It was my first time here. Jennifer are waitress was amazing! Great service and and we never felt rushed! Thank you so much for letting us have the pigs there and my sweet little Minnie. Can’t wait to go back!

First time visit based on a casual suggestion from a local. We each had 4 different sandwiches and they got 8 thumbs up! Innovative menu and friendly service. Poutine in Texas… What a treat!

We stayed at the Nylo Southside hotel for four nights so we enjoyed this place many times. We assumed that since it wasn’t busy when we where first went in and that it was close to a hotel that the food would be sub par but we were wrong! Great happy hour, staff, and everything we tried was awesome. Give this place a shot!

I love Full Circle Tavern. I’m telling you the best thing on the menu is the cheese curds. It’s hard to stop eating them. I also LOVE the meatball sandwich. The service is always good and sometimes it takes a little while on the food, but it’s worth it. I’ve never seen the staff in a bad mood. The only thing I don’t like is that they are closed on Mondays. Great place to eat and have a few drinks after work.

So I’ve been here at least a half of a dozen times and this place never fails to disappoint. Their menu is unique and their food is delicious. The poutine is amazing. And the nachos are made just the way they should be, layers of cheese then chips, then more cheese. They definitely don’t short change you. And did I mention the staff? They remember you and are always helpful with making a decision of what to eat or try. Excellent place to be.

We really liked this bar a lot. It has a great vibe and is very comfortable. It has an upscale feel without being pretentious. They played music that was appropriate for my demographic(ha ha), classic rock but at a volume that allowed conversation. Not a huge selection of beers on tap but the quality is high, and I found Lakewood Temptress which is absolutely excellent, smoky and smooth($ 7.50). The wife got the Ruta 22 Malbec and said it was one of the best wines she tasted. We also munched on the Tavern Fries($ 7.95) and although I try to avoid that type of food as much as possible, I must say that they were the best I ever had. The flavors come together wonderfully. Our server Emily was super friendly and attentive, really great service. There is parking in the back so that makes it easy. Overall, this was a great experience and I would return for sure.

My first time was here, and I enjoyed the food and the appearance of the retaurant more than anything. Our waitress had us wait 10 minutes to order and there weren’t that many people there for that to happen. I ordered the Grilled Chicken(without cream cheese spread) and it was fascinating! I shall definetly be coming back here again as it is conveniently next to Bill’s Record Shop

We came here before a concert next door at the South Side Ballroom — I’d be curious to know what the normal crowds are like. Never the less, the hostess/server was attentive and was mostly right-on when she quoted a 15 – 20 minute for a table for 2 at 7pm(the show started at 8:30pm). The menu is pretty simple — lots of typical bar food: fried pickles, cheese curds, and french fries served in different ways. They serve Poutine, which are french fries with cheese and gravy on them(perfect for a cold night. We elected for the fries with melted cheese, bacon, jalapeños and a side of ranch to start. I partially picked this restaurant because I wanted to try their beer cheese soup. It was ok — the best part was the buttered toast sticks served along side for dipping into the soup; the soup itself was a bit light and small. My wife had the FCT salad — which was fresh and a good combination of lettuce, avocado, chicken and we added blue cheese. The best part of the experience were the drinks. They served us mixed drinks(Ruby Red and Honkey Monkey) in copper cups like they serve Moscow Mules in elsewhere. The busboy asked us if we were going to keep the mugs — he said we could?!? — but since we were headed to a concert, we didn’t want to lug them around with us. They also serve their canned beer with coozies, which you can also keep. The drink prices are not bad either!

Their crab cakes are to die for. Seafood in Texas isn’t the best but the chef here has got it down!

I had overnight layover in Dallas after Vegas. Stayed at an amazing loft which I found on Airbnb(pm me if you want more details). It was also about a block from this highly rated restaurant. So glad that I got to eat here. From the minute I walked in, the host greeted with a smile and my server immediately brought menus, explained the selections and her recommendations. She also mentioned a brief history of chef /owners(Jennifer and Laura) about their committed passion for fresh ingredients. I think this place was also featured on the Food Network. Ordered the Italian Stallion. Slow roasted Italian beef w/provolone, pepperoncinis on garlic roll & a side of au jus for dipping. Also came w/sweet potato fries. Sandwich had generous portion of tender roast beef. Nicely marinated and au jus was just perfect. Not salty, not oily but very flavorful! Fries had the right crisp, not limpy nor soggy. For drinks, I had a couple of Texas Tea, basically a better of version of Long Island ice tea. This cocktail was well crafted and potent. It was truly a good experience. Food and service are top notch at this neighborhood casual joint and the prices are wallet friendly too.

I’ve been here at least 4 times and have always enjoyed their sandwiches and chips. Just about everything on their menu is homemade. Their bread is always fresh and comes from a local bakery. I’ve had their Gobble Gobble and Pulled Pork sandwiches. I love their homemade chips. They offer a different flavor everyday. My favorite is the ranch. Service is okay. The last one we had was pleasant enough did not say much. She didn’t event thank us when she gave us our check. No, the restaurant was not busy at all. They had about 4 tables, including us. I strongly believe if you choose to be in the service industry, you should at least appear as though you enjoy your job. I give this place four stars for food and quality. Service 2 stars.

Started out with the fried pickles… amazeballs! Then went on to cheese curds… omg omg omg! Most fantastic little ball of fried cheese ever! Last the gobble gobble… it’s like thanksgiving just threw a party in your mouth and you want to it to have a party there every day! The most amazing sandwich ever! The service and atmosphere were great but we will return for the amazing food. If I lived close enough I would eat there no less than twice daily! This place does food right!!!

Great food and great service. The place is casual and a good place for gatherings or business get together. Probably one of the best burgers in town.

We stopped in here before a concert recently! if you’ve never been here before, GO! GONOW!!! I like everything about Full Circle. It’s actually kind of small inside. They have a pretty nice patio, but it was way too hot to sit out there when we went. They’ve got a few TVs so you can catch the game. The service was outstanding. The hostess gave us the low down when she seated us and our waitress was on top of her game the entire time we were there. One of the owners brought us our food and talked to us for a couple of minutes. Nice touch. The food stole the show. We were starving when we came here. We tried the chips and queso, fried pickles and crab cakes. Sounds like a lot of food but the portions were just right. The hostess said the queso was good enough to drink and she was right. The pickles were really good too. I didn’t care for the chipotle ranch but my wife liked it. The crab cakes are small but they’re full of crab meat with very little filler. We split the Italian Stallion. That was the best roast beef sandwich I’ve had in a long time. In fact, I’m craving it as I’m writing this review. They brought a sample of the chips they make and they were good as well. I can’t think of one thing we didn’t like about Full Circle. We’ve got a new favorite and can’t wait to come back again.

Loved this place. Went in last night. Our waitress Jennifer was super nice. I got a grapefruit mule. Very delicious. She brought out some chips that they are famous for from food network. Amazing!!! We ordered the poutine for an app. It was pretty good. I got the gobble gobble. Wow!!! The sandwich was so amazing. It’s really big. Could barely eat all of it but I sure did! Could have used a bit more cranberries and gravy but still it was so good! I will definitely be back!!!

My review on this nice pub like restaurant is over due. Tried this place after work one Friday evening. The patio is big and a great people watching location for drinks and a bite to eat. It’s right off of Lamar and next door to Nylo Hotel, so the comings and goings are great! The food is great… I tried the fried pickles and chicken sandwich and both were excellent. The menu has a nice selection of items, some original and some spins on classic pub style foods. They have great happy hour specials and a fair selections of beer, including a couple local varieties. Service is fair, but got a bit sporadic as it got busier. The crowd is pretty varied, nice and no problems while I was there. It’s also a great location to grab a bit to eat and a few drinks, then round out the night with a drink at the Nylo. I’ll definitely try this place again.

Such a fun place to brunch. The staff was super friendly, atmosphere was inviting and the music was totally rocking! I had the crab cakes eggs benedict. Although the crab cakes were small they were 95% crab meat and 5% filler. Very hardy. The side potatoes were great too(note that I put ketchup on them before I realized how great they were as is). They were perfectly seasoned with rosemary. The mimosas were also delish. It was the perfect amount of champagne to OJ unlike some places were you are left questioning were the kick is. I’ll definitely return when I’m back in the area.

Stopped by for HH on a Friday afternoon with a friend to grab drinks and some lite bites. Full Circle Tavern has specials almost every day for HH($ 2Tuesdays, Winedown Wednesdays, $ 3.60degree Thursdays, $ 4 alarm Fridays and Texas Beer Saturdays). They also offer $ 3 fireball everyday. What’s not to love? Anyways, we ordered the fried jalapeños and the crab cakes to share and some drinks. The jalapenos were super yummy, not too spicy and not overly fried. The crab cakes were pretty tasty as well, didn’t fall apart and the meat wasn’t too stiff. Sat outside by the patio and the weather was perfect. I like how they feature a variety of locally brewed beer as well as an abundance of other brews. Close to the DART and there seemed to be plenty of parking around. Looking forward to returning soon!

They serve you sandwiches and beer. The one that is touted as favorite is «The Italian Stallion». I do not know why it is called that. I would call it «shredded meat on a roll with a few pepper slices». It was okay — but nothing to get excited about. It’s probably the profit king at the restaurant because it’s simple to fix are tasty. Looked like it took all of 45 seconds to make once they found a roll to put it on. The best part of that sandwich was when the girl who brought it to me. She said slowly and suggestively with a mischievous smile, «…and for you sir, the Italian Stallion!». The use of the word«the» thus creating the double entendre suggesting she may have been referring to the sandwich or, wink-wink, me. Sofie ate the Gobble Gobble, but the girl did not mock her when she served the sandwich. Sofie’s sandwich was amazingly good! The turkey was fresh and tasty and her sweet potato fries were the best I ever ate!(Well, I didn’t eat all of her fries, but my professional side had to enjoy some so I could properly document the quality! I could not totally rely on Sofie’s opinion — sometimes she claims things to be delicious which are clearly not — boiled carrots — for example.) The cooks sprinkled sugar on the sweet potatoes. I was fooled into thinking it was salt and thought, «Wow! These are sure sweet fried sweet potatoes!» The beer was good! They had a bunch on tap — I had a wheat beer and some sort of dark ale. They both had punch, so I was happy. They also had a long list of «Canned Beer». I think canned beer is a Texas thing. I do not know the equivalent quirky California thing… maybe washing our garbage(which I do not do — but know someone who does!) before we toss it into the bin. The service was very good! Wesley served us our drinks and the tattooed vixen served us our food. You can sit inside or out. We sat outside, but the gale force wind drove us inside. There were several TVs. One had a basketball game, one a baseball game and the other had a cooking show. You can’t hear anything because the music is a loud and the acoustics were engineered to mimic a warehouse. Someone outside had a little dog that had a perpetual barking fit which made me wonder: «What is more annoying, a crying baby or a barking dog?» I think a crying baby, so I enjoyed the barking dog. Full Circle Tavern deserves your business if you are hungry and like turkey dinners served on a bun. It has a friendly atmosphere with people enjoying their food outside. Avoid the Italian Satllion.
