I’ve never been dissatisfied here, the large hoagies are huge and loaded with meats, the barbque is good, wraps are good, burgers are excellent and to top it off they have a phenominal selection of beer!

I ordered take out from here today, which was ½ the buffalo wing sub with ranch dressing and a small order of plain fries. It was my first experience with J&Js, and probably will be my last. While I ordered half of the sub, it was huge! So that was a nice surprise. However, there wasn’t much meat in the actual sub. It was more bread and hot sauce than anything, which is a bummer. I actually had to stuff some of my fries into the sub to make it more full. And I wasn’t really a fan of the fries either. They weren’t anything to write home about. The staff was very nice and my meal was prepped quickly. I only had to wait like 3 minutes! Maybe I’ll try again in the future.

Been coming here for years. It was always the best place for a sandwich and lots of choices. It has, in the last 3 or 4 years, gone steadily downhill. The buns are always fresh, and they make some creative side dishes, but the sandwich quality is horrible. We have been trying different things on the menu, but it’s recently always disappointing. Instead of coming here once or twice a month, I think we are scratching this place off the list. I’m attaching a picture of tonight’s cheesesteak as it came out of the wrapper…

Great selection, always fresh, taste great, and all at a great price. Staff is extremely friendly and do an excellent job of remembering you. Call ahead for takeout and do yourself a favor, try one of their homemade salads or soup. We love their cole slaw! Oh and they have awesome pasties and nut rolls.

Good food, price is right. You can dine in or take out. Carry out beer by the bottle or six pack. Many varieties. Great place to eat lunch in and buy a six pack to go with it! Fairly broad menu, price is good. Food is excellent. Have grill items as well. Been there many times and will go many more!

J and J Deli has good subs at a reasonable price, and they are very big. The«half» sub is enough to keep me full for a day. The place is well run and very clean. The six pack selection looks very nice too, definitely an upscale collection for the area.

This, my friends, is the perfect deli. Nestled in the hills of Dallas, PA outside Hazleton, it has all you could ask for. Why is this the perfect deli? 1) Nice people. The owners seemed genuinely nice and there appeared to be a loyal customer base that knew them. 2) Clean. There was a decent seating area and clean bathrooms and it was the kind of place you would eat in, and not the usual 2 booths that have grime on them. 3) Buffalo Wing Sub. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Ordered it and then came back the next day and got it again. Rest assured these are buffalo tenders, and not actual wings, so you won’t choke. 4) Beer. This place sells beer. So I got a sixer of Naragansett to go, which made me happy because I enjoy celebrating Gansett time. Go here and go here often. The lines of pickup trucks and contractor vehicles here at lunch, should be as good an indication as this review of its quality.

I love J+J deli. I can really only speak to the sandwich part because we have never used them for catering. They have a really great menu of hot and cold subs. My favorite is the turkey and bacon. The thing you have to know about J+J is to order the large at your own risk — be prepared to not be hungry again for like 3 days. The subs area HUUUUGE. Great fresh bread, tasty ingredients, etc. Additionally, they have some really good side items — the beer battered onion rings are my go-to order when I am feeling like I need to clog some arteries. Finally, they have a really big case of beers that you can buy either individually or by the six pack that is often a perfect accompanyment to your sandwich. Way to go, J+J!
