Domino’s Pizza

My kitchen was a wreck from yesterday’s dinner. After a long day out running errands; I wasn’t in the mood to clean AND cook.
Domino’s saved the day. Ordered using an online coupon for one hand tossed pan pizza (medium). I’m a simple pizza guy, mushrooms & sausage.
Ten years ago, Domino’s would have been my last choice. Today, I thought I’d give them a shot. Glad I did!
Pizza was delivered hot, correct, and the crust was epic. Mushrooms were large and fresh. Sausage was actually flavored pretty good. The crust had a garlic and buttery flavor that just melted in my mouth. Crunchy, no doubt. But just had a great taste.

When you place an order for pick up, you expect to go in the place, pay for it, and leave. Not so in this case.
My friend and I placed an order for pick up. She says it’ll be ready in 15 min. I waited ten then headed down there to pay and pick the food up. I get there and they can’t even find my order. Even though the lady that I spoke to remember the order and talking to my friend, She was unapologetic about the mishap at all and was even stand offish about the whole thing. I ordered a lot of times there before but this one experience was enough to make me decide to never order from any dominos again. The way they handled it wasn’t nice in the slightest. From what I understand from other people that have ordered there, I’m not the only one whose got attitude from her.
When I handed her my credit card to pay for the pizzas, She gave me the credit slip along with a pencil. I chose not to tip in this situation. (Normally I tip a dollar or two even though I pick the order up.)
I asked for a pen politely. She says «Oh a pencil is fine.) Not sure how I feel about letting a person who was rude to me in the first place who I didn’t leave a tip due to the rudeness.
Later that night, I contact the manager to express my concerns about the mishap.
Luis listened to what I have to say about the situation. He appreciated the fact I didn’t scream or yell. (Which isn’t my style anyway.) Offered me two free pizzas as a good gesture However, I refused and told him I appreciate it but I don’t really need anything free. I’m just here to let you know what all happened and tell you my concerns about the credit slip. He said he’d get right on it and speak with his supervisor about her.
Honestly, I originally had given this business only one star. But after talking with Luis, I decided to go up a star.

It’s a chain but I really like their thin crust. The M-​W carryout special, 3 toppings, $ 7.99 is a real deal and when I feel like treating myself I order from this store.
