Honestly, I always get SUCH great service at this location! The food is good — I’ve heard complaints about the price, but paying $ 35 or $ 40 for a steampot full of lobster, crab, sausage, corn, shrimp, and potatoes doesn’t seem a bad deal to me. The wait staff and hosts are super friendly and personable, and I’ve never had to wait for refills. Maybe I’ve just gotten lucky with great service, but this is probably one of my favorite places to get a nice meal.

Just left this interesting place… hostess looking like she hates her job and was very unfriendly! Place was less than full but I was told a 20 minute wait… I asked why… clearly I was not going to get an answer until I asked again. The reason… we only have 4 wait staff… this is not first time but clearly may be my last time! I don’t go to the one in Cedar Hill due to blatant racism so I guess I will boycott this one too. I’m running out of Joe’s to visit… guess I will have to find another crabshack.

Service was a joke. The manager gave better service than the servers. Crab was rubberized and a joke to crack with crackers. Worse joe’s from here to California. Not coming back.

I hate the color red. It makes me want to be dead. Red red, dead dead. I want to be named Ted. That’s and the food sucked. I found hair in my drink and the waitress spilled food on me. She smelled of fish and cigarettes. I was APPALED

Service was absolutely horrible. We stood in the front waiting to be seated for over 10 mins along with other customers until someone got the attention of a waiter who told us to wait. At that point we left. The restaurant was damn near empty. I see why now. They lost 3 couples tonight because of poor service

For some reason we have gone to Joe’s in different states and each one I say I’m never going back but we always seem to find our way to one. This one was not bad 1. We actually had a waitress that knew what was going on and what they offered 2. Because of the waitress the food was good. Their prices are pretty high for what you get but I grew up with family in New England and I alway get sick from Red Lobster so if I had to chose it would be Joe’s Crab Shack

A nice concept-different crab based dinners in a variety of flavours. I had the Sam Adams pot, which included 2 types of crab, some claws, clams, a few potatoes and a small corn cob. The beer flavour was satisfying. Overall, it’s a spendy place compared to the portion sizes, but a definite difference from Ded Lobster for a couple buck more. The server had an off night-brought my drink and seems to have forgotten the meal order. Another attentive server came over to check up, and cleared up the problem.

My husband had never been to Joe’s so we had to go, our waitress was amazing! and the food was really good, My lobster was a little tough but my husband’s wasn’t but it wasn’t a extreme problem. The Bloody Mary is a must, love it!

I did like the lobster and crab. The happy hour 2 dollar food taste like the cost. The Bartender has a good personality

I haven’t been to Joe’s Crab Shack in about 8 years, but it was definitely a place I used to frequent whenever I was craving crawfish(when in season), crab, and coconut shrimp. The reason I stopped going here is because I felt that the quality of the food, as well as the service, went completely downhill. The seafood didn’t smell or taste fresh and the accompanied sides never left a good taste in my mouth. This restaurant is very casual and kid friendly in my opinion. It’s a great place to come if you’re really into fried foods as well since that seems to be the majority of their menu. I doubt I would ever return, but for the price, it’s not half bad for what you get… fried, greasy, bland or over salty food(depending on whose cooking it I suppose).

Used to go to Joes when I was little and just recently decided to come try it out again. Been to this location 3 times & had delicious food and good service. Tasty crab, Mahi Mahi tacos, coconut shrimp, crab dip and spinach artichoke dip. Just like I remembered.

Just had an amazing experience at Joes Crab shack. Originally was going to have lunch at the Chilis across the street but they were just way too packed! Decided to try Joe’s Crab Shack for the first time because it seemed pretty slow. I have always wanted to try this place and I wasn’t disappointed! It was a fun, energy filled environment with out being too in your face. I had the chicken club sandwich w/fries and it was great! Perfectly cooked chicken and fresh tomato and onion! My fiancé got the«Reel Big Catch» that he loved. Lots of different kinds of seafood and the waiter didn’t make a fuss when he asked twice for extra ranches, lol :) plus he loves it when the waiter is on top of refilling his drink and our didn’t let us go more that 60 seconds with an empty glass! The restaurant manager even stopped at our table to ask how we were doing :) Plus the kids menus had a nice selection of sea food and non sea food dishes! My little girl had the mini slider burger with broccoli. I will defiantly be back again! P. S A lot of people determine the cleanliness of the restaurant based on the restrooms and their restrooms were superbly clean!

The food was great. The service was horrible. They were out of cups so they were using styrofoam cups instead which made it impossible to get refills. We also asked for a booster seat for my 4 year old to three different people and never received one. Our waitress was only seen about three times and served us food without any silverware and it took us five minutes to find her again and get silverware just so we could eat our food. Jo’s always has good food, but I won’t be eating at this location again.

Food was average. Crab dip was good. Majority of the food was fried. Although there are a few other options. Limes were dry. Sweet tea was great.

Went to Joe’s on Saturday afternoon. It’s been awhile since I went to this Joe’s. It’s not what it used to be. I never saw a manager, where in the pay, they were always making rounds. Service was barely acceptable. I had to dodge a 4-some of bikers standing just outside the door to enter the restaurant. I really don’t want to eat to rap music and in the past, I never had to. Foods was good but I would recommend going to a different Joe’s.

If I was Beyonce I would be singing«I’m feeling myself»… lol. These $ 2 drinks are the bomb-diggity(yes I’m telling my age). The bartender Jason is awesome and I love his energy plus he’s a cutie patooee too! Never been here on a Tuesday but this will become a regular spot for me. No wonder there’s a crowd in here. Everybody here for the $ 2 Tuesday. Now I’m signing off… its time for my third drink!

This Joe‘s can be hit or miss, though most of the time the service is great. The last time my husband and I went in the service was WONDERFUL. The manager is very nice. The food was good. We went for lunch most recently and I would go again. My husband and I were in and out with in an hour which is appreciated.

I should start this review by saying that this review is for the Tuesday $ 2 Happy Hour ONLY. I’ve never eaten at Joe’s and I’ve never been there except for $ 2 Tuesday lol That being said, I love this location — partially because my fiancé and best friend go there almost EVERYWEEK so when I do pop in, I’m treated like I’m one of the crew. The staff is great, funny and already know what we want when we walk in the door — love the service! If you want a quality happy hour, come to Joe’s!
