I am so glad I found Emily! I have my hair done pretty much at every top notch hair salons in the country because I’m obsessed with my hair. My family are moving a lot and wherever I go I have to make sure there’s someone I can trust with my hair. Dallas is not only our next stop but it’s where my wedding takes place, and needless to say, finding a good hairdresser is super important!!!
I had done my research weeks before deciding to come see Emily. She’s so talented and makes you feel comfortable, not only because she’s going to make your hair look fabulous when you leave but she knows what’s best for you! Emily is a pretty straightforward person and I love that from her because I want to know what would work for my type of hair/​cut/​texture, and not just following the trend. I came in with the idea of going back to being brunette to stay natural for the wedding (my hair was platinum blonde and of course I processed it like a million times!). Emily asked me many questions, more of which were about myself, not just about hair (strange!!!). I thought she was just trying to connect with her client but nope! She wanted to know me and what I really wanted to achieve for my hair. I love it when my hairstylist really listens to me, and hears what I want. But I also love it when she will be completely honest and tell me when she thinks what I want won’t work for my hair type or face shape. Apparently Emily could read between the lines and yes I did not want to be a brunette! I love being blond…
My hair turned out to exceed expectations, and I love everything about it! We decided to keep my hair blond, but make it more natural and not too contrasting. Not only are Emily’s balayage techniques wonderful, but she’s also aware of different trends in the industry and not stuck in a box BUT will talk you through your hair color choice and each step in the process to achieve that. I am not confident to say that I have found my hairstylist!

I LOVE this place! Charleigh colored my virgin hair and I’m hooked! She listened to what I wanted and was so sweet. Definitely worth the money!

She softened my color, painted the perfect highlights and showed me how to style some beachy waves. Definitely going back to see Emily again! The whole team at Form were very friendly and professional.

Emily has been doing my hair for 2 ½ years now in Newport Beach, but sadly she moved to Dallas! My parents live there so I’ll be following her! She specializes in a technique called «balayage» where she paints on the highlights! Always over delivering, she makes me comfortable with what she is doing. I am going to be a lifetime client of hers!

Im the type of person who is ultra picky when it comes to my hair. I am also very indecisive when it comes to coloring it, but as long as Emily Naaman is doing it i know it will look amazing! Since going to her I always take her recommendation because she always keeps in mind that fact that I want to keep my hair healthy. She has taken me from dark to light to dark again and my hair is still silky smooth. Will never go to anyone else! She is my hair goddess.

I have been going to Whitney since she was at Osgood O’Neil years ago and moved on to build out a hair styling education program and salon. Best value around coming to Form now — great haircut consistently. Team there are all professionals and have used several other folks there to get my haircut when Whitney has been busy and I asked for appt with short notice. Still great haircut! Cool and warm atmosphere to chill out while get my haircut. product selection has been great as well and people do a great job of understanding what you need and showing different products and price points to meet your needs. I will keep coming back for years to come.

Leighanne is the BEST! I’ve never had a better colorist. She reproduced a picture I showed her exactly. I’m so happy with my new ombré look!

I am a picky client. I’ll just come right out and say it. But I was in desperate need of some highlights after letting a bad dye job fade. I randomly selected FORM salon because it was close to my apartment, and I am so glad I did. I received the best haircolor I’ve ever received! I made an appointment with Ashlee Rose, who gave me the most natural and beautiful balayage highlights. Then Kristen perfectly trimmed my hair, put in some chic layers, and really framed my face! Overall, I am 100% pleased and would recommend this salon and Ashlee Rose to anyone.

I’ve been seeing Leighanne for FOR-​EV-​ERRR for my color and I would never go elsewhere. I mean. I drive from Celina to go here, that is SERIOUS dedication! Leighanne is the balayage expert. I’ve literally never left her chair unhappy. In fact, when I leave there I feel like I belong in a hair commercial, and I am realllllly picky! I follow Form on Instagram, and it looks like they’ve got a lot of talented staff there. One of my favorite things about seeing Leighanne is that my color grows out so flawlessly. Though CERTAINLY not ideal, I’ve gone SIX months since my last color and I still get compliments! So yes, it could seem semi-​expensive, but it lasts! And if there’s one thing I’ve learned about getting my hair done in Dallas, you get what you pay for! I haven’t been to the salon since December (going tomorrow and getting back on track, whooo!) but I loved the interior on my last visit! So modern and beautiful! If you’re looking for people that specialize in their craft, this is the place for you!

The stylists and colorists at Form are very professional and friendly. They make sure to do a thorough consultation and take their time to ensure great hair. The front desk staff was super polite and I was greeted and asked if I wanted a beverage. I would definitely recommend FORM Salon to friends and family. Great vibe & exceptional color and cuts.

The cost of my partial doubled when I added a glaze. My hair has grown on me since I got it colored, and although Charleigh was super nice, I’m not 100% sold on Form just yet. This color looks fabulous, but my appointment was definitely double booked (which drives me CRAZY). My hair processes quickly and I’ve had some bad experiences, so I like my colorist to be able to check on my highlights as they go, which she wasn’t able to do because she was so busy. I also had her assistant do the glaze, which was a little undesirable since she didn’t seem to have a good grasp on it. The blow dry bar where you’re able to dry your own hair is nice, but I hate that you walk out of a salon after paying $ 140 and look like a wet dog unless you dry your own hair…
So back and forth on this. May be back, may not.
In Charleigh’s defense her first client was really late, so her schedule was pretty crammed because of that.

This is the coolest salon I’ve been to. The owners are super chill, Leighanne does my color and Whitney does my cuts and I get so many compliments. It’s high end but feels laid back, which matters to me because I’m a high maintenance customer but don’t want to go somewhere stuffy and judgy. It’s super clean with awesome lighting so you know your color is going to be perfect. I come once a month and actually really look forward to my appointments. Promise me you’ll never ever close, Form!

Ok this is a little long so I apologize for that.
When I called to make an appointment the receptionist seemed friendly but I felt I was being rushed off the phone. 1 hour before my appointment I was called to inform me the stylist was sick and I would have to reschedule. I understand these things happened but I explained I only had one day to do this and could they please try and fit me in (I explained it was for highlighting and cut). She said I could come later that day no problem. The issue was the person who booked the initial appointment didn’t really listen to me and what I needed to have done, hence rushing me off the phone.
I got there on time (actually 5mins early) was greeted with friendly people. I waited 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time before the colorist was able to start.
She was very nice and polite. The work she did was really good but not really like the picture I brought in. I’m a lot more blonde than I wanted. I just wanted highlights at the roots near the front bangs part of my hair and the rest of the balayage in a sort of ombré look. Instead it just looks like regular highlights. I feel I look sort of washed out, like it’s too light for my complexion.
Also before she started the color there was another lack of communication about me getting a haircut. Yes I had said initially I needed one as well but she had to move some things around. Anyway she made it work.
The person who trimmed and styled my hair did a wonderful job.
I didn’t make a complaint about the color at that time because it was only until I got home, looked in the mirror and said «whoa».
In conclusion for the $ 190 I spent, the lack of communication (fault of receptionist) I won’t be returning. Which is sad because I was really hoping to finally find a place that will be able to give me what I want.
For that amount of money I would have expected better.
