice, but dazed out and mumbled so I couldn’t hear her. The place has an over all greasy film to it and the bathrooms are… Well McDonalds bathrooms. Over all, grimy, but its food if you’re hungry enough.

At 2 am this place is off-​the-​ball, nowhere-​near-​a-​ball. I ordered a number four with a Dr. Pepper. At the window I was given four Dr. Peppers. I was fine when they handed me the second one, thinking SCORE! Then the third one appeared and I knew something was wrong. I pointed out the error. The window guy told me I would have to go back around through the line. I told him to cancel my order, in so many words. There’s another Micky D’s right down the road. I go there now. This location has been awful for years. It’s only still open because of the location. The one at Park Lane has better service and is also open late, truly on-​the-​ball. Just go there.

I’m wondering why I’m reviewing for such a corporate, common business such as McDonalds. Maybe because it’s walking distance from my pad, or because it’s so affordable? Hm, it’s either/​or.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t go here ALL THE TIME. Eating on a fast food budget can come with a risk far more than keeping your wallet heavy — it’s literally making YOU (and me), the consumer, heavy… but that all depends on what you order, of course.
I take advantage of the dollar menu. Their salad is not too bad. I mean, it’s actually fresh, surprisingly. Seriously, $ 1.08 for a side salad? Come on, now. Who can beat that? And it’s a great dealing considering they keep it loaded. I like their new menu outlook. It actually shows the calorie amount next to eat food item. Yaay! Now I know what not to order. All I’m left with is a salad, which only has 20 calories, not counting the dressing, but I only eat ¹⁄₃ of it, so I can’t be too worried.
Well, I give this place kudos for fresh, cheap salad. That is all.

No indoor playplace for my kids. =(But the place is clean and the service is friendly! We go here all the time, I’ve got the bucket of Happy Meal toys to prove it.

It’s oatmeal people – not rocket science!!! And, what happened to the listing for this place. Unilocal ate it? Under a different name? Who knows…
So, I get to play Grand PooBah and decide the star rating until someone else decides to hate on them.
Fast food places along this leg of Greenville Avenue traditionally suck it up. They are often 24 hours and that attracts workers who do not mind dealing with drunk frat boys at 3 a.m. when the bars close. I’ve gone through this particular drive-​thru in a cab on more than one occassion.
But last night it was about 8 p.m. and there wasn’t even a line. I placed my order – note they were out of frozen lemonade until Monday. I pulled around to pay, then up to the window to pick up my order. It was not a difficult order, but I did get an oatmeal.
The lady at the pick-​up window was visiting with someone getting off work. When she was done she called out all the items she needed to complete my order. It was the whole order. They had not even thought about the oatmeal. So, they were just starting that. And then the manager came up and told them they weren’t doing it right and they started over. It was about to storm. It’s starting to rain and lightning. I’m all «can we hurry please, I’d like to NOT get caught out in this.» Then they are out of apples for the oatmeal and they had to go to the back and get them. I spent close to 20 MINUTES at this McDonald’s drive thru. Pick-​up lady apologized a few times, but still.
ARGH! It will be awhile before I go here again.
