My husband and I frequent Bobs a lot but they weren’t open yet so we thought we would grab a quick bite at this place. We sat down and after about 10 minutes the bartender James finally acknowledged our existence. We both ordered a cocktail, chili and loaded Tx fries to split. After about 15 minutes yay food! Drinks gone but we had food! The food was very filling and tasty. James came back after about 20 minutes after we repeatedly tried to get his attention and brought another drink. We finally gave up and asked a random guy for our tab and paid immediately. I was very disappointed in the quality of service from such a fine hotel. Maybe next time will be better

This was definitely a treat, we had the Red Neck burger which is a double cheese burger with bacon, fried onion strings, bbq sauce, and PULLEDPORK. This burger was GOOOOOD it’s no longer a menu item but they will still make you one.

This beautiful sports bar and grill located in the Omni hotel is quite an experience. Anywhere that has a large screen broadcasting a good football game, with dozens of other TV’s around showing other games, in a clean, upscale environment, is a good thing to me. Even the bathrooms have TVs. I mean, come on, that’s just cool. Our server, Haley, was incredibly nice, attentive, and never let our drinks get empty. The food was very, very good. I enjoyed the buffalo chicken flatbread pizza. The nachos were great, too. The only reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars is because we had to pay for parking(yeah, I know to expect this in most big cities, but it still irks me) and the menu/drink prices are a little higher than I’d like. For three of us to have lunch food and some drinks came to around $ 120. But hey, if you’re staying at the Omni, you can probably afford that.

I have a love hate relationship with The Owners Box. Although I love the Omni Hotel… the Owners’ Box for me is a disappointment in food quality and service. I have been here on many occasion(more than 6 times in the past 6 months) and every time it seems very difficult to get server attention. The food is average at best — standard bar food with basic flavors. I would love to see their menu«spiced up» a bit by the chef’s in Texas Spice — no pun intended. If you just want to watch the game and hang out with friends over an average alcoholic beverage then yes, I would recommend The Owners Box. In my past experience they are not prepared or educated on specialty drinks like a Mojito so I would stick to standard drinks like a Vodka/Cranberry. They do have a great patio space with corn hole and a nice view of the skyline at night.

We did take out because it was so loud and crowded(as it should be on a Saturday night). The burger was fantastic! My daughter had the flatbread and it was delicious. We were in town for a convention at the Hyatt and am so glad we stayed at the Omni. Great food choices and great service at a reasonable price.

This was a nice spot to watch the LSU game yesterday. Many TV’s to watch. I sat at the bar for the first half of the game and was served by Oscar. He was a great server and very friendly. Drinks were nicely mixed. I will come here more often to watch my games.

I tried eating here while at the CEDIA expo. We ordered the potato skin and it literally came out with the center close to frozen. Between fridge temp and frozen… unbelievable. I would have to assume that they microwave those when ordered if it was frozen. The service was horrible too. I highly recommend the Texas Spice restaurant at the other end of the hotel lobby.

Staying as a guest upstairs. Went for late dinner takeout at 1030 pm on a Friday. Place was packed full of drinkers. Ordered at the bar, barkeep was quick. Everything was packaged up well & included everything I needed to eat in my room without having to ask for it. Sweet & spicy wings were the bomb! I want more! The ½ lb burger w/bacon was good too. Nothing spectacular but good and big! I’d definitely visit again for the wings and to try something new. Probably earlier in the day/evening before it turns into a happening drinking spot

Like a hotel sports bar on steroids! Pretty decent option for lunch while attending a trade show at the convention center recently. Limited menu but enough to choose from. If looking to go healthy they offer a tasty turkey burger and you can opt for a good sized side salad in place of fries. Amazing amount of flat screens of all sizes located all around the bar and seating area with a great sound system. The days I was there the baseball playoffs were on along with college football. Really nice bartenders that take care of the guests sitting at the bar. If there for an event as I was I suggest grabbing a seat there. They have a funky seating policy for tables and will make you wait for 30 minutes or more even though there are plenty of empty spots. They claim they need them for groups of two or more and won’t seat singles right away. Guess it’s because a convention was in town and it was very busy during lunch hours. They have an outside patio seating area but it’s not an option when the sun is blazing and it’s 90 out. Hover around the bar and wait fo someone to leave as it was quicker that way. Easy to get to from the convention center as it’s connected through a walkway area to the Omni Hotel where it’s located.

I have never been so infuriated in my life. I travel here to the Omni for at lease 1 – 3 weeks a month and I frequent this sports bar often. Today, I came in on a Saturday(which I never do) and I called ahead before my flight this am to make sure this bar has the PAC12 network. The Cal v. Washington game was on and I wanted to watch. They told me on the phone that they, in fact, DO carry the PAC12 network. So, I get off my plane and arrive at the hotel by half time. I check in and CAN’T WAIT to watch the game. I head to the bar and double check with the hostess: «you carry the PAC12 network right?» The hostess responded like a smart ass saying«of course we do, we have 73 different TV screens.» So, long story short, I sat at the bar and asked them to please play the game. They told me they would put it on as soon as some other«more important» games were over. Seriously? 73 screens and you can’t put ONE on the game I want? After a phone call and the hostess stand told me it would be on? 20 mins later(while watching the game on my phone) the manager comes up and says, I am so sorry but we do not carry that network. Information that would have been useful to me YESTERDAY. All in all, it’s a decent sports bar but don’t count on seeing anything or any game you want when you want it. There are 73TV screens there, all of which must be dedicated to crappy Texas football teams. #yawn

Great sports bar in the Omni Hotel! We had just arrived in Dallas and our stomachs were grumbling. Luckily they had a huge casual sports bar with a good variety on the menu. We were greeted and seated immediately. They gave us a comfy lounge seating area to enjoy some football and be comfortable at the same time. There are gigantic screens all throughout the restaurant which makes it nice for game day. It is very clean with a nice open feel. Our service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Drinks were always filled. I was surprised at how quickly our food was delivered seeing as how busy it was. We split the chicken nachos and some buffalo wings. The nachos were brilliantly done with a mound of toppings such as cheese, chili line sour cream, black beans and guacamole. These are definitely easily shared with several people. The wings were just a bit too spicy and salty for me. I think those could be improved. All in all it is a fun atmosphere with a good service!

It was a nice surprise to see a sports bar in such a fancy hotel(Omni). The workers here were all friendly and the place was jammed packed with flat screen TVs so no matter where you went you didn’t miss a second of whatever game you were watching. They even have about 5 – 6 flat screens out on the deck for those who want to sit outside in the sun to watch a game. The food was pretty tasty and definitely recommend getting the nachos, cheeseburger. The bartender who made my gin and tonic gets two thumbs up because that drink was 80% gin and I appreciated that. The negative about this place was the brisket sandwich. It was straight up nasty(in my opinion) and that’s why I’m giving this place 3.5 stars.

This is one of better«hotel bars» I’ve experienced. It iiiis attached to the Omni, though, so who would expect less? Kind of on the swanky side for a «sports bar». I was in my friend’s wedding at the hotel, and we had just finished a dance practice and had time to kill before the rehearsal dinner when I get a text to meet everyone down at the bar. When I get there, we have a table outside during some pretty perfect weather. We ordered a few beers and some appetizers and really just enjoyed some relaxing and socializing. I would really recommend this place if you want somewhere a little(but not too) fancy to have a drink outside when the weather’s nice.

More of a tip rather than a review– Try the jalapeño cucumber margarita! 4 out 5 stars for the drink alone.

a whole bunch of food for very little price. This is a sports bar first and foremost. Shabby chic in décor and pretty much what you see is what you get. I got the monster burger with brisket and hamburger and onion ring and it was delicious. What better than bbq beef and a hamburger bun? Maybe sex? I dunno, it’s a close tie. I liked this place, the cell phone charging station was awesome. I would love one of those at my work place. Host are nice and energy is high, come and enjoy.

While staying at the Omni Hotel, we had the opportunity to try The Owner’s Box for lunch. The menu had plenty of options that sounded good, but we had the hardest time deciding. I think we were all over hungry and one thing sounded better than the next. After finally placing our order, the chef sent over some spicy glazed meatballs to try. Spicy — yes. Yummy — not so much. I was immediately concerned about the good we had just ordered. When the BBQ beef brisket potato skins hit the table, I was apprehensive. After one whiff, I knew we were in for a treat. We shared this appetizer and the three of us couldn’t have been more pleased with our selection. The chunks of beef were a very nice size and there was plenty of it. The jalapeño ranch dipping sauce was really just ranch with a piece of jalapeño on top, but it was still good. We tried the chili which was good. A shrimp flatbread with arugula was enjoyed by my coworker. She are every bite even though she was pretty full from those potato skins. And I tried a burger with their fries. The burger was good. It was a double patty on a nice bun. The fries were over seasoned and I only ate a couple before I have up on those. Overall, it was a good experience was fine service.
