Came here for lunch and she was out of the posted sides. She was not even willing to give a substitution for the sides which I didn’t understand. This is the last time I come to this restaurant.

I attended a conference in the Dallas convention center and visited this place for lunch. It has the best combination of quality and price in the area. In addition to the awesome food, service is very good and Nasreen is always friendly and polite

Awesome owner. It’s like going to your mom’s place. Cheap, quick, good eats. What more can you ask for from a deli. :)

Must go place if you are in Dallas Downtown area or the convention center. It is tucked in a big office building, so I will call it a hidden treasure. It is a mom and pop kinda business and I think they were very sweet people, and they make everything as fresh as it could be. Always go for the special item for the day, and me and my friends ended up going 3 days in a row.

The Chicken Tikka Masala on Mondays is legit! They also cater the Indian and Halal food.

I’ve eaten here 2 days in a row yesterday was my first and I think I have literally found the best eatery for lunch and it’s next to my office! Nasreen and her husband own this cute little deli and it’s clean inside. The food is made directly in front of you. The second you step into the building you can smell it. I recommend the tikka marsala, she makes it spicy and full of love. Nasreen’s personality in herself and her food keep me coming back.

Great hidden restaurant if you are at the Dallas convention center and want to get away from the food served there. Excellent fresh made sandwiches!

This place is tucked away in an office building. Going in, it looks like an airport cafeteria. It’s definitely a mom and pop business, and they are the sweetest. They make you feel right at home with their warm greetings and conversations. They take pride in what they make, and I can tell by how it takes. Don’t get me wrong and think this is fancy gourmet stuff. If anything, the meal I ordered felt like homemade, like I packed it myself. I ordered the Nasreen’s Special, which included Tandoori Chicken, chickpea and spinach steamed, and spicy potatoes. I also added on an egg roll and croissant, since they looked so good. The potatoes were great, but closer to the end, I felt most of the kick which got me a little sweaty. The steamed chickpea spinach combo had a lot of flavor and a great broth. The tandoori chicken was soft and moist, with a sauce that packed a punch of flavor. The croissant was made in house, and it was flakey and fluffy. I’m not sure how their burgers and sandwiches taste, but if they are anything like their Nasreen Special, then it will sure be a winner.

Delicious sandwiches! Very friendly and helpful staff. A little tough to find(located on the bottom floor of the Founder’s Building) but well worth the effort! I tried the tuna salad on wheat toast and it was delicious and clearly made with care. If you want a great quick lunch option, this is it. Also, their prices are ridiculously low — seriously, raise your prices 15%, no one will even notice :-)

Awesome. Just a great little hidden lunch counter… Mondays are for Indian Curry. Generally a meat and vegetarian option. Or go with a combo. Very reasonable prices and fantastic service.

Some of the most delicious food at rock bottom prices. The puff pastry was only $ 2 and enough for lunch. Add a snapple for only 99 cents. Are you serious? Excellent food that is cheaper than mcdonalds across the street? And homemade by the owner who is a very sweet southeast Asian woman. Will be back!

This is a great place for breakfast and lunch. All of the food is good, but I especially like Nasreen’s homemade selections on Mondays and the fish on Tuesdays. If «Nasreen’s Special» is offered on the menu on a particular day, the dish changes, but will always be the best choice. She is also very accommodating and will alter certain dishes for people that prefer less carbs, vegetarian entrees, etc.

I work next door to this place. A couple of coworkers and myself found it randomly while searching for something different after moving to this building. Staff is friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful if you need help with the menu. The menu is pretty basic, but tasty. Mondays are a real treat, with 2 Indian cuisine options as their specials! Highly recommended! YUM!

I love the grilled chicken salad! Grilled vegetables, chicken, and cheese served on a bed of artesian lettuce… I like it with jalapeños added. Generous portions! Great if you are on a diet!!!

Couldn’t even remember the name of the place b/c me and my friends call it the curry place. My manager is vegetarian and have found this one of the few places where he can get a vegetarian meal that isn’t an afterthought. For around 7.50 you can buy a curry with samosa and drink. The foyer area just outside is nice and quiet my coworkers say its zen. Its definitely my Monday ritual.(curry is only served on monday)

A co-worker brought me across the street from the federal building a week or two ago and I have already been back a few times. So good to know that we have an affordable, healthy and tasty option like this that is so close. Nazreen is a nice lady and accomodating. Had their Indian dish for Monday yesterday which was as good as everything else, but they were running out very early, by noon.

Am in DFW for business at Omni Hotel. Discovered Founder’s Deli via Unilocal.Disappointed that indian food was not every day… only Mondays! Kabobs(chicken and beef) are awesome. Manchurian special was good with curry flavor. Nice option. Although a word to those short of time… call in your kabob order. it takes a while. Back in June and July. I will definitely eat here again.

I also happen to work in the Founders Square building, and am INCREDIBLY lucky to have this as a lunch option. Monday is a traditional Indian/Pakistan dish… a veggie and a meat… always handmade, always fresh and always amazing. Thursday is ‘Nasreen’s Special’ day(the Tandoori Chicken quesadillas are a Nasreen’s Special example). Nasreen can make you any of the typical deli fare, but Mondays and Thursdays are the truly special days. Her and her husband are also two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Don’t miss it if you are in the area for lunch.

I have to agree with Sameer, Founders Square deli is awesome! Of course I am a little biased as I work in the building. Not only is the Indian food great each day but the burgers and sanwhiches and other daily specials area great too! These folks do it all, and do everything good. Many people from the neighboring buildings in the area have found this little jewel and more should. The building has a wonderful atrium to eat in too.

I had a week that required me to be in downtown Dallas more than usual. We had a limited time for lunch so we had to eat close and it had to be fast. I abhor Subway; my friend used to office in this building and he suggested we would like the food. He was wrong, we didn’t just like it, we loved it. It’s run by a husband and wife team. Nasreen make the standard office deli fare, but also supplements it with home made dishes that were awesome. Last week we had tandoori chicken quesadillas and Indian spicy burgers. Both were fantastic. I’m glad that I don’t have to be in downtown D, I can’t stand tall buildings, but I am sad that I missed her butter chicken curry today. Check it out, it’s cheap and well worth your time. Her Indian food was way better than the ridiculously price India West. IW should be ashamed.
