I had a really unpleasant customer service experience with First Call Electrical. I wanted to upgrade some features in my home(not repair). The woman on the phone said that a tech would need to come out to inspect the home to provide an accurate quote, but they would charge me $ 69 for this. When I mentioned that this was not a repair and other companies were providing me basic quotes, she rudely told me to go hire them instead. Guess what… I will! I had used First Call for repairs in the past, and I have a lot of work coming up with AC/Heating overhauls, water heater replacements, etc., but if this is how they treat customers, then I consider it a red flag. Obviously, they don’t seem to care about retaining current customers or future business.
