It looks OK but it’s NOT. I was there for six months and then fled. The DART train goes by every few minutes from 4:30 in the morning until past midnight. The girl who showed me the apartment LIED when she said«the train goes past every 15 minutes». Yeah — the red train northbound does… and so does the red train southbound… and the orange train northbound… and the orange train southbound… so in reality there are trains going by your window every couple minutes all the *^&$# day. There’s no rest! The ceilings are low, the apartments are creaky, and you can hear every footstep people above you make. Of course, I got the luck of the draw and got a married couple who wore boots and high heels at all times, and made my life a living hell. The thermostat is right next to the air vent. You turn on the a/c and it blows for a couple minutes and then the thermostat gets cold and shuts off. Same with the heat. Two minutes after turning on the heat, the thermostat warms up and shuts off the heat. Meanwhile, the other 98% of the apartment hasn’t been affected one bit. The maintenance was shoddy and required multiple trips to get something right, the neighbors were ghetto, my trash can was *stolen* from outside my front door(who steals a trash can?) and my car was keyed. Management was inattentive at best and argumentative the rest of the time. If I had no job and no life, I’d picket the front gate with a sign saying«Don’t move here».

Place is horrible. Worst 2years of my life. The staff was rude. The maintenance is a nightmare and they treat you like a number with no rights. I have lived at other Camden communities and this is not the norm. this place is horrible.

I live here for a month. The apartment is sometimes under construction which may be noisy in the morning, but at least reflects it is in maintain status. It is quit new from interior and exterior. The walls are all newly printed. The repair is in time, often in one business day or two. Cons: The trash is not picked up everyday. The price is a little too high.

Alright after living here for almost 5 years I had to write my first review on Unilocal. When I first moved in the management was friendly, understanding, and helpful. If I had any maintenance problems I could fill out a form online and it was usually taken care of that day. The pools are a great place to hang out at on the weekends and I’ve made many friends there. However, by the time I moved out two years ago management was completely flushed out and replaced with lazy, spiteful, unprofessionals. First there was the matter of them raising my rent from 840 a month to 1400 a month! they almost doubled it! Alright so, whatever, there was new construction in the area being planned and I understand how real estate can go up, but there was no email or letter explaining to me if I resigned my lease I’d be paying a substantial amount more. So, not only do I get stuck for the next year(If I had signed a six month lease it would have been even more expensive), but they harassed me until I moved out. First there was the issue with the cops being«called» on me for VACUUMING too late in the evening! How does that happen? Then management, one guy in particular, had my car towed from MYSPOT. Thinking it was a misunderstanding I walked down to the office and explained that the tow service Camden has a contract with to keep unwanted cars from their community has accidentally taken the wrong car. This manager then tell me that’s too bad and there was nothing they could do about it now. If the car was taken it belongs to the tow yard now. I had to pay $ 400 to get my car out that day and after a lot of threats I was only able to get them to reduce my rent the next month $ 150. As far as the property is concerned it’s very nice for the price I was originally paying. All the appliances were brand new and units were completely remodeled when I moved in in ’09. By the time I moved out they upgraded the pools and added some new gym equipment which was nice. The walls are a bit thin though so the noise level will depend on your neighbors. Honestly you’re better off finding a place at the Village or a nice place in Uptown for what they are going to make you spend here. Not worth it
